The 30 second commercial for Star Trek, the movie, showed up online. It will be aired on TV during the Super Bowl. It contains both footage from the theatrical trailer with footage that was never showed before.

The commercial will be showed on TV during Super Bowl XLIII, in a match between Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers, which starts at 6PM (EST) on February 1st.

Dark Knight Sequel Might Be Released In 2011

It seems that Dark Knight’s sequel will be released in 2011, according to Michael Uslan, the producer. He said it to Courier-Post, claiming that it might be released as soon as 2011. No word on who will play in it though.

Uslan will be onboard as executive producer for the "Dark Knight" sequel, which he estimates will be theaters by 2011. As for the identity of the next round of Batman’s supervillains and love interests, Uslan remains tight-lipped. "It’s one of those deals where if I told you, I’d have to kill you," he says with a chuckle.

Warehouse 13, A First Look

What you see below is the first photo of the warehouse from the Warehouse 13 TV series. Warehouse 13 will be released in July 2009, with filming set to begin in February. So far, SCI FI has ordered 11 hours to be produced. This series will star Eddie McClintock, Saul Rubinek and Joanne Kelly.

The two main characters of Warehouse 13 are two agents of the Secret Service. They find themselves being transferred to a secret facility called Warehouse 13, after they save the life of the president. This warehouse is full of artifacts that are strange or mysterious, that were collected in time by the US government.

Robert Carlyle

Robert Carlyle will play the role of Dr. Nicholas Rush, the leader of the survivors that get stuck on the ancient ship in Stargate Universe.

Some of his movies include The Full Monty, Trainspotting, 28 Weeks Later and many more.

Justin Louis will play the role of Col. Everett Young, who is a Stargate team leader.

He played in the The Andromeda Strain and Hidden Hills along with many others TV series and movies.

John Scalzi, A Consultant For Stargate Universe

John Scalzi, a freelance writer and novelist has been hired by the producers of the future TV series, Stargate Universe, to help the directors and producers with the direction where the show is going. He isn’t writing any of the episodes, but will advise them whenever his opinion is needed.

Some of the novels written by John Scalzi include The Android’s Dream, The Last Colony or Old Man’s War.

A “Jericho” Movie Is Planned

If you’re a fan of the Jericho TV series, you should be in heaven right now. Jon Turtletaub, a director and producer, announced that they are currently working on a Jericho movie.

“We’re developing a feature for ‘Jericho’. It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it get into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full on American version of what’s going on beyond the town in Jericho.”

The cast will be the same one like in the TV series and the budget will be substantial as well.

Right now the shows can be seen on CW, Sunday nights. According to the same Turtletaub, if it’s successful there, they might consider bringing it back for another series.
