Jewelry fanatics and jewelry makers can get FREE admission to the popular Intergem shows below. Founded four decades ago, International Gem & Jewelry Shows were one of the first to sell commercial jewelry to the public, with the broad selection and prices (from $5 to $500k) of a trade show.

More than 100 of these shows are held coast to coast each year, with exhibitors from across the U.S. as well as China, India, Africa, Australia, and Russia. If you don’t have a wholesale ID but want to shop a wide selection of gems, beads, jewelry and accessories, there’s an upcoming show near you. You can buy tickets for $6 through Intergem but certain shows are available free (with a $3 service fee) via Goldstar, including the ones at National Harbor and Chantilly, VA.

Spy Museum is not among the free-admission museums along the National Mall, but it’s a short walk from Chinatown where you can get a cheap lunch – and it’s well worth the splurge (especially with the deal here). You will choose a secret identity and mission when you enter, and then try out all kinds of interactive exhibits. Depending on how long you linger, you can pick up some fascinating tidbits, especially regarding the evolution of bugging. Warning: you may be a little paranoid for a while afterwards!

Every year, the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association hosts FREE baseball clinics in various locations across the country. Heavy hitters like Brooks Robinson and Phil Niekro have been known to show up. Two Legends for Youth baseball clinics will take place in the Northeast this summer, and one of them is right here at Nationals Park:

June 16: Cooperstown Clinic, Doubleday Field, Cooperstown, New York

July 17: D.C. Clinic, Nationals Park, Washington, D.C.
