Mark O’Byrne presents wildlife Everglades-style in “Day at Alligator Creek.” I’m hoping he was fully zoomed in on several of those shots – you don’t ever want to get too close to a gator.

AVP Films presents Florida Impressions, a fresh look at the Florida west coast town of Clearwater. I don’t get to the west coast of the state all that often, but this short tempts me to go. I really want to captain the pirate ship.

Talented filmmaker Joey Springer demonstrates the Letus FE 35mm adapter in a measured take on Downtown Winter Garden. This short has a nice soft palette and shows off the Downtown area really well on a sunny Fall day. Look for the Webkinz reference. Nice.

Shrimp Creole Surf brings us November HD, a smooth-grooved stoke-filled surf feast in South Florida. Filmed in November 2008.

Hurricane Bill brought big waves to the Jacksonville Beach Pier on Aug. 22, 2009, and Scene from Florida HD was there to catch it. On film, of course.

Scene from Florida HD recently went for a walk with about 1,000 other people and their pets during the Trail of Tails 2009 Pet Walk and Festival, presented by the Jacksonville Humane Society. The first-time event was held at Friendship Fountain Park on the St. Johns River, and the 1.5 mile walking trail wound through the Southbank, but the main draw was, of course, the doogies.
