Superman VS Batman, Who Would Win?

EW took note of DC’s 75th anniversary with the classic question, who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman?

Of course this has been covered more than once in the comics (most famously here) but the controversy still rages.

Supes has strength, speed, invulnerability, can breath ice blasts, shoot lasers from his eyes, and can fly, all depending on what ret-con we are talking about, of course.

Batman has… well, uh, a belt? gadgets? A kick-ass ride? A boy sidekick?

If you agree with those statements, you don’t know guano about the Batman. He is the goddamned smartest man in the world – and that includes Superman.

Well, he might not be the smartest man in the entire world, but he must be close. He does have a genius level intellect. He is also a master tactician, a master martial artist, has peak human strength, and a photographic memory.

Sure, if Superman went all LeGarrette Blount on Batman, and took him by suprise there would be no contest. But if Wayne had even a bit of prep, forget about it.

Bottom line – as long as Kryptonite exists (or CAN exist) Batman will figure out a way to win. END OF STORY.
