I've just been out to lunch and had a delicious chicken/egg/avocado salad with curry dressing. It was so good, oh my god. I hadn't eaten like anything all day except&amp;nbsp;a banana and pear and drunk some black coffee, was in too much of a rush to eat breakfast this morning, so being able to sit down and eat some good food was like heaven. I seriously can't survive without eating, it's crazy. And to think that some people only eat once or twice a day!!! I mean, their bodies would be used to it so they wouldn't really feel the hunger, but I do have to wonder what it was like in the phase where they were moving over from a ''normal'' eating plan of 3 meals a day and snacks to once a day. Insanity.&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, haven't really had a lot to do today so been catching up on some news and blogs and stuff. I've decided I need to start reading more news to keep updated, I feel like I've been living under a rock lately. And more books too. 1984 in Swedish is the&amp;nbsp;next on the list. After that, finishing Doctor Zhivago which I've been reading for about a year and a half... Started reading it on the plane to Sweden November 2011, so um yeah, probably about time I finished it.&lt;br /&gt;After work today I am heading to the gym for LEG DAY. Actually so excited, it's my favourite training day. Probably because I always feel so much (pain) afterwards from the workout, or because I actually have really strong legs so do pretty well. After the gym I am meeting Oscar and we will be heading to the supermarket to buy food for an epic dinner (seriously catching up on protein now, I ate like what I normally eat in a day the whole time I was in Paris), then chilling at mine.&lt;br /&gt;
I've had such a crazy week with like no time to rest, so I'm pretty glad it's Friday tomorrow and then the weekend. I'm going to be spending the whole time resting, catching up with friends, unpacking and organizing my life!! Feel like everything is a mess at the moment, and it freaks me out. Have been doing things non-stop since I landed so haven't really had time to do a lot of the things that I feel I have to do. On my first day back I spent most of my time with Oscar and went to the gym, and the next morning I was straight off to work. After that day I headed home for literally ten minutes before going out for the night, and then the next day I worked at a new place which was an hour and a half away. By the end of that day when I got home I was totally dead, I'd had less than 10 hours sleep total in 3 nights (not to mention my physical state was not the best after Paris, where I'd spent&amp;nbsp;8 nights out of 10 spartying), so when I got home I ate and then fell asleep, not waking up before this morning when I had to head straight off to work. I'd planned to do all my laundry yesterday, but sleep stole me instead, will have to do that tonight, grr.&lt;br /&gt;
Oh and I will of course be blogging all about Paris this weekend, have so many exciting things to share and so so&amp;nbsp;many photos! Unfortunately there was no food or drink on the plane but it's okay because I slept right through it. Never been to the CDG Paris airport before actually, so was interesting flying in and seeing the pretty country side on the way in! After arriving I had a bit of trouble finding the right train from the airport out to the area my friend lives in and then it didn't even stop where I was supposed to get off, but we found each other in the end haha. Ate some salmon and spinach lasagne for lunch and then we chilled in the sun on the balcony for a while, which has an amazing view over Paris! It's so warm and sunny here in comparison to Sweden.. I'm going to work on my tan while I'm here. It's already pretty good after my intense solarium session the other day but could always do with some improvement ;) After the balcony sesh we ducked out to the supermarket to buy some wine for tonight and met up with one of Thomas' mates whose house we chilled at in the garden. Now back home for dinner and then tonight we'll meet up with some more friends and then PARTY ON A BOAT ON THE SEINE. Hell yeah.&lt;br /&gt;

Well I've finished packing and got my outfit ready and am leaving in about 3 hours for the airport! Didn't even bother going to sleep.. I actually never really sleep the night before I fly somewhere, I'm always running late with packing and if not I wouldn't be able to settle down and sleep properly anyway so I usually just stay up the whole time. May regret it later though, haha.&lt;/div&gt;

Last thing I knew it was Monday, now it's Friday and tomorrow morning I'm leaving for Paris! What. (I'm SO EXCITED BY THE WAY) Regardless of the past four days flying past, they were four really good ones. On Valborg (Walpurgis, google it) eve I was called in to work during the day after which I met up with Oscar in the city, and then went shopping for supplies for the evening (ie. food and drinks). After a while Charlie came over too and we made tacos together and started a couple of drinks, and later Fanny and Izabelle joined. It was a really fun and chilled out evening! Then we went out into Stockholm city for some adventures, which turned out to be quite interesting... Haha. Didn't come home until really late (early) the next morning, and then spent the entire next day chilling in bed. That evening I met up with Valerie at her house, roasted marshmallows and made smores and watched Kite Runner. It was such a moving film. I'd heard about it so much, really can't believe I hadn't seen it yet. Highly recommended! Didn't get home from that until after midnight so went straight to sleep because I was pretty tired and had work the next morning. I worked at the same place as Tuesday which is in Östermalmstorg, one of the finer areas in Stockholm city. After that I went to the gym and tanned! Today I've worked and had a really cozy nice time at an open air cafe with Oscar. It's called Strandbryggan Sea Club and is like a giant pontoon on the water on the river! Really cool. Now time to pack for Paris!!! Ahh. Haven't even started. After a breakfast fit for a queen, I am heading out into the city to meet someone and do a bit of shopping. Mainly window shopping as I am in need of inspiration, but we will see if I find anything nice!&amp;nbsp;I haven't been called in to work, but will be prepared to leave in case they call.&amp;nbsp;Today I am wearing all black with a gold necklace, emerald green scarf and grey fur coat. It's 8 degrees so that should be more than enough to keep me warm! Makeup is simple with golden powdered eyes and winged eyeliner :) Gotta run to my train now, bye bye!&lt;/div&gt;

Today for brunch I made protein pancakes with cottage cheese. Sooooo yummy! I've tried to make them before but they didn't turn out as well as this, and this time I added in some extra ingredients so it would taste even better, and they did! Thought I'd share the recipe with you because you really have to try them. They are very high in protein and low in carbs in comparison to normal pancakes. Really good for those of you especially who work out!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This recipe makes about 5 smallish pancakes.&lt;br /&gt;
Mixture:&lt;br /&gt;
1 egg&lt;br /&gt;
3 egg whites&lt;br /&gt;
150g cottage cheese (I used low fat)&lt;br /&gt;1 small mashed banana&lt;br /&gt;
50ml whole/rolled oats&lt;br /&gt;
2 tablespoons peanut butter&lt;br /&gt;
2 tablespoons chopped nuts (I used hazelnuts.. yum)&lt;br /&gt;
1-2 teaspoons cinnamon&lt;br /&gt;
+Oil/butter for frying (Used linseed oil because it's healthier)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Topping:&lt;br /&gt;Whatever the hell you want. I used green gooseberries, red currants, a large dollop of quark (like thick natural yoghurt. It's really yummy and high in protein), more chopped hazelnuts and cinnamon! Served with a glass of milk, like a good European.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Instructions:&lt;br /&gt;1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and stir until the mixture is even&lt;br /&gt;2. Heat up the frying pan on medium-high heat&lt;br /&gt;
3. Add some butter/oil, and when that is hot add a scoop of the mixture. Turn down heat a little. (Aim to make smaller pancakes or pikelets as these are not too solid and can break easily when trying to flip if they are too large)&lt;br /&gt;
4. Flip when bottom is golden brown. Take out of the pan when both sides are cooked.&lt;br /&gt;
5. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.&lt;br /&gt;6. Serve, add healthy toppings and enjoy!&lt;br /&gt;

I've gotten the flu and am feeling like absolute crap. Sore throat, fever, phlegm stuck in my throat, runny nose, cough, stuffy head and blocked ears, you name it. Not so much fun! Last night I drifted in and out of sleep for 14 hours I think. Today I have chilled in bed, had a bit of a food marathon and a nice long hot bath. We went for a wander beforehand in the beautiful weather and finally found a cozy place in an underground vault! So cool. I had toast with caviar and cream (skagentoast) for entre and some tender beef with glazed root vegetables and red wine sauce, with some Spanish red wine, followed by a chocolate truffle and vanilla pannacotta with berry compote! Mmmm soo yummy.&lt;br /&gt;
I brought my camera along today so got some nice shots which I'll lay up! It was really nice weather out so I would've loved to photograph more (I really do love the architecture in Gamla Stan) but we were all starving so finding food took the priority there...&lt;br /&gt;
I'm going to head off to bed in a minute! Early start tomorrow morning :) xox&lt;br /&gt;

I was already feeling the effects last night when I got home, so not looking forward to tomorrow. The pain makes you know it was a good workout though. I didn't really move up in any weights dramatically, but small progress is good progress.&lt;br /&gt;
Not really in this order, this is what I did:&lt;br /&gt;Dumbbell lunges: 12kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Squats to 90 degrees: 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Ass to grass: 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Plie dumbbell squats: 16.5kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Barbell side split: 35kg 3x15&lt;br /&gt;
Leg press: 127kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Calf press on leg machine: 127kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Stiff-legged dumbbell deadlift: 15kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Seated leg curl: 59kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;
Calf extensions on Smith machine: 40kg 3x12&lt;br /&gt;

Haven't been called into work this morning so I am just waiting for them to call, and Skyping with my sister in Australia in the meantime! I am feeling a little bit like I might be coming down with a cold (think I jinxed myself yesterday) so I am loading up on Vitamin C and drinking tea! This is like the second half of my breakfast.. The first was Nystart bread with soft cheese, salmon, avocado, cottage cheese and an egg. Very protein and fat filled. Ha&lt;/div&gt;

I'm pretty good, feeling refreshed for a Monday morning! Had a pretty chill weekend. I saw to it that I rested properly because I feel like I've been doing too much lately and I didn't want it to all catch up with me and to run down or anything. Haven't got time for that! With all the things I do - work, gym, got a few social things planned this week, oh and I'm going to France! Definitely need to be feeling good for that. I'll be in Paris for 10 days in two weeks, I'm really excited! Anyway, prevention is better than cure, so I'd rather take it a little slower now than get sick or something!&lt;br /&gt;This weekend was pretty good. I worked out, saw a certain someone, went to a licorice festival with my lovely friend Michelle, went to the dentist and got a huge chunk of my gum cut out (so I'm in a fair bit of pain now woohoo), did some cleaning at home and basically just relaxed there the rest of the time. It was really nice. Spent most of yesterday snuggled up on the sofa watching tellie and eating pancakes and fruit, with the sunlight shining in through the window. I'm really enjoying the spring sunshine and warmth! Might have to bring out some shorts soon ;)&lt;br /&gt;Today I'm working in Kungsholmen, and I'm finishing a bit early because I started at 7:30. After work I'm planning on working out at the gym! I think I'll train legs today :) Afterwards my Aunt is coming for dinner which will be really nice! Haven't seen her for a couple of weeks I don't think?? I usually see her pretty often! Think that was one of those shitty days where everything that's negative in your life joins forces and attacks you head on. I'm okay now though :)&lt;br /&gt;

Yesterday was a pretty fun day! In the morning I headed to Täby Centrum to get my makeup done by Smashbox makeup artists who were having a promotion thing.. Doing makeup and a photoshoot for whoever signed up. There were 8 makeup artists who were doing a new persons makeup each half an hour, so 14 each day for 3 days in a row! I can imagine it would've been fun but exhausting. I got my makeup done with focus on the eyes, so more of a dark smokey look. I got a copy of the photos so I'll put some up!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After that I chilled for a while in Täby Centrum while I was waiting for Fanny. I did some shopping and chilled out in the ''fashion lounge'' they had temporarily set up at the front of the Lindex store while it was being renovated. It's so cute and cozy! I got free coffee and makeup colour consultation and read magazines, so I wasn't too bored while waiting for Fanny ;)&lt;br /&gt;

When she arrived we ate lunch together at a cafe in the centre. I had a healthy dish of salad, bulgur, chicken, cottage cheese and things like that. Yum! Then we went and surprised Izabelle at her work.. Haha that was fun! Then we spent the night at Fanny's and had dinner, watched a movie, and a few drinks! Really good night! &lt;3 p=""&gt;&lt;div&gt;

Sometimes you just have to let it out. You have to
admit to yourself that you're not actually okay, and stop lying to yourself.
You can't keep it bottled up forever or one day you're going to crash and burn.
You're going to have to accept it, and deal with it. People cannot possibly be
strong all the time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

this boat. It could be because I'm really worn out tiredness-wise: everything
becomes so dramatized when I'm this tired, but the thing is that this doesn't
come from nowhere. Maybe I'm over feeling right now, or maybe I'm numb most of
the time.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

think it's all starting to catch up with me, now that I'm no longer in
autopilot uberfocussed settling in mode. I now have time to think about other
things in life rather than getting settled, figuring out what I want to do with
myself, and finding work. etc. etc.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;A hell of a lot
has happened in the past couple of months actually. Packing up and leaving
Australia, spending a whole month solely with my family (we hadn't spent that
much time together for years), then leaving my family and coming to Sweden by
myself. That would be enough for anyone to deal with.. But I arrived in the
middle of a very tough time, which I had known about beforehand. My grandfather
had suffered a severe stroke about a week before, and was fighting through his
last days. I didn't really know what to expect, and I couldn't really cope with
it. I got to say goodbye though which I am immensely grateful for. A couple of
weeks later my dad flew over from Australia, family gathered from all over
Sweden and Finland, and we said our final goodbyes and wished our beloved
farewell. My dad stayed for a few more days, then he returned home to
Australia. It was great to see him, but it felt like when he left the end of
the toughest time was finally over. I felt the need for my own personal
sanity's sake to get myself settled, so I started the hunt for a job and the
process of doing a million things to settle which you would never even think
about unless you've done this sort of move yourself. The smaller things slowly started
getting done, but it was really difficult to find a job, and as time went on it
became more stressful and monotonously drainingly boring and depressing. But
unfortunately, it could not be avoided.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;I finally found a
job that I'm pretty happy with and am settled in most ways. Got myself into a
routine, almost completely in the system here, applied for university through
the long process, got lovely friends and family and lots of other things. But
my “love life’’ is pretty complicated and I’m having some problems with my
family, and I guess the combination of everything is catching up with me and
wearing me out.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;Blah. I don’t really know how I’m going to deal with everything.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;At least I know I have amazing friends and family to support me if there is the need, thankyou guys. Love you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: inherit;"&gt;There’s nothing I can really do I guess, except allow myself to think and
process. Sort out the remaining kinks (the ones I can do something about). And
let the time heal the rest.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

I've hardly prepared at all... I was planning to but then I decided to take a year to work before studying so the pressure to study was removed and I erm, never actually ended up doing any really.. Standard.&lt;br /&gt;It's my first educational assessment since my TEE exams last November, so hopefully I won't discover during the test that my brain has turned to jelly. I'm a little nervous, but I know I should be fine.&lt;br /&gt;
If they let us out of the building I will be meeting Fanny for lunch. Thank GOD it's Friday. Reeally need a break. Haha, my head is pounding. At least it's sunny and fresh and warm (not freezing) outside :) What's everyone doing today? Since I'm not going o the gym I'll do some ab exercises when I get home from work, and during the day I'm going to really focus on eating well. I need to start cutting the fat.&lt;br /&gt;
Anyway, for breakfast this morning in eating Nystart! low carb bread with soft cheese and sliced turkey with salad, green tea, and sliced blood orange. I normally make myself a nice lunch consisting of something like brown rice, boiled eggs, cooked salmon, salad and Nystart bread, but I really could not be bothered today so I just threw some more bread slices, soft cheese and turkey in a lunch box, and am counting on the supermarket up the road to supply the rest. Woohoo.&lt;br /&gt;

Wide-gip lat pulldown 3 (sets) x 12 (reps) - 30kg, 35kg, 30kg &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; (this just means that I went up in weight for the second set and decided it was too heavy for me so went down again on the next one)&lt;br /&gt;
Hyperextension 3x12 - bodyweight&lt;br /&gt;
Cable rope overhead triceps extension 3x12 - 15kg&lt;br /&gt;
Standing dumbbell triceps extension 3x12 - 11kg&lt;br /&gt;
Crunches 2x50 - bodyweight&lt;br /&gt;
Reverse crunches 20 reps, 30 reps - bodyweight&lt;br /&gt;
Bicycle crunches 2x20 - bodyweight&lt;br /&gt;
Leisurely swimming&lt;br /&gt;

This was a very rushed workout because I was in a hurry to meet someone, I kind of made it up as I went haha. Next time I will plan better. It was still a pretty solid workout!&lt;br /&gt;

Dumbbell shoulder press 1x9, 1x12, 1x9 - 9kg, 8kg, 8kg &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;(first set 9 reps on 9 kg, second 12 reps on 8, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;
Bent-over two dumbbell row 3x12 - 12kg&lt;br /&gt;
One arm dumbbell row 3x12 - 12 kg&lt;br /&gt;
Dumbbell bicep curl 3x12 - 9kg &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; (more like mini-pumps actually. I have really weak biceps in comparison to my other muscles! Need to get over my fear of getting big arms and actually start lifting heavier!)&lt;br /&gt;

Lying overhead barbell tricep extension 3x12 - 19kg&lt;br /&gt;
Tricep pushdown - rope attachment (single arm) 3x12 - 10kg&lt;br /&gt;

Calf press on the leg press machine 3x12 - 136kg&lt;br /&gt;
Thigh adductor 3x12 - 50kg&lt;br /&gt;

I was also a bit rushed this day so I couldn't finish my kickbacks. Nevertheless the pain during the next two days (thus far) was pretty good, so I'd say it was a decent workout.&lt;br /&gt;

This week I've been a bit rushed and stressed out, which has taken it's toll on my training. (Having to rush the last bit and missing out on some entire exercises) I always feel so unorganized and out of it when I can't complete a workout properly. I think that's due to my perfectionistic personality.. With some things in my life they just have to be perfect, although I can live fine in a totally messy room hehe (as long as I don't have any visitors, then it freaks me out). Anyway, I'm going to go to bed now. I will not be working out tomorrow, as the Högskoleprov is the next morning, and to be honest I haven't really studied.. Start work at 9am again, then after the test I can celebrate the weekend! I've got a few goodies up my sleeve for this weekend, stay tuned ;)&lt;br /&gt;

Pretty full-on, which I noticed last night when I came home from the gym, I was sitting and chatting at the kitchen table and started falling asleep, so I went straight to bed hehe. I got to sleep in today (6 instead of 4.30 woohoo) as I was starting later, and am now sitting at work. Feeling like a bit of a wreck still, so treating myself to some gingerbread with my cappuccino ;)&lt;br /&gt;
I've decided just to make up my own workout programs but use others for inspiration when I'm lacking..&lt;br /&gt;
I'm also going to start posting all my workouts on this blog! Lately I've been receiving so many compliments on my progress which is really exciting and encouraging! So I'm going to post my workouts so you can see what I actually do and use them as inspiration for your own workouts if you wish :-) I'll just post the names of the exercises and you can look them up on &lt;a href="http://www.bodybuilding.com/" target="_blank"&gt;Bodybuilding.com&lt;/a&gt;, where you can look up hundreds of different exercises, see which muscle groups they work, and even watch videos on them. I'll also post the type of weights that I use and how heavy they are, then the sets and reps, for example 3x12 (which is a pretty standard one which you will see that I use a lot). This means that I do 12 repetitions of a certain exercise, have a breather, then repeat twice, hence 3 sets. Bear in mind that I am an amateur and still have a LOT to learn about the whole business, so don't take anything I say too seriously just yet.. I'm still learning to swim in the vast ocean that is bodybuilding haha :-) But I am enthusiastic and dedicated and&amp;nbsp;making progress as I learn! That's the main thing right?&lt;br /&gt;

Something super exciting that happened yesterday after my workout at the gym when I checked my phone.. I had put up a photo on Instagram a couple of weeks after I had been tanning, and the resemblance between myself and my fitness idol Dianna Dahlgren was absolutely uncanny, probably thanks to my newly acquired multitude of freckles hehe. I hashtagged it her name, and well she&amp;nbsp;must have seen&amp;nbsp;it because&amp;nbsp;yesterday she actually commented on my photo and agreed! Ahhhh I died, I was so excited. She's been a huge inspiration to me and my fitness journey! And probably will continue to be so even more now :))&lt;br /&gt;

I've started&amp;nbsp;two new mottos for myself - ''Train to cry tomorrow'' and ''Sweat Pain Results''. It always feels best knowing you've really given your workout your all, and sweat and pain feel like measures of how hard you went. And the harder you train, the more results you will see! I'm going to start using them as hashtags on my Instagram, feel free to do so too. Let's make it a movement :P I usually post all my workout photos and progress on Insta, so I guess if you want to see them first check there. My username is saskia_ingrid !&lt;br /&gt;

Tonight I think I will be training abs, lats and back. Bit of an unusual combination I know, but they are feeling a bit neglected at the moment so I&amp;nbsp;need going to focus on them a bit extra from now on.&amp;nbsp;Last night I did chest, shoulders, and arms (biceps &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp;triceps) and cardio. On Tuesday I did legs (hamstrings, quads, calves), glutes and a bit of back as well in my deadlifts! I was in a hurry so didn't get to do cardio and had to leave in the middle of my cable kickbacks haha.&lt;br /&gt;
I'm aching all over today, thanks to my last two hectic workouts, and it feels good! So happy with myself, I know I'll improve due to all my hard work.&lt;br /&gt;

Today I don't finish work til 5.30, and I have to study a little tonight as well for the University Entrance Exam that is on Saturday, so with going to the gym tonight it's going to be a late one!
