Publix's new coupon policy

2011-06-04T21:30:00.000-04:00

I am very disappointed in the new coupon policy that Publix has put out. The few extreme couponers who abused their leniency have ruined it for the rest of us couponers. My Publix now only takes coupons from: Food Lion, Save-A-Lot, Target, The Fresh Market, Whole Foods Market, and Winn-Dixie. This means I can no longer use those awesome $5/$25 or $3/$15 coupons that CVS or Family Dollar sends out. I will really miss those. They always helped pay for those things such as produce and milk that hardly ever have coupons.

The following is Publix's coupon Policy:
Publix accepts manufacturers’ coupons (limit one per item), Publix coupons (originals only—no copies), valid Internet coupons, and coupons from nearby competitors identified by each Publix store. (Competitor names are posted at each Publix store.) We will accept coupons from competing pharmacies for prescriptions only. We will not accept percent-off-items or percent-off-total-order coupons. We will only accept coupons for identical merchandise we sell. Acceptance is subject to any restrictions on the coupon, and we reserve the right to limit quantities. Manager approval is needed for individual coupons above $5.00. For a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) offer, each item is considered a separate sale. We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item. Dollars-off-total-order coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order. The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented.

Tshirt Review and Giveaway

2011-03-08T21:48:00.003-05:00

Recently, I received tshirts from Crazy Dog Tshirts and their affiliate Nacho Mama Tees. I chose this black Cyberdyne Systems shirt (well, actually my fiance did), which if you didn't know is from Terminator, and this blue Coexist t-shirt. The shirts were both just as they looked in the picture. I was definitely impressed by both companies. The shirts arrived very quickly and in excellent shape. The only thing that disappointed me was the way the shirt fit me. It fit my fiance nicely (he is very thin) but was not as flattering on me, although it may have been the color, since black is naturally flattering. Also, the shirts were a little thin, which for us Floridians is a good thing, but may be a negative for others. I received a lot of compliments for the Coexist shirt. It is such a wonderful message. My fiance is a big Terminator fan so he was thrilled with his shirt. I have washed the shirts several times already and have not seen any signs of fading or wear.

Would you like to win a t-shirt for yourself? Well, you're in luck! One lucky reader will win a T-shirt of their choice from their affiliate CostumeSquad.com. The winner must pick a design priced at $16.99 or less. Make sure you leave a comment for each entry and include your email address. There are several ways to enter including:

Visit CostumeSquad.com and tell me which shirt you would like to win (reminder: must be $16.99 or less)

A Year of Romance

2011-03-08T20:54:00.003-05:00

“Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the man who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you're just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have you.... The one who turns to his friends and says, 'that's her.'” -Author Anonymous.

If you are lucky enough to find this man, don't let the daily grind keep you apart. Keeping romance alive is important to nurturing your relationship. The 52 Weeks of Romance calendar from EdenFantasys can help you do just that. The set includes a romantic or playful suggestion for every day of the year. EdenFantasys is an adult store that can help you keep your love life fresh and exciting. They offer games, books, lingerie, and lots of other things to suit your needs.
