One thing for sure; when these folks are done on the trail for the day, they all seem to have a strong desire for a cuppa - at Timmie's -

Cannons in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada

"A combination of grassy notes with a tang of acids and a hint of vanilla over an underlying mustiness"; is how a study from a team of chemists describe the unique odor of olde books. Sounds rather poetic, for sure, but what causes the odor of olde books?

Books are made up almost entirely of organic materials- paper, ink, glue, fibers. All these materials react to light, heat, moisture

The Easter Basket

The Saint John City Market is the oldest continuing farmer's market in Canada, with a charter dating from 1785. The current market building has a unique roof structure that resembles an inverted ship's keel. Made of wooden trusses, and built by ship carpenters of the day.

The floor slopes with the natural grade of the land and the architecture is in the second empire style. however, the sun is higher N hotter - beginning

We hadn't seen the sun since March 1st storm,

Dulse is reddish
seaweed that grows in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. It has been harvested
for hundreds of years and is commonly used as both food and medicine. Today, it
can be ordered just about anywhere online from many health food stores or fish
markets or even ordered directly from the many small towns and villages along
the Bay of Fundy.

The Pook Toque has been out for a while and did originate from that "olde wool sock" by a group of inventors from St. Mary's Ontario. Holiday Etiquette For The Dog

Special Attention - Should be Read Out Loud to Yer Pet, Eh

1. Be especially patient with your humans during this time. They may appear to be more stressed-out than usual and they will appreciate long comforting dog leans.

2. They may come home with large bags of things they call gifts. Do not assume that all the gifts are yours.

I think this "Rafflesia Plant" is one of the most beautiful I have seen.
