I know it was a long time since I last update the blog because of some personal problems which I hope it lasts soon , Today I am very proud to present you an exclusive interview with the gorgeous Christina DeRosa , the star of many successful films and the actress who did the famous scene in the film Run! Bitch Run! with actress and great friend Ivet Corvea whom i did an exclusive interview with her two years ago, I am very grateful for Christina for accepting to answer my questions and I wish her all the luck and success and love in the world.

AraSoles: It is not listed on imdb.com your birth date, Would u like to tell?

Christina DeRosa: My age is timeless.

AraSoles: How did you start your career in acting?

Christina DeRosa: If my memory does not fail me, I was less than 10 years old, just 11 years ago or so. I always have problems with numbers. By the time I was 10, I had already been in numerous theatrical productions and that’s when I met Natalie Portman, we became fellow munchkins together in The Wizard of Oz. I can tell you that during our breaks, we would all sit in a circle, playing games and sharing secrets. Natalie shared, she did not want to be an actress when she grew up and wanted to be a doctor like her daddy. That was when her last name was still Hershlag, before the movie, The Professional. Since then the medical world has lost a great doctor but the theatrical world, gained, an amazing actress who I hold the greatest regards and admiration for. She inspires me to be a great actress.

AraSoles: You are a multi-talented artist, you act, you sing , you do commercials ... what is the career you prefer to have your big breakthrough into?

Christina DeRosa: Thank you! I want it all! I want all the statuettes my mantle, an Emmy, an Oscar, a Grammy! I give greatness, I expect greatness!

AraSoles: How did you feel about doing that scene in "Run! Bitch Run!" in which you lick and suck Ivet Corvea foot? do you have any memories about it?
Christina DeRosa: Regarding the scene in Run! Bitch Run! I remember demanding that the actress (Ivet Corvea) wash her feet before the scene, which she easily and lovingly did, other than that, I was ready for the director to call, “Action.”

AraSoles: Do you know that cult director Quentin Tarantino loves women feet and all his films has closeups shots of feet soles of his leading actresses like Uma Thurman , Bridget Fonda ,Sydney Tamiia Poitier and Diane Kruger?

Christina DeRosa: Well, that explains a lot about Quentin and I will be more than happy my little baby feet to him.

AraSoles: Do you think that director Joseph Guzman has the same passion for feet like Quentin Tarantino ?

Christina DeRosa: I really cannot answer that however, that is something to ponder about. Joseph Guzman, Quentin Tarantino in the same sentence?

AraSoles: Do you think that a woman’s foot is a turn on for men just like her other body parts that men are usually turned on by, like breast or bottoms or legs?

Christina DeRosa: I believe EVERYTHING about a woman is a turn on for a man, and for some women.

Christina DeRosa: My feet could use a lot more attention, this interview is for sure stroking their little size five ego and foot massages are always the order of the day.

AraSoles: What made you take a job as a shoe model? Was it that you know you have pretty feet so you asked for that job? Or is it that someone saw you have pretty feet, and asked you to do the job?

Christina DeRosa: Like every part of my body temple, I treat them with agape love and numerous times, I have to give them personal massages, for no one is around to aide my footsies.

AraSoles: Do you like your nails painted or you prefer it natural?

Christina DeRosa: I prefer my toes painted and painted Ferrari RED, my favorite color, a color of passion!

AraSoles: what is your favorite footwear and what color you prefer?

Christina DeRosa: None, I prefer my feet totally naked able to run in the moist succulent green grass unfortunately everybody always wants to put shoes on them so I respectfully oblige and I will take shoes from any designer that wants to be noticed.

AraSoles: Do you go barefoot at home?

Christina DeRosa: I love to walk barefoot at home and feel the hardwood floors press against them or walk on the beach and feel the sand go through my toes. I love to be barefoot in yoga classes; its grounding! Slippers are not my thing!

Christina DeRosa: Absolutely, Without a doubt! Why do you think, I have two hundred plus pair of shoes…

AraSoles: It is not listed anywhere even on IMDB , what is your birth date , and where?
Linda Cropper: 1949 in Sydney.

AraSoles: When was the first time you think about having an acting career?
Linda Cropper: I was always interested in becoming an actress I joined all the school plays and someone suggested that I joined NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) and...I did!

AraSoles: How do you choose your roles?
Linda Cropper: I don't usually mind what role I play. As long as it's not too...unusual.

AraSoles: You did many mini-series in Australia and USA? but you did very few long running TV series, can i assume you don't like long commitments?
Linda Cropper: Well I guess, yeah, I just prefered to do short series.

AraSoles: I first ever saw you in "Cyclone Tracy" (1986), that was your first main role only after two years of starting your screen career but you looked so radiant and so self confident, tell me about the experience?
Linda Cropper: Doing 'Cyclone Tracy' was a lot of fun. I was more confident with movies because I had done some before that movie. It was so different to what I had been in previously.

AraSoles: Most of your screen work is in TV, why so few films?
Linda Cropper: I guess I just prefered doing small TV Series. Movies never really inspired me I just liked doing little things. But that didn't stop me from doing movies. If they wanted me, I said yes.

AraSoles: You did a lot of work outside Australia, why didn't you pursue a stardom career in Hollywood?

Linda Cropper: Hollywood never really appealed for me. I liked smaller cities, where it was less noisy and I just prefered to be closer to home.

AraSoles: What is current screen work you are on now or will be doing soon ?
Linda Cropper: Um...what I am doing now if shooting Offspring season 2. That's really all I'm working on right now. Doing a few other things but there not for TV.

AraSoles: Did you ever think about directing beside acting?
Linda Cropper: Directing always seemed so difficult. I just liked to be in the show/film and just told what to do.

AraSoles: Have you ever visited my country Egypt?
Linda Cropper: I did visit Egypt but it was only a short visit, sorry I didn't meet you! Haha.

AraSoles: Who you like the most from the actresses of your generation?
Linda Cropper: I don't really have a favourite actress. I just like working with them and finding out what amazing things they have done.

Linda Cropper: I don't smoke. I used to when I was younger but not anymore...ish.

AraSoles: Do you regret anything in ur life?
Linda Cropper: Um...I regret nothing from my life. I am very pleased with how everything turned out.

Linda Cropper: Yes. My feet are usually cleaned and made sure that no un-attractive marks there

Linda Cropper: My favourite colour....would have to be Red

Linda Cropper: I like to wear highheels, that are normally a bright colour. Red, sometimes orange!

Linda Cropper: I do sometimes...normally wear slip-ons around the house.

Linda Cropper: I think this interview was a little weird! But it was kind of interesting.

Linda Cropper: My foot size? I'm an eight.

AraSoles: What is the question you was sure to be asked but a stupid interviewer like me forget to ask? and answer your question of course.

Linda Cropper: Umm, I guess the question I thought you would ask me was - How did my acting career start? And, your sort of did ask me that question anyway. But my acting career started basically at school. I joined all the school plays and some teachers noticed my talent. I was offered to join NIDA so I did and it was acting from that moment on. I had always been interested in writing plays but I realised that I was much better at acting than I ever was writing. So that's what I did.

AraSoles: And one last thing , will you promise me that in your next project you will do a scene that involves your sexy barefeet soles facing the camera?
Linda Cropper: I'll try and do a role that shows much more feet in the future! You funny thing!

THANK YOU

On Sun, Dec 19, 2010 my blog "Save Our Soles" received the visitor #100.000 since i start posting in April 2008 , i made this blog because i wanted to express my love for female feet in films and tv , sometimes i feel like i am doing a great job and that i can go on forever and sometimes i feel like i have to stop and only watch and collect , what makes me continue is the growing number of visitors , so today i want to say a very bigThank You to everyone.

In my journey through films and series i noticed that there r many directors that love to show feet just like our man Tarantino , and to my surprise most of them where female directors , today i begin with Susan Seidelman , she began her work in mid 1980's with independent productions then went to directs Hollywood successful films then her career faded away and the last film she did was in 2005 written by her mother and she produced it herself , celebrating 100.000 visitors each day till the new year i will post a clip from the films of the great Susan Seidelman.
