Apple has updated their MobileMe Find My iPhone app for iOS devices.

Find My iPhone 1.0.1 adds support for the new iPod touch as well fixes the translations for French, German and Japanese. The update also includes various bug fixes.

Find my iPhone is part of MobileMe’s services.

iWeb 3.0.2 update

Apple has updated iWeb. iWeb is part of the iLife ‘09 suite of applications made by Apple.

The update “refines comment and search support for blogs and podcasts published to MobileMe. It also resolves some issues related to publishing sites to MobileMe.”

Safari 5.0.2 & Safari 4.1.2 Updates

Apple has released Safari 5.0.2 for Macs running Leopard/Snow Leopard and Windows machines. Apple also released Safari 4.1.2 for Macs running Tiger. This update improves compatibility and security.

The update addresses the following issues:
• Fixes an issue that could prevent users from submitting web forms
• Fixes an issue that could cause web content to display incorrectly when viewing a Google Image result with Flash 10.1 installed
• Establishes an encrypted, authenticated connection to the Safari Extensions Gallery

Both updates include important security updates.

iFitnessHD include other features:

- Videos instruction for each exercise as well as images of people doing them with full text instruction.
- Ability to track & e mail workout logs to yourself.
- Weight monitor/bmi and calculator/measurements recorder. Also a stop-watch timer.

iFitnessHD is a paid app. Available on the app store for ipad costing 4.99$.

‘iFitness’ for iphone costing 1.99$.

I highly recommend it especially for those who don’t have private trainers.

Apple begins shipping the iPod nano to customers

Apple has started sending emails to customers who bought an iPod nano informing them that the iPod nano has been shipped. Expected delivery is September 13 2010.

If you don’t want to wait for stores in Saudi Arabia to provide it you can buy an iPod nano from the Apple Online Store directly. You will need a US mail forwarding service, I recommend MyUS.

iOS Developer Program instead of iPhone

Apple has announced on their developer website that the iPhone Developer Program will be renamed to iOS Developer Program. This was an expected move after Apple has renamed iPhone OS to iOS a few months ago since the OS is available on non-iPhone devices (iPad and iPod touch).

iOS Developer Program still cost $99/year and you can “access the same program benefits and technical resources for developing and distributing your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch apps.”

Apple releases Xcode 4 developer preview 3

Apple has released the third developer preview of the upcoming Xcode 4 IDE.

Xcode is the free development tools used to make Mac OS X and iOS applications.

To download Xcode 4 developer preview 3 you will need a free Apple Developer account. You can also watch these free WWDC 2010 sessions. All information is considered “Apple Confidential Information”.

Apple posts iPod event video

Apple has posted the video from their Wednesday September 1 Music Event. Apple announced new iPod models (iPod shuffle, iPod nano and iPod touch), iOS updates (iOS 4.1 for iPhone/iPod touch and iOS 4.2 that will add Arabic support for the iPad), iTunes 10 and finally a new Apple TV.

You can watch the event video using any of these methods:

iOS 4.1 Gold Master and SDK

Apple has released the Golden Master (pre-release) seed of iOS 4.1 and Xcode 3.2.4 with iOS 4.1 GM seed SDK. It is available only for registered iPhone developers.

iOS 4.1 GM is available for the following devices:

• iPhone 4
• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 3G
• iPod touch 2nd gen
• iPod touch 3rd gen
