I'm always happy to attend food events especially at a well-establish restaurant such as Gotham Bar and Grill. It makes it even more special when the restaurant creates a program that supports local farmers and a worthy cause. Chef Alfred Portale is known for his passion for using fresh and seasonal ingredients, so it's not surprising that Gotham Bar and Grill is once again launching its "

Beef Stew Rice Noodles Soup

I always have a love for noodles especially in soups. Ever since I was a little girl, I love slurping some chewy and tender noodles along with a rich soup broth. Maybe it was because I grew up in Hong Kong where noodle shops are so readily accessible. You can probably find one in every corner. I crave it ALL the time. It doesn't matter if it's 100 degrees

It's time for another recipe challenge by Marx Food. In celebrating the fresh morel season, Marx Food decided to give out free samples of the dried morels to a few food bloggers to create an original recipe for a friendly competition. As you may know, I love a good recipe challenge, and recipe testing is one of the reasons why I blog. I enjoy playing with ingredients to create something

I can't believe it's been a week since the IACP conference has ended. It feels like it was just yesterday I was at the conference meeting new people and chatting up with old friends. I had the opportunity to listen to some impressive panelists talk about food and its industry. I also attended the culinary expo, book and blog festival. I learned about tea pairing,
