Hello out there to all the digital scrapbooking peeps! It's Honeybee Jenn, aka jk703, here for today's Tuesday Tip! I'm hoping you enjoyed the long weekend here in the states, but if not, at least it is Tuesday and not Monday! Right?! :)

Anyway... a lot of scrappers use Photoshop and Photoshop Elements to make their wonderful digital scrapbook pages! The software allows for easy maneuvering, mixing, blending and playing with our digital supplies. BUT... we should learn some of the shortcuts that are available to us in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. You can scrap a lot faster when learning some of the shortcuts that are available to you! Mixed Media Monday: Hybrid Card Making and a Freebie

Welcome to another Mixed Media Monday here at Scrap Orchard. One of the great ways to use your digital scrapbooking supplies is for card making. I think there's nothing nicer than giving or receiving a card that's been handmade with thought and care. If you have never tried hybrid scrapbooking, or if you think you're not so great at working with scissors and paste, then I challenge you to start with a card. It's fun and it really is easy!

You can start as simple as creating a design for your card in your computer program and then just printing it out, or you can add embellishments. There's some great card making inspiration in the hybrid

Good morning scrappers!! I hope you all had a great week and are now settled in front of the computer and ready to scrap!! I know I am!! I have a lot of challenges to catch up on!

I don't know about you, but finding yourself a digi home is really like a hermit crab trying to find herself the right shell. She will try a whole bunch of shells before she finds just the right one to live in. Most the time it is a bigger shell than the one she had before because she needs room to grow...and well, a digital scrapbooking community, in my opinion, is much the same way. When we start out, we feel kind of small in our big shell. We don't really know anybody..but we like the designers and we like the talent, so we decide to try it out. Some of us go full force
