Like most shopers, mine happens to be attached my KEYS. I have all my coupons loaded on this card. All except the 50 that I have in my hand, of course. I'm panicking. The sweet cashier told me I could just put in my phone number.

Guess what folks... when you do that, you don't get the coupons loaded on your card to come off. So, I spent $68.00 on 58 items instead of the $30 I had intended. However I still made out with a 48% savings, but I sure was upset.

I called my mom on the way home (I do carry an extra set of keys, thank goodness) and as I'm explaining why I am upset I could have sworn she was secretly laughing at me. It wasn't that I had lost my keys to my car, house, etc... I had LOST my 11 year old Kroger card. 

I searched and searched in the house, the car and called the store. "It's Gone!" I cried. Yes, you can get another and they are free, but then having to register them all over again at all the sites just didn't appeal to me.

I slept restlessly, fitfully and woke up depressed. 

I made my coffee and then I searched one last place... THERE!! in the middle of the pile of newspapers I was to recycle was my BABY! My best friend! The one that I have saved so much money with! Yes, I'm joking about it, but the feeling was truly sickening. After finding it my day was much better and brighter.

Alas, God is good!
