It's been a while since I released a theme, but here you go. The Darkroom theme was created based on Adobe Lightroom and it's various functionality. There ended being a good number of skins for use in any Flex or Apollo app.

Aside from being a UI designer, I ocassionally partake in the textile arts (aka screenprinting). So I thought I'd take advantage of the 4-color screen printer I have and make myself an Apollo t-shirt in anticipation of the release. Recently I went to check out the updates Ning made to their Social Network building engine. After all was said and done I ended up with a Flex 2 social network for Flex enthusiasts to put names to faces of other developers, share video demos of there latest Flex 2 projects, share screen shots and more. Ning made this really easy to do and it took about 5 minutes to get the social network built. Now I just need members. Check it out at http://www.flexcursion.com.

In case you haven't been by scalenine.com lately, I just wanted to mention a couple of small features I've added. There is now a Showcase section dedicated to displaying some great looking/functioning Flex 2 UIs. Some are one's I've come across and others have been submitted to ScaleNine by using the "Suggest an App" form on the Showcase page. The other small feature is the ability to rate your favorite themes/UIs. This is great because it helps me determine what type of theme I'm going to create next.

Things have been rather busy for me lately and it seems it's going to be that way for a bit. So, rather than let ScaleNine sit idle I'm going to start creating a series of pure CSS themes rather than getting into graphics. I was able to create the Moxy theme much quicker than the other graphic based themes and I think it does it's job for a quick solution for a Flex 2 theme.
