Who doesn’t love old doors? These are on a street in Copenhagen and are flanked by a rose on each side. Of course, there is a modern element - note the wall sconce on the right. Somehow it fits aesthetically.

I’ve shown this display in the Invita showroom before from a different angle. It’s a god example of how white is used combined with warm wood and texture to give a furniture-like look. The expanse of white countertop and integrated sink allow this design to have a visual flow.

The kitchen cart is a very useful functional piece in the kitchen. Able to move to create a new work station, it adds both storage and function and looks good too. This was in the Invita showroom in Copenhagen

Doesn’t this look like a dining room in a home rather than in a restaurant? The mix of styles and materials, the accessories and artwork and other elements just look so inviting and UNcontrived compared to so many other restaurants. It’s in a very small Inn on Bornholm, Denmark.

When I go to Denmark I mostly rent apartments. I stayed in this apartment which was in a very old building. The wall panels, old timbers and textured walls add so much charm and warmth. It’s certainly far from luxurious, but luxurious in its own way.
