You don’t need to pay me to give away runs

SreeSant said, “It is true that bookies had contacted me and they offered me money to give more than 14 runs in an over. Initially I thought of rejecting the offer; but after thinking a lot, I accepted the money.

But I have not done any spot fixing. I was bowling like I always do and batsmen kept hitting me like they always do. It is my unique ability to give away runs. Had the brokers not given me money, I still would have gone for so many runs or maybe more. Then what’s wrong in accepting some money for not doing anything special. I took it as a reward for my ability”.

Harbhajan Singh has also come in support of SreeSant. Bhajji Said, “Everybody knows that couple of seasons back, I slapped him on the field. It is the time to tell the truth. That time also, bookies asked him to give away runs, but he rejected the offer. I was so angry on hearing it. I slapped and asked him either to bowl properly or at least earn with his poor bowling. He tried for years to bowl economically. Finally this year he realized that he can’t, so he decided to go with second option and took the money”.

SreeSant has said that he only took the money from bookies but didn’t change his game, but he suspects that there might be some players who have under-performed. “I can’t believe that some teams could not score even 8-9 runs in some of my overs. I’m sure all those batsmen must have taken money not to score in my overs. All those batsmen should be interrogated and I’m sure more than 80% of them will be found guilty”.

Regarding his future plans he said that he is planning to meet Azhar this week. He wants Azhar to mentor him so that after his great feat, like Azhar, he can get a ticket from Congress and become MP.

Kapil Sibbal informed the media about the same,” People are losing hope in judiciary for multiple reasons. First, they believe that process is complicated. Secondly, govt people are inefficient so it takes years. And finally, that courts work under influence of Govt. To resolve all the issues, we have decided to privatize them.”

“Courts will be auctioned for 10 years by the bidding process. We want to ensure the public that there will be no scam in this auction. This is last year of our govt and we want to do some serious work this year”.

Many politicians, whose cases are pending in courts for long time, are demanding that cases of politicians should not be given to private companies. A. Raja is leading the group of such politicians, whose relations with Prime Minister have gone bitter in recent times. He said,” If provisions can be made that Prime Minister will not be included in Lokpal, then they should make provision that ministers won’t be included in private courts, for them current courts will be used.

This news has sent a wave of happiness among the people, but many judges are concerned with this decision. Justice Patju shared his concern,” My son is in private sector and I know the pressure there. With this privatization, surely there will be an annual appraisal for judges too. We will be given quarterly targets to solve so many cases per quarter. If we give wrong judgment, there will be escalations to top management. After living leisure life being a govt employee for whole life, this much pressure at the end of career is painful“

Lawyer Lakhan Petmalani also expressed his grief, “Currently courts remain closed for long periods during summer and winter, now these private companies will make us work for long hours. I don’t want to come home late every day.”

Although many companies are trying to get this deal, but leading horse is ‘Raj Darbar Gutka’ as their name also says ‘Raj Darbar’ or ‘King’s Court’. As per the internal sources of the company, they have already started to prepare their working model. They are planning a good hike for the judged who give quick verdict in cases involving rape, celebrities or politicians. Every year, judges will have to show value addition, wherein they will have to project the money recovered from politicians by solving their cases.

If this pilot process of privatization goes fine, then govt next plans to do something that will change the future of the country. If all goes well, website of IRCTC will also be privatized later on.

All the students were brought laughing, and even after spending two hours in the Hospital; they still continue to laugh. None the medicines given to the student seems to be working.

School Principal, Sudhir Mehta, explained the incidence as, ” This is a Govt. school. So ,as usual, one of the teachers didn’t turn up today. Students were free, so they went to the nearby tea shop. There they saw something on a news channel, and since then they all have been laughing. On seeing the seriousness of the matter we have admitted them to the Hospital. Hope they can cure our students.”

Doctors are trying hard to understand what might have happened, but all in vain. However one doctor, who was attending the students from the start, has himself started laughing madly. But before going mad, he drew this picture:

Police is still trying to understand what this might mean and has asked people to help them if they could interpret it. Students meanwhile continue to laugh like anything.
