This scholarship has been endowed  by the late Mr W Gordon Morrison  and Mrs Morrison in memory of their son  Brian, a past Chairman of the  Engineering Society.&lt;br /&gt;
The endowment  specifies an annual award to engineering students  attending the  University of Canterbury, particularly overseas  engineering students,  who are considered likely in their future lives  to promote and foster  racial tolerance, co-operation, and  understanding, which Brian Morrison  during his lifetime and while a  student at university earnestly sought.&lt;br /&gt;

The School of Science and Engineering at Reykjavík University is  looking for candidates to lead the academic program within the Reykjavík  Energy Graduate School of Sustainable Systems (REYST).  We are looking  for a person with an interest in and knowledge of sustainable energy  systems.  The candidate should have a Ph.D. in engineering or natural science.  Industry experience is beneficial, but not essential.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The REYST program is a cooperative effort between Reykjavík University and Reykjavík Energy.  It offers a program of graduate studies &lt;span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD12"&gt;leading&lt;/span&gt; to a MS degree in sustainable energy science or a MS degree in sustainable energy engineering.  The REYST program is based on a broad foundation where all &lt;span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD9"&gt;students&lt;/span&gt; are required to take classes on energy technology, geoscience and energy &lt;span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD5"&gt;economics&lt;/span&gt; before specializing further.  The REYST program has strong industrial ties and emphasises professional rigour.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;li&gt;    &lt;span style="font-size: 10px;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"&gt;Liaising with the ECIU’s representative in   Brussels to support the representative in developing an internal ECIU   network for EU Liaison staff; to monitor work carried out and to support   in prioritisation of work tasks when required.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

Candidate profile&lt;br /&gt;
Candidates must have a PhD degree in Life Sciences, preferably  Veterinary Medicine with a strong background in gross and microscopic  morphology.&lt;br /&gt;
Necessary skills: solid experimental background illustrated by  publications, team player with a sense of initiative and responsibility,  excellent verbal and written English communication skills, ability to  obtain independent funding.&lt;br /&gt;
