Two Hydrangea Cards by Sue K

Hi Everyone

Our DT Gal Sue K. has created 2 different cards from the same stamp set showing how very versatile your stamps can be. I hope you enjoy them.

Don't have the right coloured cardstock to match your project, no problem, use your Copics
to create the perfect match.

You're One in a Million Card:

Tutorial:

Stamp the Heartfelt creations Hydrangea twice on to Xpress it blending cardstock, and approx 10 of the smallest flowers from the Heartfelt Creations Posy Patch set.
Colour the flowers on one of the hydrangea images and all the 10 individual flowers using BV02, BV13, BV17. Colour in between the flowers on the main image with BV23.
Colour all 4 of the leaves with G21, YG63, YG67 AND G28.
Carefully trim around the main image, the extra leaves and the loose flowers.
Cut a circle (132mm diameter) from the white cardstock.
Cut a circle from the black Spotted ‘Tillie’ collection cardstock, trim, and adhere to the white cardstock with the tape runner.
Cut a loop border from Xpress it blending cardstock, colour with copic BV13.
Attach the coloured border over the join in the black and white cardstocks.
Stamp the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink.
Attach the additional leaves to the back of the coloured Hydrangea with foam tape, attach the entire image to the white cardstock with foam tape, carefully tucking the end of the stem under the loop border.
Attach the loose flowers with foam dots, randomly over the Hydrangea. Finish off with some tiny rhinestones in the centre of each flower.
Cut a scallop circle, slightly larger than the circle, from Xpress it blending cardstock. Colour the outer edge of the scallop circle with Copic marker BV17.
Attach the circle to the scallop with the tape runner.
Cut a card base from a heavy cardstock, using the same die as the front.
Attach the card front to the base with the tape runner.

Deepest Sympathy Card:

Tutorial:
Cut Xpress it blending cardstock 150mm x 105mm, and 150mm x 50mm.
Using the larger piece of Xpress it blending cardstock, draw two lines with the chisel end of B23 copic marker, one of the lines at approx 7mm from the bottom and the other approx 60mm from the bottom. These lines will frame the dotted piece, giving the effect of another layer of cardstock without the weight of cardstock.
Next we create the dotted paper, take the smaller piece of the Xpress it blending cardstock, make dots of different sizes using the brush tip of the following markers, B23, B32, B45, B97, Y15, Y19, G21, YG63, BG96. Keep dotting until you get the piece filled to your liking. Add this to the card front with double sided tape.
Add the sentiment using Versafine ink.
Cut a doily from Xpress it blending cardstock, colour where it will show underneath the oval that will be on top, with B45.
Cut an oval to suit from Smooth White, layer onto the coloured doily, then add to the card front with foam tape.
Stamp the image onto Xpress it blending cardstock
•    colour the flower petals with B23, B32, B45, B97.
•    Colour the flower centres with Y15 and Y19.
•    Colour the leaves with G21, YG63, BG96
•    Colour the stem with E31, E33, E35, E37
Trim the image and add onto the oval with foam dots, finish off the centre of the flowers with a touch of stickles.
Attach the completed card front to a C6 card base.

'Sending Extra Love Your Way' Card by Angela

Hi Everyone,
Our DT Gal Angela has created a lovely card to share with you today, I hope you enjoy it.

Tutorial:
•    Using the grey cardstock as a base, cut 30.5cm x 13 cm
•    Score at 5, 10, 20 & 25.5 cm
•    Die cut large Lacy circle with Nestabilities die
•    Die cut large circle with the Distinct (Pink) paper
•    Cut two 12.5 x 4.5 cm panels with Distinct (pink) paper
•    Cut one 2.5 x 9.5 cm of the Distinct (pink) paper
•    Cut one 12.5 x 9.5 cm piece of Gifted Back (Grey) paper
•    Cut two 2.5 x 4.5 cm from Gifted Back (Grey) paper
•    Die cut an oval with pink cardstock and slightly smaller oval with the grey cardstock.
•    Stamp Hero Arts greeting on small grey oval.
•    With MFT Die cut pink Die shape
•    Using MFT die cut small oval and stamp border and greeting with black ink.
•    Adhere organza ribbon to outer card 3/4 way down.
•    Adhere two pink panels on outer sides of card.
•    Adhere grey panel on centre part of card
•    Adhere pink strip 8.5 cm down the centre panel and two grey strips 8.5 cm down the end panels.
•    Place oval greeting over pink panel in centre of card.
•    Adhere oval greeting to pink die cut and with mounting dots adhere to large pink circle and then   attach to lacey die cut.
•    Arrange so lacey circle is on far left of card and when card is closed it sits slightly to the left.
•    Wrap ribbon around card and tie bow on right side
