We at Save Money Movers pride ourselves on being the best choice for nationwide moving labor services. We offer the best rates available while meeting or exceeding the highest expectations of our customers.

Back in 2005, our owners Brad and Rebecca were in foreclosure due to their being laid off from their previously secure good paying factory job. While their work had consisted of mainly labor, the plant had been there for years. Their grandparents and parents had retired from there and they expected to do the same. The closing shocked and saddened many in the community.

Try as they might, they could not scramble up the money to save their home, and no new jobs were in sight. The banks were very unsympathetic and family and friends were struggling as well. Slowly they resigned themselves to the fact that they had to move from their home of 23 years.

Being in need of relocating help from one state to another, Rebecca called Mayflower movers a national full service moving company to come give her an estimate. When she saw the price she was demoralized!. The rate they quoted would terribly deplete their already depleted savings. She tried calling other nationwide moving companies and the results were the same if not worse.

She was bemoaning these facts to her neighbor when her husband interjected ” I will help you move. Just get a rental truck and I will help you load it. All you and Brad gotta do is drive it and get somebody to help you unload.” Rebecca wondered why she had’nt thought of that. But who would she get to unload? Tom, the neighbors husband had a answer for that too. “Go online and google up nationwide moving labor, moving labor services will pop up”.

Rebecca price shopped Uhaul, Penske, and Budget trucks as well as costs for ABF and PODS containers and was pleasantly surprised to find the costs were 50% lower than the full service Movers even after paying for the Penske rental truck, the gas and mileage fees and the moving helpers to load and unload.

A couple months later, one night she and Brad sat at their kitchen table brainstorming business ideas when suddenly Brad exclaimed, “I got it! Lets start our own moving labor company, call it Save Money Movers. I know there are other self moving companies out there but we can differentiate from them by charging less but provide service that meets or exceeds customers expectations!” Save Money Movers was born.
