I thought these were unique, out of the ordinary red and green Christmas theme.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPKfHtBWTWI/AAAAAAAAAFg/RRKN4BAtg2g/s320/kims+misc+002.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256438669787942242" />Both of these designs I used StampinUp Christmas tree stamp. I stamped the trees in white silver. The sparkley blue cardstock was found at our local Kelly Paper Co. (isn't it pretty?) The ribbon is from Creative, Inc.'s Foofalalah line and the cute snow flakes were found at our local scrapbook store.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPKfH7CAezI/AAAAAAAAAFo/agYXO3HmwtA/s320/kims+misc+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256438673548802866" />The only difference with this cards is that I cuddlebugged the cardstock to give it some texture. Hope you liked these...We have been working on more and will post soon! Take care & have a great week!

Groovy Ghoulies

The Sassy Sisters have had some haunting times lately (hee, hee). Michelle has been really busy with her college studies and Kim has been busy with work & family stuff. However, Kim did have a little down time and you know what that means! She was able to create some cute Halloween cards...I bought some Halloween stamps at Michael's over the summer for only one dollah! I couldn't wait to ink these puppies up.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJhQHqKR8I/AAAAAAAAAFY/XdRlsziKvHU/s320/kims+misc+010.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256370644656474050" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJgTn__UgI/AAAAAAAAAEw/aDaH0GuHMtg/s320/kims+misc+005.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256369605365944834" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJgT9lq_HI/AAAAAAAAAE4/VH07vS9TuIw/s320/kims+misc+006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256369611161140338" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJgUCbYmSI/AAAAAAAAAFA/7umnzI6uA0M/s320/kims+misc+007.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256369612460169506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJgUZtbMeI/AAAAAAAAAFI/2pUqZ6VBBxw/s320/kims+misc+008.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256369618709852642" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SPJgUfhHbWI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/1f6J4NMfyyI/s320/kims+misc+009.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5256369620268838242" />
It's amazing what you can do with a $1! I had fun putting these cards together, I used Mind's Eye scrapbook paper from a paper pack that I picked up from our local scrapbook store. I found some cute bat eyelets there too. One day, while shopping at the Target $1 spot, I spotted the CUTEST Halloween/Fall eyelets...of course they ended up in my cart too! One afternoon, I just threw these groovy ghoulies together...ENJOY! Stay tuned for some holiday cards that I've been working on! Take care and have a great week!
Aloha,
The Sassy Sisters

Buongiorno Amici!!

Io sono studente d'italiano! Yes, I am taking Italian and loving it! I haven't forgotten about SASSY SISTERS! We have been busy with mail orders and planning for upcoming events. I'll be updating later with the details!!

So, I started school and i'm enjoying every minute. My biology class is good fun, I especially like doing the lab work and looking at all the funky stuff under the microscope! Do you know what's lurking in pond water - ewwww!! Next week, we'll be looking at the innards of a FROG!!! We aren't disecting it - we're gonna be looking at dried up intestines. YUM! My nephew Noah thinks its pretty cool! I'll be able to tell him what it looked like. I feel like a mad scientist when I'm in lab! Italian is a challenge - but, i'm hangin' on! My biggest fear is getting called on by the professor and having to speak to him in Italian....I know, isn't that why I wanted to learn how to speak it. I'm not really shy - just a little insecure??

Football season has started - so Friday nights and Saturday's are pretty full!

We hope you are all happy and healthy!

Hope to see you soon!

Arrivedercci!

Where did the summer go???

Aloha Everyone!

Geesh, summer sure did fly by! Needless-to-say, summer has come and gone, which means Kims three boys will be returning to school in a few days and football season for two of them has started. Bryce, Kim's oldest is returning to Chatsworth High School as a junior and is playing on the Varsity football team! We are looking forward to his games!! Zack, is starting as a freshman joining his big brother at Chatsworth High School, that's going to be pretty exciting, we know that Bryce will watch out for his little brother and Zack will do well in his studies as always! Noah, will be returning as a 5th grader (his last year in elementary school) to Hesby Oaks. He is also playing football for the Chatsworth Chiefs, which will consume most of our Saturdays until November. So, as you can see, Kim has her hands full for a while...do not FRET, somehow, someway, the Sassy Sisters are still on the lookout for Craft Fairs - especially this time of the year with Christmas just a few months away!

As for me, I left my job after 20 pretty cool years (10 of which I traveled A LOT!)...and took a whole year off to...figure out what I want to be when I grow up?!! After a years journey, I'm returning to college. YEP! I'm ready! I'm taking a full load and will be working towards transfering to a California State University (maybe in a year) for a Bachelors in Business. The really cool thing, is, my Indian Reservation (Pima - Salt River from Scotsdale, AZ) is paying for my education as well as, part of my living expenses!! Wooohooo - free $$!! Its a win-win situation! How could I pass this opportunity up! I will still be dedicating my free time to my commitment to Sassy Sisters...

Here's a few pictures from our last event at the Hueneme Days. My husband, Mitch was able to pull some strings so we could have our booths next to each other. It was so convenient cause he and his partner Greg helped us with the infamous EZ Up TENT...i'm telling you, there's nothing EZ about those things! HA!HA!HA! Hi everyone...hope your August is off to a great start! As for the Sassy Sisters, Michelle has been busy getting our sassy site up and running...she rocks! When you have minute, head on over here It's the coolest. It is very exciting to have our very own website. As Michelle mentioned, it's still a work in progress and we will be adding more very soon. Last week Saturday, Michelle & I turned 40! I think we've been too tired to think about it, but yeah, we turned 40! Fun, huh! Yesterday, I came a across a catalog with business greeting cards and I came across a grouping of cards that I really liked so, of course i tried to mimic it last night when I got home. I think i did a pretty good job, but it's my own creation.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SJR7oBoMfNI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/lsl8AahWyWc/s320/sassy+misc+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229940994845998290" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SJR7ooOGiOI/AAAAAAAAAEY/BzhTJdWC3ZY/s320/sassy+misc+006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229941005205539042" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SJR8j3szD2I/AAAAAAAAAEg/NVw_SS1F4wQ/s320/sassy+misc+009.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229942022973099874" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_JZbsYivDA68/SJR8keaATgI/AAAAAAAAAEo/GVOQmjYKjIc/s320/sassy+misc+010.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229942033363258882" />
I like the way the cards turned out. I decided yesterday to get on the ball and finish building our website!! YAH THATS RIGHT - BUILD OUR WEBSITE! We still have products we will be placing on our site - so it is still a work in progress. Be patient, i'll have everything up by next week. In the meantime, take a peak. You CAN actually order directly from our site. I'll still be tweaking it and making it better as time goes on. Building a site, takes time and patients - I'm pretty amazed that I didn't throw my computer across the room, at times, I got pretty frustrated, but, managed to get through the tough times. So, its official - the SASSY SISTERS have their own site. www.sassysisterscrafts.com Please bookmark it, add it to your favorites and pass it along.

Our next event is still in the works. I believe we will be going to the Hueneme Days at Port Hueneme in Oxnard. The details are forthcoming.

A Hui Hou,
Michelle and Kim

DON'T FORGET ITS www.sassysisterscrafts.com

HEY! Its always crunch time for us the week before our events. We spend most of our time replenishing our stock, or coming up with new ideas. We came up with a great idea for kids! It is so cuuuttteee! Its a pack of unfinished cards with 8 crayons so the kids can create their own piece of art to give to loved ones! How cool is that! I know you'll love 'em!!! Here's a sneak peak:

We just received a shipment of FINDERS KEY PURSE....with a few new designs!
Striped Slippers

Heritage Heart

We've also just finished making address/calender book sets w/ matching beaded pen. All sets are in Hawaiian Print.

Here's a couple of samples:

In between everything else, we're also making our cards. We've come up with some Japanese Washi Paper Quilting Cards. These are beautiful and take a lot of time. But, its all worth it once the card is completed! Here's an unfinished sample of the first one I made...the others are still works in progress. We will have a limited supply of these at Ho'olaulea, but are happy to take orders and ship when completed.

For those of you who don't know where ALONDRA PARK IS LOCATED:
3850 MANAHATTAN BEACH BLVD
LAWNDALE, CALIFORNIA

The park is located between Alondra Park Golf Course and El Camino College.
Admission to Ho'olaulea is FREE, but, PARKING at El Camino College is $2.00.
You may bring beach chairs and ice chests and please wear sun screen - it does
get hot.

We hope to see you there.

A Hui Ho,
Michelle and Kim
