The Nurse Educator maintains historical record of staff’s competencies, educational opportunities, licensures and certifications. Uses the strategic planning process; consults with and advises the Managers for the Operating Room, and as needed to the Manager and other educators in Sterile Processing and Ambulatory Surgery, as well as the Director for Surgical Services on issues relating to the operation of areas of responsibility.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED: Registered Nurse, Licensed in State of Georgia Bachelor's Degree required

EXPERIENCE/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: Minimum 3-5 years Operating Room experience (preferably scrub and circulating experience)Prefer Operating Room leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Team leader positions or equivalent)

The Manager of Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations and providing clinical leadership for the activities of the Cardiac Cath Lab, the Cardiac Recovery/Observation Unit, Radiology Specials Suite, and non-invasive cardiology.
