February Club Meeting

The next monthly meeting of the Scenic City Volks Folks will be held on Monday, February 20th. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7PM sharp. We meet at Wally's Restaurant on Ringgold Road in East Ridge. Visitors are always welcome!

February Cruise-In

Our February Cruise-In will be held on Friday, February 3rd at CiCi's Pizza in Ft. Oglethorpe. We will meet at 7PM. Everyone is welcome.

Polar Bear Run Rescheduled

Our Polar Bear Run has been rescheduled for this Saturday, January 28th. This is a fun, informal cruise that will last about an hour and a half to two hours. Instructions will be given out at the starting point. We will end up at Champy's Chicken for lunch around 11:30.

We will meet at 9:30 AM at Sportsmans Warehouse on Lee Highway at the 153 exit and roll out at 10:00 AM sharp. This weekend's weather promises to be much better, so please come out and join us! You don't have to drive a VW to participate. Everyone is welcome.

Polar Bear Run

UPDATE: The 2nd annual Polar Bear Run for tomorrow has been postponed, due to a bad weather forecast. We plan to do it next week, so stay tuned for the details!

January Volks Folks Club Meeting

January Cruise-In at Pin Strikes

Our January Cruise-In will be held this Friday, January 6th, at Pin Strikes, Lee Highway and Highway 153. We'll meet around 7pm in the restaurant, which is located toward the back of the building. From there you can go do any number of activities or just "cruise" in the restaurant and play pool.

There is a $5 cover charge, however this cover charge "voucher" can be used for any purchase towards food or activities.

Volks Folks Christmas Party

For our December club meeting, we will once again have our annual Christmas Party on Monday, December 19th. This year, we will meet at Wally's at 6:30 PM for dinner and fun.

If you plan to attend, please bring a wrapped unmarked gift (limit $10). We will exchange them in a "Chinese Auction" style. If you are bringing a child, please be sure to bring an age appropriate gift for exchange.

Share Your Christmas Food Drive

As part of our yearly Volks Folks tradition, we will be participating in the WRCB 25th Annual Share Your Christmas Food Drive on Friday, December 9th.

We will meet around 5:30-5:45 PM in the parking lot of Honest Charley's Speed Shop and then cruise to the First Tennessee Pavilion together. We will arrive at the Pavilion at 6:00 and are scheduled to go on the air between 6:05 and 6:15.

After driving through, we will cruise to Blacksmith's Bistro and Grill in St. Elmo for dinner.

November Volks Folks Meeting

November Volks Folks Cruise-In

Join us on Friday, November 4th at the Sonic Drive-In on East Brainerd Road for our November Cruise In. Bring a chair or two and hang out with us, we will meet at 7:00 PM.

If it's too cold to sit outside, we will move inside to the KFC next door. Everyone is welcome!
