There was woman named Suzanne who lived in an old house on a cliff overlooking the sea. She was divorced from her husband. Suzanne had been deeply depressed ever since her son Bobby drowned. She was devastated by the loss and felt like she couldn’t go on.

As time went by, Suzanne began reading books about black magic and satanism. The more she read, the more she became immersed in the world of the occult. It was like an addiction. She came across a spell that was supposed to be able to resurrect the dead.

One dark night, she drew a pentagram on the floor of her living room. Lighting some black candles, she stood in the middle of the pentagram and at the stroke of midnight, she read aloud from an ancient satanic book.

“Come fulfill my desire and do my bidding in accordance with my will. I conjure thee in the name of satan to whom all evil is obedient, by which name, the earth is overthrown, the seas turn black, the ground shudders, fire is quenched and all host of things in heaven and hell do tremble. Lucifer, Prince of Darkness, return my son who drowned by accident. Return him to me now, I command thee!”

Afterwards, Suzanne blew out the candles. She collapsed to her knees and began to weep.

All of a sudden, she heard a faint scratching on her front door. Cautiously, she walked over to the door and listened. The scratching grew louder.

“Who’s there?” she cried.

There was a long silence and then she heard a voice whisper, “Mommy?”

Suzanne, opened the door and was shocked to see a small boy crouched on the doorstep. He was soaking wet and shivering with the cold.

“Bobby!” she cried. “It’s you! It’s really you!”

She hurriedly brought him inside and put a towel around him, trying to warm him up. His teeth were chattering and his hands were shaking.

“I was so lonely and desolate without you, Bobby,” she said. “Where were you? What happened?”

“I remember water,” he said, “… cold water… and I couldn’t breathe. I woke up and couldn’t remember who I was…. I walked and walked in the rain… These people found me and they took me in… I didn’t know if I was alive or dead…”

“You’re alive Bobby,” she cried. “You’re really alive!”

“Was I a good boy, Mommy?” Bobby asked.

“Of course you were a good boy,” she replied.

“Did you love me, Mommy?” Bobby asked.

“I do love you,” she replied. “From the bottom of my heart”.

“Were you nice to me, Mommy?” Bobby asked.

“Of course I was,” she said.

Bobby stared at her. It was a mean, angry stare and there was a spiteful sneer on his face. It frightened Suzanne.

“I want to play a game with you, Mommy!” he cried. “Hide and seek!”

All of a sudden, he raced up the stairs. All of the lights in the house went out.

“Bobby, what are you doing?” she cried. “Where are you?”

There was no answer.

“Bobby, stop this!” she cried. “I want you to come right back here. Bobby, please don’t do this to Mommy. Bobby, for the last time, what are you doing?”

Just then, she heard the boy’s voice coming from the darkness.

“Aren’t you glad the lights are out, Mommy?” he said. “It makes the game more fun!”

“You’re going to hurt yourself in the dark,” Suzanne replied.

Suzanne cautiously walked up the stairs, feeling her way in the darkness. When she got to the top, she looked around, straining her eyes to see.

“Bobby, stop this now!” she shouted. “You’re making Mommy very angry!”

All of a sudden, the door burst open and Bobby was standing there, cackling like a maniac. In his hand, he held a long, sharp kitchen knife.

“Let’s play hide and seek now, Mommy!” he shrieked.

Suzanne recoiled in horror. Backing away, she tripped and went tumbling down the stairs. When she landed at the bottom, she looked up and saw her son coming down the stairs with the knife raised above his head.

“You lied, Mommy!” he said. “Bobby didn’t really drown by accident. You knew that! Bobby drowned himself! He couldn’t stand the way you treated him and he killed himself just to get away from you! Don’t you see? Bobby didn’t want to come back, Mommy. No… Bobby hates you, Mommy. He didn’t want to come back, so he sent ME instead…”

Just then, there was a flash of lightning and it lit up the house. For one terrible moment, Suzanne saw the face of the thing that had come back instead of Bobby…

My name is Tommy and I think I might be going insane. I grew up in normal middle-class home with loving parents and a sweet little sister. Everything seemed fine, until one day when something very strange happened.

I came home from school and when I walked into the living room, I saw something that disturbed me. My mother and father were sitting on the couch, smiling and staring at the TV. The weird thing was that the TV wasn’t on, yet they were staring at it intently. They both turned to look at me and simultaneously said, “Hello Timmy”.

She smiled at me and said, “No, Timmy. Mom and Dad are just perfect”.

My blood suddenly ran cold.

Without another word, I backed out of the room. She was still smiling at me as I closed the door. I had no idea what to do. I couldn’t shake the sneaking suspicion that there was something wrong with my entire family. I went into my bedroom and tried to think.

I heard my mother coming up the stairs. She went into her bedroom and closed the door. I decided to spy on her, so I went into the hallway and peeked through her keyhole. What I saw terrified me.

My mother was changing clothes. She was standing with her back to me and I immediately noticed something very shocking. Her skin was very pale and there was a zipper that ran all the way down her back. Whatever she was, she wasnâ€t my mom.

That’s when the panic set in. I ran down the stairs and out the front door. As I was dashing down the driveway, I looked back and saw my father at the front door. He was on all fours, growling like an animal howling and chasing after me, like an raging demon.

Since then Iâ€ve been on the run. All I can do is keep moving. Now that I know their secret, they can’t afford to let me live. I keep moving from place to place, begging on the street for spare change.

I tried to go to the police, but they wouldn’t believe me. They said I was a runaway and tried to bring me back to my parents. I just narrowly managed to escape. I tried to go to the media, but every reporter I spoke to just laughed in my face.

I’m tired of running. I’m pretty sure they killed my real family. My only reason for living now is to get revenge.

When the police finally arrived at the house, they were too late to save Nancy. She was nowhere to be found. The door of her bedroom had been smashed and the pieces lay strewn about the floor.

After checking the security cameras, the police determined that she had been abducted by her 27-year old boyfriend, Gabriel Rosales.

Meanwhile, in the abandoned house, the real Gabriel was distraught beyond belief. He managed to find a loose floorboard and got out through the crawlspace. He discovered that the house was located in the middle of the woods. He tried to phone the police, but he couldn’t get a signal. When he checked Google maps, it couldn’t find his location.

Gabriel began walking through the woods. He hiked for several kilometers until he found a house with the lights on. He went up to the front door and knocked. After a few minutes, a woman’s face peered out the window.

As Gabriel desperately tried to explain the situation, the woman’s eyes grew wide with fright. She let out a piercing scream.

“Please!” Gabriel whined, “You’ve got to help me!”

Just then, the front door opened and a man appeared from the darkness, holding a rifle in his hand. Gabriel turned and ran as fast as he could. As he dashed for the cover of the trees, he heard the sound of gunfire behind him and felt the bullets whizzing past his head.

Gabriel ran until he was out of breath. He tripped over a fallen log and his feet got tangled up in the branches. He fell and hit his head one a stone. Blood began to flow from the open wound and it soaked his whole face. He grabbed the cell phone and activated the camera in selfie mode, so he could see the extent of his injuries.

What he saw made him shake with fear and the cell phone fell from his hands.

Finally, he understood why the woman in the house had screamed with such horror.

The strange creature had taken his appearance, and in return it had left him with its own.

Today, Gabriel travels by night, hiding in the shadows, his face and body transformed forever into that of an abominable being, still wondering what it was that attacked him and stole away his girlfriend, and hoping one day to get revenge…

My little sister Zoe is 13 now. I really love her and I think I owe her my life. I was 7 years old when she was born. I was so excited to finally have a little sister.

At first, I was jealous that she was getting all the attention from my parents and I didn’t pay much attention to her. Sometimes I was just downright mean to her. However, all that changed on the day I realized my little sister had a special talent.

We were sitting on the couch, watching TV, when Zoe suddenly said, “Daddy isn’t coming home.”

I was confused. “What did you say?” I asked.

“Daddy isn’t coming home,” she repeated.

I was quite unnerved by this and tried to question her further, but she wouldn’t say anything more.

About half an hour later, the phone rang. When I answered, there was a police officer on the other end and he sounded gravely serious. He explained that there had been a traffic accident. My mother was in hospital with relatively minor injuries, but my father had not been so lucky. He died on the way to the hospital.

The next few hours were a blur. I just switched off the TV and sat there in shock, staring at the blank screen. I was numb. They said Zoe was too young to grasp the situation, but she understood that dad was gone and he wasn’t coming back.

Almost a year later, there was another incident. It was a nice, warm, summer day and Zoe and I were in the park. Zoe was playing on the grass when, all of a sudden, she stopped and pointed at something.

“There’s a bad man over there,” she said. “We need to go.”

When I looked in the direction she was pointing, I saw a man nearby. He was dressed in a grey hooded sweatshirt. He had his hands in his pockets and seemed to be waiting for someone, but something about him seemed strange.

With the memory of our father’s death still fresh in my mind, I didn’t question Zoe. I just grabbed her by the hand and together we hurried home.

The next morning, at breakfast, my mother was reading the newspaper and I noticed the headline on the front page. “Mother and Daughter Stabbed to Death in Park”. Beneath it, there was a picture of police leading away a man in handcuffs. It was the man in the grey hooded sweatshirt.

A chill ran down my spine. Any doubts I had before were immediately quashed. My little sister definitely had a talent.

From that day on, I listened carefully to anything she had to say and I would write it down in a notebook I kept in my room.

One day, when Zoe was 6 years old, it happened again. We were at a restaurant when Zoe suddenly dropped her knife and fork, looked at my mother and I and said, “Grandpa’s gone.”

An hour later, my mother got a phone call telling her that our grandfather had passed away in his sleep. Mom was very sad but she had been prepared for the bad news. That was the last prediction for a long time.

As the years passed by, I gradually forgot about my sister’s talent. It got to the point where I began to dismiss it all as just coincidence.

However, last week, when my girlfriend and I were spending some time together in our apartment, I got a text message. It was from Zoe.

Zoe: I need to tell you something

Me: What is it?

Zoe: I need you to listen to me.
Zoe: I have a terrible feeling
Zoe: Something is going happen.
Zoe: You and Megan need to get out of there.
Zoe: Go to a hotel or something
Zoe: Just get out of there.

Me: Why? What’s going on

Zoe: I don’t know.
Zoe: I told you what I know
Zoe: That’s all I know

I immediately grabbed my girlfriend, forced her to pack some things in a suitcase and rushed her out of the apartment. We went to a nearby hotel and booked a room for the night.

The next morning, I got a call from our neighbor. He said our apartment had been broken into, but strangely nothing had been taken. When he heard strange noises, he called the police and they arrested the intruder.

We had to go down to the police station. Apparently Meganâ€s mentally unstable ex-boyfriend had broken into our apartment. He was armed with a knife and he was planning to kill both of us.

When my girlfriend heard that, she was utterly dumbfounded. All she could say was, “How did your sister know?”

Without Zoe, we would both probably be dead. It still haunts me. Nobody else believes it and even my girlfriend is still skeptical, but I know what happened.

My little sister has a talent.

Dad: Hey Son.

Dad: Sorry I can’t be there. I was delayed on business.
Dad: It’s only for one night. I’ll be home tomorrow.
Dad: Are you sure you’re OK on your own?

Dad: He listened to all the noises throughout the house.

Dad: The cries of his baby brother in the next room.
Dad: The soft patter of the rain outside.

Son: This story is putting me to sleep

Dad: Finally, he heard his dad’s footsteps coming up the stairs.
Dad: “Hey Dad?” Colby called out nervously.
Dad: “Can I talk to you for a minute?”
Dad: In the darkness, he saw the bedroom door slowly creak open.
Dad: His dad stuck his head through the doorway.
Dad: “Yes, son” said his dad in a muffled voice.
Dad: “Are you okay, Dad?” the boy asked.
Dad: “Yes, Son,” his dad replied.
Dad: “Ummm… Is Mom around?”
Dad: “Here I am!” said his mom in a high-pitched voice.
Dad: She stuck her head through the doorway as well.
Dad: “What do you want to tell us?” she asked.
Dad: “Um… I think I made a big mistake,” said Colby.
Dad: “I accidentally gave our address to someone on the internet”
Dad: “Oh, you shouldn’t have done that!” said his mom.
Dad: “We told you never to do that!”
Dad: “Who did you give it to?” asked his dad.
Dad: “Um… this kid named StrangerDanger23,” said Colby.
Dad: “Oh, but he wasn’t really a kid!” said his mom.
Dad: “He just pretended to be a kid to fool you.”
Dad: “And do you know what he did?”
Dad: “He broke into our house and murdered both of us!”
Dad: “Just so he could spend some time with you!”

Son: Oh God!

Dad: All of a sudden, the door opened wide.
Dad: A fat man in a yellow raincoat stood there in the doorway.
Dad: He was holding something in his hands.
Dad: The severed heads of Colby’s mom and dad.
Dad: Colby gasped and let out a shriek of terror.
Dad: The man dropped the heads on the floor and took out his knife

Dad: After several hours, the boy was almost dead.
Dad: His terrified screams had become pitiful whimpers.
Dad: Then the killer noticed something.
Dad: He heard the baby crying in the other room
Dad: He bent down and pulled his knife out of the
Dad: Bloody mess that had once been Colby.
Dad: Then he turned and followed the sound of the baby’s cries.
Dad: When he got to the nursery, he walked up to the crib
Dad: He picked the baby up and held it in his arms.
Dad: The baby stopped crying. It looked up at him and smiled.
Dad: The man had never held a baby before.
Dad: He stroked the baby’s cheek
Dad: He walked out of the nursery and took the baby with him.
Dad: He took the baby home and raised him as his very own son.
Dad: He named him “William”.

Son: But Dad… my name is William.

Dad: I know it is, Son.
Dad: Son?
Dad: Will?
Dad: William?
Dad: You still there, Son?
Dad: Was that story scary enough for you?
Dad: Want to hear another?

One evening, when I was in my junior year of high school, my mom and dad went out, leaving me home alone. I had a lot of homework to do, so I spent the whole evening sitting at the desk in my bedroom.

My parents left the house around 6 PM. While I was doing my homework, I put on my headphones and listened to loud music. There was a big storm that night and my desk was facing the window, so I could see the rain and the lightning outside.

My parents got back around 11 PM. When I saw their car drive up, I took off the headphones. As soon as my mom opened the front door and came inside, I heard heard her shout my name.

“What on earth happened in here!?” she demanded in an angry voice.

Confused, I ran downstairs. My mom was standing in the hallway with a furious look on her face. She pointed at the floor and yelled, “Was this you!?”

I looked down and saw that the carpet was covered in muddy footprints.

“I have no idea how those got there,” I said. “I spent the whole night at my desk, doing my homework.”

I watched as the look on her face changed from anger to confusion, and then to fear. We both realized it at the same time. Someone else must have been in the house.

We followed the trail of footprints, trying to make sense of the whole situation. They started at the back door, which we usually left unlocked. Then we noticed something else. The footprints started at the backdoor, but there was no trail of footprints leaving through the back door.

All of a sudden, we hear something a loud, pounding noise that echoed throughout house. Then, the sound of the front door being wrenched open and slammed shut again. WHAM!

We all ran into the garage and locked the door behind us. My mom took out her cell phone and called the police.

“Please come quickly!” she shouted. “Someone’s in our house!”

After what seemed like hours, a patrol car arrived with two police officers, a male and a female. One officer stayed with us in the garage while his partner went through the house, searching it room by room. When she came back, the female officer told us that there was no one in the house and it was safe to go back in.

As we were all breathing a sigh of relief, she asked, “Whose bedroom is upstairs on the left?”

My parents looked at me.

“It’s mine,” I told the officer.

She asked us to follow her. As we walked through the house, we could see the trail of muddy footprints leading from the back door, through the living room, through the hallway, up the stairs, into my parents’ bedroom and then towards my room. They stopped at my doorway.

The female officer pointed at my door, which had been open the whole night. Scrawled on it, in black marker, was the following:

For more than two hours, someone had been standing in my doorway, watching me. To this day, I still shudder to think what would have happened if I had turned around…

1. The Buckley Family

As the story goes, Susan & John Buckley decided to kill their mother as a Halloween prank and chop off her head with an axe. When the police arrived, the children were long gone and the only evidence they left behind was this photo of them holding their mother’s severed head.

However, this photograph is a fake. In the original picture, as you can see, the mother’s head is not cut off.

2. Farewell Audience

This is a photo of the audience on a Japanese psychic TV show. The woman’s face is deathly pale and her head is twisted at an impossible angle. This became a famous ghost photo in Japan and was featured in a number of paranormal magazines and TV shows. The woman is real, but someone photoshopped the picture to make her face seem more white and her neck seem more twisted than it is. You can see the original photo here:

3. Expressionless Woman

The story claims this is a picture of a woman who showed up at Cedar Senai Hospital in 1972. However, that’s not true. It is a picture of two student nurses and a waxwork dummy used for training. The picture was taken by photographer Lord Snowdon in 1968 for his book “Assignments”.

4. Cooper Family Falling Body Photo

According to this legend, when the Cooper family moved into their new house, they took some photographs at a family gathering. When they got the pictures developed, they noticed this shocking ghostly image of a body falling from the ceiling.

Unfortunately, this photo is a fake. It was created in photoshop.

5. Japanese School Photo

Look closely. Do you notice anything wrong with this photo?

Of course you do. Look at that Japanese kid in the middle! His face is screwed up! He is clearly some sort of human-alien hybrid… An alien replicon from beyond the moon!

But the disappointing truth is, someone was just having fun with photoshop. Here is the original photo:

6. Three Boys

According to the legend, in the 1950s, three boys came across an abandoned house in the woods. When they went inside, they found a hole in the ground filled with water. Two of them went swimming while the third took pictures with his camera. 30 years later, their camera was found by a man who was hiking in the woods. He took it to the police and they had the film developed. This was the final photograph taken with the camera and nobody knows what happened to the boys’ faces. They simply disappeared and their bodies were never found.

The story is false, but I haven’t been able to determine the origin of the photo yet.

7. The Bunny Man Killer

This picture has been circulating with a caption claiming it was found in 1982 in a dumpster behind a restaurant in Georgia. The implication is that this is a photo of a woman being murdered by a man in a bunny suit.

However, the story is fake. If you look closely, you can see the woman is wearing a chicken mask. The original image was taken by a photographer named Eliot Lee Hazel in 2010 as part of a collection called the Poppy Field Gang. Someone used photoshop to make it appear older and grainier.

8. Charlie Noonan

A man named Charlie Noonan travelled across the Southwestern United States collecting folklore. He heard a strange story from a farmer about a woman that lived in the panhandle. He said the woman was not a woman at all, but a creature that masqueraded as a woman and hid its true nature beneath a headscarf. Charlie Noonan was intrigued and went looking for this woman, but he was never seen again. Years later when his camera was found, this was the only photo on the roll.

9. Costume Party

This is said to be the only known photograph of a vicious, unidentified killer. On Halloween night, in 1962, the man in the black mask supposedly gatecrashed a costume party, locking all the doors and attempting to murder every one of the guests with a kitchen knife. He killed 7 people and fled the scene. The man was never caught and the FBI still has the black mask in an evidence locker.

This story is not true. This is just a vintage Halloween picture that has been on the internet for years. Someone saw it and decided to make up a legend about it.
