AWESOME NIGHT AT SCOUTS!

2011-06-07T08:36:00.002+10:00

Now who would have thought that these 5 lil' fabric items would get a 13 year old so excited. Yep last night DS#1 received his first lot of Scout Badges. He is off to camp this long weekend and required his Scout Craft badge before going. He was nervous but completed it all with flying colours and now has the badge to prove it.

Now.....mum has to get the sewing needles out to attach these lil' items to his shirt. But just thought I would share a proud "mummy" moment..

Have a great Tuesday

Busy Bee's in our household

2011-06-06T11:56:00.008+10:00

Now if you keep up to date with my facebook page then you will know that I love taking photographs. And been recently enjoying taking them of car badges.

My eldest son is always out spotting with me all the cars which I don't have them to add to the collection and yesterday while out at Orion he spotted this beautiful Lotus.

We got a photo of the badge but couldn't resist a photograph of him in front of this very expensive piece of machinery. We even had a giggle from passer by's while we were taking this shot. I guess it isn't something you see every day down at the local shopping centre.

Now we have been very busy in our HUGE yard we have now and hubby decided that we needed a tap down near the greenhouse, which was a great idea. But our 4 girls decided that filling in the trench was a bad idea.

So as hubby was filling they were kicking all the dirt out as fast as they could lol.. In the end we had to put these naughty lil girls into their pen so we could at least finish the job and make the place look decent.

Check them out, naughty things.. But they are still providing us some yummy eggs, 4 a day mmmm. So I can't get too upset with them lol

Now for more animals.. It is very hard work snuffling around the yard, marking everywhere & chasing the chickens when you get the chance. But always lovely to snuggle up with daddy for an evening of staying warm and getting daddy cuddles. Look at them, both lazing around watching a spot of TV

As some of you know my boys are simply loving being out here at Greenbank and has been the best move we ever made.

A couple of months ago the boys indicated they wouldn't mind trying Scouts out as friends at school also participated.

Wow! We thought yeah they will like it for a lil' while and then nup don't wanna go... But to our surprise they are loving it.

Even today the uniform is on the beds ready for this afternoon's adventure down to the Teviot Scout Group. We have tried the Karate, Soccer, Gymnastics + other sports. But they just never warmed to it completely. But I think we are on with a winner this time.

Mmmmmmm nice and warm. We have been enjoying a nice glass of wine + our outdoor heater the last few nights. Nice to warm the toes by then head inside ready for bed..

It is getting quite cool at night out here, but looking at the clear nights with the spectacular star light show is amazing. I only wish I could take great photo's of our star show at night. It is amazing how when we lived in Riverhills that we could hardly see the stars due to all the street lights, houses and all the trees in our way. Out here it get's sooo dark but perfect for viewing all the stars.

Well I am off, have a great week & will catch up with you all soon ~Linda~

Sad day..!

2011-05-26T21:49:00.002+10:00

NOOOOOO.... This is the end of an life long journey, I have had this grater for 13years as it dealt with my son's baby food and now dealing with hiding veggies within food for them both.

Sadly today the handle has cracked off

Hubby had a giggle as I was sad about it all. This is the last thing that was from my son's "baby" years and now broken :(

But a good must come from a bad, so off shopping I shall go for a new addition to my kitchen draw :)

CHROMING

2011-05-19T07:05:00.002+10:00

Last weekend we had a great time at our local Greenbank sports field as they hosted their annual Car Show. Well to my surprise a heap of people loved our family photograph on my facebook page and one even came up with a cool name.... CHROMING <-- facebook link to page if your wanting to join our Chroming Community Gallery.

So I'm wondering who can come up with the most creative Chroming of themselves. Got a couple of ideas for you.......shiny spoons, your chrome kettle, door knobs. But I am sure you can find others :) Who knows it might become as popular as Planking (only a heap more safer!)

WOO HOO...

2011-05-16T07:39:00.002+10:00

Over in our Riverhills home (which we sold) we had this amazing rose bush Mr Lincoln and the roses smell was simply beautiful. Well the other day I found one for hubby to plant here in Greenbank, hopefully the frost doesn't affect it too much in the early stages. But here is Indy helping hubby plant the new bush..

Now I don't know how I can get so excited about a Rockmelon but here I am all excited about us having 2 tiny little melons on a vine which I thought was dead and was going to pull out. I think the frost the last few mornings have really hit these plants, but this one has decided to take the risk and push out this little fruit..

Have a good week

Farming update + NERF SURPRISE!

2011-04-27T06:08:00.003+10:00

At the Riverhills house hubby has always wanted a large greenhouse for all his Bonsai plants and seedlings. Last weekend we completed his lil' "want" list by finishing off his greenhouse. It's a decent size and will house quite a few plants (+ my veggie seedlings). We put a row of bessa blocks around the boarder and then joined 2 large sheets of Rio (dunno what it's real name is) and formed a U shape by placing the ends into the holes of the blocks. It has worked a treat and didn't cost the earth to complete.

Here is the slow process of zip-tie'ing the shade cloth over the structure. I think the zip-tie's are our new friend. Might be hubby's birthday present I think as we use them so much these days and running low hehe..

Almost finished, we have made it a gradual shading area. The front has 3 layers of cloth and then as you go to the back 2 then 1 layer, where the sun is the strongest due to not much shade from the large trees around. This is where the seedlings will get sun hardened. Ready for the garden & "normal" life within the garden.

Can you see my girls in the background digging around. OMG they love it when hubby is digging in the garden. Almost killing themselves to get into the area where he is digging at times. But they are enjoying the full use of the yard now and then as they do enjoy playing havoc on my mulch gardens and tossing it around. So they stay in their pen when we are not outside to shooo them away..

**CHECK IT OUT**

This is the birthday cake which hubby created for our youngest's birthday only recently. He took his present we gave him and then re-created it for his cake. Love how creative my hubby is with food. I wouldn't have a hope in hell of making this.....no idea.

Here's hoping you have a lovely Wednesday

FARMER UPDATE

2011-03-28T16:36:00.004+10:00

What a beautiful view this was yesterday, our afternoon sunset was something to behold :)

The egg cup isn't going to cope very well with this baby!

We had an amazing find 2 days ago. LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS EGG.. I am sure that this egg has ripped my chickens butt, vet trip I would think......look at it......OWWW. But again today we got 4 normal size eggs so this girl who delivered this size egg has layed again today... She is a dedicated girl to my egg eating cause lol

*CHECK IT OUT*

Now I haven't visited the BOM radar site in ages and got a good giggle out of seeing the "Frizz Factor" on the site lol.....seriously there must be women running this site lol..

WOOOO HOOOO.....check it out. My youngest did a HUGE cross country and came 24th. Such a great effort!

BOYZ & THEIR TOYS!

2011-03-26T10:23:00.002+10:00

Morning All.... After a long 5hrs working last night, then sleeping for a little while, this is what I walked into the lounge room too. With 1 extra teenager sleeping over and all 4 kids (yes this does include hubby lol) playing COD and running around the house "Nerf'ing" each other between all of this. Means for an interesting morning of giggles and a messy lounge room. I am sure the kids love that hubby is a BIG kid himself and hubby loves the relax.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend :)

~Linda~

THE PREHISTORIC ANIMALS HAVE HATCHED......OMG

2011-03-22T15:14:00.003+10:00

Now do we all remember the eggs that hubby and I found in the mulch? Here is my post (<- link here if you wanna go back and read) about the eggs which we thought were legless lizards as that is what we found in the mulch with them BUT...........to our amazement they weren't.

Last night having visitors over for a BBQ and Shane noticed them moving in the tank we put the eggs into. We thought that they didn't hatch and were ment to toss out when we had DS#1 13th birthday party but compeltely forgot. Here are the 5 lil' babies we now have and will release when they have gotten a lil' bit bigger. We have notice some of these running around out the front near our pond, so will put them with those also :)

Aren't they prehistoric looking, look like dinosaurs of some sort lol..

New babies in the house of "Farmer Linda's" hehehe

~Linda~

Simply Beautiful & TOOOOOO MANY!

2011-03-19T11:03:00.003+10:00

My dear friend has being waiting for this day to come for many years and look at how stunning she is.. With a rough start they have made it through all the bumps together and have now made the commitment for life together forever. All doll'd up and looking wonderful, they arrived in these classic Valant cars and got married at the Meadowbrook Hotel in Logan. Thankfully the weather stayed away and has arrived today..

Well all 4 of our girls are now laying their presents for us to eat, but OMG we are getting so many lol.. Thankfully one of the girls at work is happily paying for a dozen eggs which goes towards the girls feed :) It is so nice to be getting fresh eggs every day. I think scrambled eggs are on the menu with a nice slice of bacon for breakfast tomorrow :)

~Linda~

FARMER LINDA & DAY OUT!

2011-03-13T16:46:00.002+10:00

Well "farmer Linda" has been busy tending to her crops (hehe) and today has come up trumps with some beans, strawberries and a beautiful ripe tomato. The tomoato's have been going crazy, but this is the first crop of beans we have had. The plant has completely covered the windmill and it looks so healthy. So on the menu we have beans, tomato's, strawberries, basil, rosemary, eggs. Other than the strawberries & beans it will make for a nice omelette :)

Now within my family I have to deal with a teenager, a young fella of 8 + a hubby with depression :( The last one would have to be the toughest challenge to deal with of yet, the roller coaster ride isn't fun for any of us and especially for hubby :( But this month we had a big set back, but I am determined that we are going to get back onto the right track again. So today was a new beginning of monthly outdoor adventures as a family. We hopped into the car and I just drove, through the beautiful Beaudesert and followed a sign towards Kelly?? Never found Kelly but we did find the Lost World Valley. WOW.....simply stunning. Getting fresh air, exercise and generally away from day to day stuff is what he needed so we provided today with a great fun drive, found some lovely dirt tracks to go along & some wonderful scenery. Nice way to blow out the cobwebs and try and find some peace within himself :)

Hubby trying to teach the boys how to choose the right rock to skip

Here is a self portrait of hubby and I playing in the really cold creek lol

We said hello to the locals & our fluffy members of the family who came for the ride also said a kind hello to them also.........NOT........lol heaps of huffing and puffing.

Not the best photo but I am in love with this app on my Iphone currently lol..

Farmer Linda Update

2011-03-03T09:04:00.003+10:00

In our small area of Spring Mountain, Greenbank we have been having some wild weather over the last few days. From stinking hot & humid to wild, electrical storms with hail & wild winds. A couple of nights ago we suffered again with one of those storms and yet again we had some damage, thankfully not us personally. But our community trees did.

Here is a photograph of our rear fire break and sadly one of the really large trees have had to suffer badly. Our natural water course runs straight down to this rear area and I think with all the water & flooding in this area that it got all too much with the high winds and knocked this big baby over.

We also noticed when we drove out last night for a be-lated birthday dinner at Hungry Jacks that cars were under huge trees, street signs bent like tooth-picks due to tree branches on top of them. And the general rubbish around was amazing.

I hope you guys are doing okay with all this wild, strange weather we are having of late?

FARMING UPDATE!

With all the wild weather we are having some glorious rain, which is helping my veggies to great heights. The strawberries are flowering and fruiting. Not too sure how they will go as these are runners from a parent plant which we left at the other house? But so far so good, so who knows?

The Rockmelons are on the move. The plant itself isn't very impressive at all, very tiny. But we do have a flower on there currently. So who knows might have "a" rockmelon this season? I have been giving them the Miracle Grow fertilizer so will have to see what comes from this lil' plant this season?

OMG you should see this Pumpkin plant. The plant itself is about 1metre long and still shooting along the ground. But have a look at all the buds we are getting for those lovely pumpkins. Should be having HEAPS of pumpkins in the next couple of months I hope?

Here is one of the HUGE flowers all open from our pumpkin vine. It looks so impressive here. This week I am going to start some seedlings as there have been a few failures in the veggie patch with planting via seed. So I'm going to plant them separately in a hot box to try and get them much bigger and stronger before putting them into the veggie patch. Might have more success this way?

And the beans are shooting & flowering also. This plant has covered the windmill and very hard now to see the actual structure, so can't wait to get some taste beans for the dinner table very soon.

Oh another addition to our garden which will be coming soon is my Aunty has her Banana tree's giving off saplings. So we are going to head out to the lovely suburb of Rosewood and dig up our own Banana tree. She brought over HEAPS the other day which will make wonderful Banana Cakes for the kids lunch boxes. Can't wait for that to arrive!

Now not to be left out. This is a beautiful succulent we have on the back patio which has always struggled at our other home. I think due to having far too much shade with the Leopard Tree next door it didn't show it's true colours, until now. The flower has been out like this for a couple of weeks, isn't it beautiful. All because it wanted a HEAP of sun, now it is show off :)

Hope your enjoying my Farming adventure's, shall catch up with you all soon..

Do you remember a few months ago I put on here about GIVEAWAY LOGS well finally someone has taken them away. Rang this company in Redbank Plains who sell firewood and sadly due to the floods they can't get into the paddocks they normally visit to collect all the fallen trees. Thankfully they came with their truck and took away the pesky logs for me. I had no idea how they would take them but this one guy Kookaburra (nick name I would say due to his laugh lol) came with his truck n crane and loaded them up and away they went. Now I only have a heap of grass but no mowing around the silly logs that could house brown snakes etc..

More space for "Farmer Linda" and her crops lol

ON THIS DAY 13 YEARS AGO

2011-02-28T09:28:00.003+10:00

After 16 long hours of labour, we had in our arms this crying, pooping, tiny lil' boy who we called Ethan (or DS#1 in blog world). This was our first adventure into raising kids, and thankfully we have been very blessed. From a rough start with Reflux to ADHD he has taken everything within his stride. He has grown into a very caring, respectful young man and we are extremely proud to call him our son. It is wonderful to have him apart of our family and looking forward to what he will achieve in his coming years.

10 THINGS ABOUT ETHAN:

1. Still calls me Mummy, even if we are shopping (rare I feel seeing he is getting to that part of his life when all things related to your parents is awkward)

2. A master at Little Big Planet PS3 game (and Call Of Duty, but I rather him play the LBP)

3. He really loves his trampoline, it is his "thing" to help with the ADHD

4. Hates having to help with chores around the house, especially doing Mulch lol..

5. He has his own car (yet to be fixed and running) Datsun 1000 Ute

6. Little brother Alex is his best mate. He may not admit to your face but he really misses him when he is away with a sleep over.

7. BEST TEACHER EVER - Mr Crichton from Greenbank. Ethan only had him for 8 weeks but made a huge impression on him (& me, such an awesome teacher)

8. Collects Mighty Beans & loves his Larva Lamp, Static electricity ball too. Pretty sure he will also be collecting HATs. Getting right into designer hats with the stickers on the brim lol

9. Loves having his mates visit, especially A.J from Greenbank. Sadly they don't go to the same high school but still enjoy visiting each other when they can (me too.. He is such a lovely boy & a pleasure having over)

10. Fav food: Dutch double salted Licorice, Butter Chicken & rice, Hot Dogs, Hungry Jacks & KFC, Chocolate & Fanta

*Just some of Ethan's Bio :)

Now we had a BBQ on Sunday arvo with family & friends and my VERY talented hubby has created Ethan's favourite character from Little Big Planet

INTRODUCING

SACKBOY

Now Sackboy is the main character from Little Big Planet and I think he is so cute. Hubby made him out of icing but he is FILLED with Jelly Bears. Licorice stripes for his zipper and stitching, Oreos for his eyes and crushed up for inside of his mouth.

Here is the SackBoy in all his glory placed on the Birthday Boys cake. To all our ammusement Ethan had to CUT INTO HIS TUMMY :( poor lil' guy, he could have used the zipper hehe.

OWWWWWWWWWW MY TUMMY!

The boys really get a kick out of the cakes their dad makes for them, he is such a talented person when it comes to designing cakes for special events. I am pretty sure he would already be thinking about his next cake design for Alex in April..

LOVE YOU BUDDY!

AND

HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY

FOR TODAY

OUR FIRST DOZEN!

2011-02-25T16:30:00.002+10:00

Well we have made it to our first dozen eggs. It has been a hard slog getting here due to us eating them too quickly. But I'm saving them for our weekend BBQ here as they will make a nice addition to the salads & BBQ plate. Very proud of my 4 fluffy girls (still only 3 laying, but hopefully soon she will get the idea of this egg laying business)

Well I wasn't planning on putting up the pool till after the weekend, but had a change of heart and this way all the boys can play in it over the weekend. Here is our youngest enjoying the pool. He walked in the door from the school bus all hot n bothered, then when I showed him the pool, ran straight into the bedroom got changed and straight into the pool.

He is always humming about getting the slip n slide out but the amount of water he wastes' I didn't realize. So at least this amount of water will be in there for some time.

Thanks Duder for giving the boys the pool, they are really enjoying it.. Gotta get a cover & pump etc but will make a nice addition to our summer cooling.

*What do you think of the photographs? It is a new application on my iPhone called "Retro Camera" and has quite a few different "camera" looks which I shall have fun over the weekend with..*

WHY!!!

2011-02-22T16:28:00.004+10:00

My heart goes out to with Family & Friends in Christchurch today as they cope with the situation of the earthquake which happened today.

What is happening here in our wonderful world? Floods in Queensland & New South Wales, Fires in Western Australia, Snow Storms in the USA & now Earthquake in New Zealand.

WHY!! Is there something that we have done wrong in caring for our world? How can we fix this problem we are having with our environment, is this how a new evolution starts?

Sorry Mother Nature but us humans are here to stay, now settle down go to the doctors and get some pills for that bad attitude that you have currently.

All my love to my scrappy friends in NZ and I hope that you are all safe. Email me when you get the chance :)

What is Mother Nature Doing To Us!!

2011-02-21T09:04:00.003+10:00

OMG honestly can it get any hotter! I had the lovely people from Climate Smart out the other week and they left behind this device that tells me about my power usage but also THE TEMPERATURE..

Honestly I don't need to be told it is hot and now I can see that it is only 30 degrees..only 30....that's nothing! IT FEELS LIKE 40!!

And do you think that the Cicadas make it sound hotter? Their noise always reminds me of the heat waves off the road. The boys have been enjoying finding them all over the gum trees in the yard. Just wish they would stop their noise as they are making me feel hot lol..

I'm worried about people melting here over the weekend as we are having our son's 13th birthday party with a jumping castle. Let's hope there is a cool change coming for the weekend?

Think it will be no cake this year just ice creams all round.. Oh hay knowing my luck it will be pissing down with hail & fearce storm all because I have planned something special..

Photo explosion this post!

2011-02-20T09:56:00.006+10:00

We have had a lovely couple of weeks with visits from family for Pizza & Movie nights, out to lunch with school mum's over in Riverhills. Going over that way again next week for car tyres + mow the house we have sold.......THURSDAY is the big day!! All sold on the 24th, I have the fingers crossed that nothing happens this week with it all, will have to pop the bubbly that day when all done and dusted!

And last thursday we enjoyed a night out at Pancake Manor in Ipswich. Celebrating our niece's birthday which the boys really enjoyed playing pool with them.

It was quite funny to watch as they both took their shots with me worring about them putting the que stick through the felt. Thankfully didn't happen though lol.. It was hard trying to get photographs of them playing as they were jumping about all excited. Got a couple though!

This big guy up top is turning a teenager at the end of this month, now please can you tell me where all that time has disappeared. Now I have survived the kiddie years now to survive the teenage years! Here we go...

Here is my lil' man taking his shot. Geez it was funny watching him try and line up his shots.

Now how is your animals surviving with this heat? My two love to lay on the tiled floor under the ceiling fans. I hope your animals are coping okay.

OMG now check this out. Last year I purchased this lovely cupcake maker (you've seen here before) and hubby wanted something not so pop in your mouth and walk away. So did a heap of searching on the web and found out that Breville use to make a Muffin maker. Which I can't find anywhere no more, but found this beauty on Ebay. Check out the size of those babies. Still only takes 10mins to cook the 3 of them, but they are simply perfect.

I am thinking about all the savory muffins for breakfast I can make with this machine. Or even an omelette type of deal in here. Got the thinking cap on now..

STOP NOW IF YOU DON'T LIKE MICE OR RATS lol

We have been having some fun with our "country" animals of late. Every night we could hear this scratching and couldn't find where it was. That was until yesterday when I re-filled the doggies bowl with biscuits.

The bloody animal has chewed it's way into the container to get at the doggie biscuits. So no more for the puppies out of this container and will have to find a better solution for their biscuits + going to put a mouse trap in the container with some yummy treats and get rid of the lil' fella grrrrrrr!!

At least I know what the damn noise is now, was driving me batty trying to find it!

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! The shed is finally up and ready to be used! Now the fun part of moving all the crap from the garage to the shed, bummer......more work!

Hay can you see the beans on the windmill, they are all the way to the top now! Can't wait till they start shooting out those beans.

OMG I made the most lovely meal the other night. Our own lettuce, our own tomatos, our own eggs. mmmmmm now all I should have done is made the bread rolls and killed a cow then would have been complete all our own lol.. That last bit...no thanks, I couldn't do that. Happy to purchase the meat on the lil' black tray all nicely wrapped up. lol

Well I'm off to do some "housey stuff" catch you later

~Linda~

Only 1 more to go!

2011-02-14T17:58:00.002+10:00

Visiting the hens house this afternoon after hearing a lot of noise to my surprise I found an extra little present. I now have 3 of my girls laying eggs which is wonderful.. Hopefully soon the other girl will be laying and then I can make a decent omelette for breakfast lol. If only they knew what I had plans for there hard efforts during the day.

Extra bonus, I have gotten rid of my guinea pigs. The boys had lost interest and friends of ours daughter luuuuuuv's them, so off they went over the weekend. Now to get my grass back to not looking like a chess board.

I wonder what tomorrow shall bring to the household? Hopefully cool weather so I can catch a nap prior to working all night??

Shed Slab, done!

2011-02-14T11:01:00.005+10:00

Okay now remind me, never to do this again.. 3.1 x 3.1 shed slab we created this weekend and holy crap we didn't enjoy this one bit. Saturday was making the box up for the concrete, then off to work + other activites we need to do. Then Sunday was the horrid day of making the concrete. We hired a mixer and thought "cool we can knock this over in no time" BULL.....!! If it wasn't for a mate popping in who we roped in to help we would have been there all day!

Here I am getting all artsy with the camera prior to all the hard work that was going to be happening in the next few hours..

AAHHHHHHHH....nice and cool air-con in the car lol. Here is hubby taking a break once we finished in his car cooling off. This was once they had put in the CB radio in the jeep also. A very productive weekend and next weekend looks like it will be one too, as we then have to assemble the shed onto our lovely new slab.

It was looking beautiful and then we asked the kids about having handprints in the concrete...ewwww we don't wanna get into that lol. Was the response we got, so hubby decided to dedicate this ever lasting memory of the hard work to create this beast.. And here we were thinking it would be so much more cheaper to do it ourselves, but simply forgot the sunburn, sore shoulders & legs + back. Nope not next time, we have something to remind us every time we go to our shed.

FOR US TO REMEMBER TILL THE END OF TIME

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....!!

p.s - for all those romantic's, I hope you have a lovely Valentines Day and get spoilt heaps :)

~Linda~

Chilli Any One? Farmer Linda at it again!

2011-02-12T10:15:00.004+10:00

You know I think the best thing about our move out to Greenbank has been the space that we can do what ever we like on our own BIG block. We have moved from a 532m2 to a massive 4771m2. It has been wonderful for our family as the boys get to tend to the chickens, help me in the veggie patch and also help dad with any building & gardening. We have grown as a family & really enjoying our time together. The boys are more outside with us in the garden than playing with the computers & playstation. It is certainly the best move we have ever made, though sadly do miss my dear friends in Riverhills as it is a little more further to just "pop" in for a cuppa. And with all the shit that happened last year, I am so glad that we have moved here as it takes our minds off the whole situation. Sadly gotta face it one day as it won't go away, I feel.

**Anyway off the soap box I got some yummies to show off!!**

WHO WANTS SOME CHILLIES?

We have 4 resident chilli trees which I trimmed back a little and now it is FULL of the fruit. We don't use that many in our cooking and happy to bag them up if your wanting some for your meals.

They look beautiful

Check out the bushes all 4 of them are like this, completely filled with chillies. I have no idea what variety they are but they are growing and fruiting like wild fire!

Check out 1 of our pumpkin plants, the other plant isn't doing as great but this one if getting huge & I can't wait for it to fruit, will be so nice to cut the shopping budget a little bit with growing our own veggies

mmmmmmm strawberries, but I think it is almost the end of the season for them? These plants are from our old house in Riverhills. But we think they are runner plants so they don't seem to grow and fruit as well as the original plant which died off years ago

Here are the bean's. I started these from seeds and they are going great. Hopefully in a couple more weeks we shall be adding beans to our salads & stir fry's. Do you love my trestle lol.. It is one of the ornaments that look like the old windmills in the outback. We wrapped chicken wire around the base so they have something to hang on to and grow.

Now last week hubby ate the first tomato and forgot that I wanted to share with you all. This week I have 3 ready and growled at him not to eat till I had photos lol.. Oh I am so mean, but as soon as the photo was done - he ate them - cheeky bugger hehe

Be back with our next project hubby is doing today.. The garden shed has arrived and time to put down a slab + I'm ment to be sleeping
