Anyone who has listened to salsa music already knows that it is one of the best types of music to dance to. During this dance, you should have a strong feel of romance, yet creating the energy that will help you climax to an epic dance. The sassy mixture of romance and energy is the perfect remedy for the dance, commonly done by two dancers facing each other on the dance floor. In most cases, it is brought out perfectly in the Spanish dialect, and has a lot of similarity to the Brazilian, Afro-Cuban and Cuban rumba dance, which is yet another common style of dance.

There is also the love of handcrafted jewelry. Today we have an artisan, having studied fine art in college, who has taken her gift of artistic expression and applied it to beadweaving. And, she has some pieces with pretty vibrant colors, as you can see in this photo. Ms. Petersen's enthusiasm about her art is contagious and makes one want to pick up the art, themselves, or go dust off the enjoyment of their youth and start creating something and expressing the art that is within themselves.

A light graffiti or light painting is a photography technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera in various directions. It can also include images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources.

Unlike projection bombing, light graffiti can sometimes be produced as performance art. Sometimes it can also be created to capture photography and videos, while its ability to create a greater, more enhanced viewing experience is slowly being recognized by the people around.

The top 10 artists mentioned below can also be considered to be some of the most talented people in the field of light art.

Patrick Rochon

Rochon is well-known for creating stunning images by moving bits of light through various mediums and capturing that movement with the help of photography and video cameras. His light paintings are unique and are well recognised by innovative artists. He also uses lasers to illuminate his subjects in ways that create an eerie feeling. He has infact given light painting a whole new dimension by performing it on giant screens.

Michael Bosanko

Bosanko has taken to light painting with a series called “We Come in Peace” in which figures constructed of light seem to interact with the surroundings in an almost surreal way. The figures are almost comical, funny and highly engaging. The paintings include giant spiders, alien rocks around spaceships, light figure skate-boating on a ramp and many others.

Lichtfaktor

It’s a German group that is well-known for producing some of the best light graffiti, transforming everyday objects like phone booths, street signs and trash cans into live creatures that seem to be waving their hands and jumping from one street to another. The team comprises of talents like Marcel Panne, David L’pschen and Tim Fehske who have joined hands to present the world with their entertaining skills.

Cenci Goepel and Jens Warnecke

These German artists create stark imagery giving a ghostly appearance to the beauties of nature. The natural backdrop is used to create glowing organic forms made of moving light.

Eric Staller

His paintings were created between 1976 and 1980 in the city of New York giving a brand new look to the Big Apple. These were created using light exposures with a variety of light sources, sometimes in the form of 3D lit installations.

Sola

An UK based photographer Sola is better known for experiments with flow, form and movement in the series called “Embro” and “Solid Trace”. Embro seeks to explore how light is captured in photographs and can seem just as organic as anything else around us.

Ryan Warnberg and Michelle McSwain

These two artists together are known as the MTI, a group that creates light paintings. This means that they can immortalise your event with their colourful creations, may they be parties, ad campaigns or any form of special events. They are known for creating “Kaleidoscopic” images that invoke old portraits of religious figures.

Alan Jaras

He creates spell-binding images from passing streams of light created through moulded and textured plastic shapes. These shapes are placed in front of the camera as lens and directly captured on 35mm films.

Dean Chamberlain

Developed in 1977 and known as “Psychedelic Pioneers” Dean Chamberlain creates images using extremely long exposures in sessions that can last as long as 5 hours.

Toby Keller

Part of the Burn Blue Photography in design, Keller uses free-flowing forms of light to create beautiful natural photography, making it buzz with life.

There are various other well-known artists and groups who are also known for their creative talents in the field of light photography. In case you have a keen interest you can start studying more on them.

Although pop music ruled the 1980’s, hardcore rock was also one of the biggest genres that people listened to. Rock bands did whatever they could to stand out from others, including incorporating interesting art in their album covers. This resulted in some of the most unique album covers the world has ever seen.

Iron Maiden Leaves the Competition in the Dust

English heavy metal albums had some of the coolest jackets in the 1980s. Iron Maiden's eponymous 1980 record introduced the world to Eddie as well as a new wave of heavy metal infused with more of a punk rock sound. Collectors with an affinity for the undead mascot should also have a look at the single release of Sanctuary. The single's cover featured him standing over the body of the British prime minister, which might be seen as edgy even by today's standards.

Rod Smallwood and Derek Riggs really went to town on Powerslave in 1984. Hardcore fantasy paintings usually don't find their way onto the covers of rock albums, but the Ancient Egyptian burial sequence seen on the front of this record has been burned into the eyes of music fans everywhere. The cover was so influential that Egyptian patterns have been spotted on Nicko McBrain's drums at live shows.

The gong looks like a very simple form of instrument, but there is actually much more to it than meets the eye. The gong is actually a very important part of any orchestra, but many people think that it is only a minor addition because it doesn't get very many parts. However, almost every time the gong is played is during a suspenseful or exciting part of the music, which is typically the most important part of any song. Sometimes the gong is even used as a transitional part, which would make the song fall apart without it.

Gong Sizes
The size of a gong is vital to the way that it will sound. A larger gong will have more of a boomy, crashy noise, while small gongs will be quieter and will add more of a harmonic part to a piece of music. Small gongs are just as important as large ones in the fact that they are required for certain types of music.

Gong Styles
There are two main forms of gong styles -- suspended and bowled. Suspended gongs are the flat style that is literally suspended from somewhere, which is how they got the name in the first place. These are typically large gongs, so you won't see very many suspended small gongs.
The other style, bowled gongs, are the type of gongs that usually sit on the ground or a special cushion of sorts. Unlike suspended gongs, a mallet isn't always required to play a bowl gong. Players can just use their finger to rub the rim to emit a sound. You will typically see small gongs as bowled gongs, but just like with suspended gongs, they come in both sizes.

Gong Metals
Gongs are typically made of either brass or copper. This doesn't really affect the sound much, which is why they are made of these similar metals. Gongs are hammered metal, which is not an extremely precise way of creating an instrument but it is the only way to get them into the correct shape. Minor differences can be heard in every gong, but it is very unlikely that the human ear would be able to pick it up.

Conclusion
Gongs come in all shapes and sizes. There are small gongs, large gongs, flat gongs, bowled gongs, and many more other shapes and sizes! Different gongs produce different sounds, which is why you may use several different ones in various pieces of music.

Have you ever wondered why only few colors look great on you? Why the same blue shade looks great on your sister but doesn’t give the same effect for you? Yes, even I wondered several times why the hot red looks great on me and why not on my best friend! Every person has a different skin tone and these are divided into “seasons”.

First stand in front of a mirror and try to identify in natural light whether your undertones are warm or cool, with the help of a white sheet under your face as this does not reflect color. If you have yellow, olive or gold then you have a warm undertone and pinks and purples come under cooler undertones. Depending upon the undertones now let’s check out which season you fall under.

Winter: People with dark eyes and dark hair come under this season. Brunettes and at times blondes with dark eye color, olive tones with purplish undertones fall under this category. Opt for bright colors such as fuchsia pink, white, scarlet red, black, navy blue. These colors bring out your inner vibrant glow and make you feel different. Jewel tones look amazing and avoid neutral colors such as tan, beige etc.

Summers: These are flattered by icy and shiny colors. Almost all have natural blonde or light brown hair with light colored eyes. They may also have a slight pinkish tone. Go for colors like rose, lavender, aqua, greys, plum. These colors look amazing while orange and black may not suit. So choose colors with blue undertones and enhance your skin tone.

Autumn: It is the most varied of the categories. If the skin has golden or reddish undertones with golden brown eyes then they come under this category. They should choose vibrant warm colors with golden undertones, like orange, warm greys, gold, camel, beige and avoid blue tones.

Spring: This category usually have light blue or blue-green eyes with strawberry-blond, light brunette, fair skin with an even complexion. Soft colors like golden brown, peach or bright red do wonders. Try to avoid dark and dull colors.

The above-mentioned are the four types of skin tones and make sure you know the type of skin tone you have. Pick colors which enhance your skin and surprise yourself with the change. Colors definitely flatter your tone, to bring out the best and to look as well as feel great; you must follow the chart or else you might end up looking like disaster. Always keep in mind, the shades which suit you and select those while shopping and if you like that particular outfit and if it adapts well to your skin, then do not have second thoughts and purchase that immediately. If finances are low then take same day cash loans which are short-term loans that credit cash instantly and shop till your heart desires without any financially crunches.

Though most people do not think about it, there is a lot that can be said about music. Most people think that it is only a form of entertainment, but in fact, music can be used for much more than that. For instance, the fact that it can affect one’s thought processes means that music can be used to influence many aspects of one’s life. This in turn makes it one of the best ways to deal with the problems of day-to-day life. The soothing effects of music can be used for many things, including the following.

With the holidays approaching come holiday parties and events. Events where one wants to look their best. Part of looking your best includes looking like a celebrity without having to pay the price that a celebrity may pay to get it. Oh, it is true that many of us would love to be pampered and sit and relax with a glass of cool bubbly while the makeup artist performs their magic and makes us look like a million dollars, but many people do not have that luxury, nor the million dollars. And, with this economy, even those who do have the luxury may not want to spend excessive money on the holiday look when they don't need to spend that kind of money to get it.
