LAUNCH EVENT | WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE | MIAMI 2010

This event is going to be amazing, and it is the first of many we will be co-branding with the Viceroy. participating DJs include: Clinton Sparks, Kevin Scott, Risk One, Fashen, Evil One, Tina T, Dani Deahl, Morse Code, Mia Moretti, J Sol, Spider and many more... It will be held on the 50th floor, (Club 50) overlooking all of downtown Miami, from noon to 2am on Thursday, March 25th. We will have some additional suprise guest performances as well. The Chicago Zoo was formed in 2006, designed to add a unique and
exciting edge to nightlife entertainment. This DJ / Drummer
combination played for capacity crowds all over the United States
in 2008, and is currently launching a spring tour for 2009. The
enormous musical talents of both artists blend seamlessly to bring
an incredible energy to any event. Their unique sense of style

I have no idea why I never had one of these. Last week, I drove to Shaumburg and Barrington to comb the resale shops, but no luck. Today I have been trying to convert my old ski vest into one. It is not working out so well, as I almost caught myself on fire. If anyone should happen to know where to find one, shout at me...

YOUR PLANET VOL 4. OFFSET YOUR CARBON SUCKER!

I fly more than the average Joe. I was figuring it out the other day, as I was looking at my frequent flyer miles, and decided that i make a significant impact due to my travel. I also ran into this fact: one transatlantic flight for a family of four creates more CO2 than that family generates domestically in an entire year. That made me want to take some action. As a remedy, I have decided to offset my carbon footprint by contributing to The Nature Conservancy which can be found at www.nature.org. They plant trees and invest in non-fossil fuel energy sources such as wind and water power. It doesn't cost much and makes me feel better than drinking a beer. You should do it too...

If i were rich, and if I had a grand foyer in my house, my first move would be to get someone to recreate this big clay Lionel head and put it on a pedestal. That way my guests would see it as soon as they walked in. I think it would set an awesome tone.

SEAN CONNERY IS CRAZY...

Since I was little I have always admired Sean Connery. I feel like the James Bond movies shaped part of my childhood, and to this day, I would see any movie with S.C. in it. I recently found this ad, and wanted to post it as part of my "retro ad of the week series of posts. Then I came across this Barbara Walters interview on you tube and was cracking up. I want to say, that in no way shape or form do I condone hitting women, or anyone for that matter, but the way Connery handles this interview is amazing. It seems like Barbara is trying to put him on the spot, and then it seems like Connery is a bit remorseful for what he said. Then, in true Old School fashion, he says "I haven't changed my opinion..."
