From the Newsletter - a repeat of the NSD info.

Join us for two or three days of cropping (April 30-May 2, 2010) to celebrate this extremely important national holiday! You can set up once and crop for two or three days--your choice. If you spend all three days with us, you will be having yourself a scrapbook retreat for the incredibly low price of $75.

What is included in your National Scrapbooking Day crops, you ask?  First off, plenty of time for cropping!  Friday we're open 10am-midnight, Saturday 10am-midnight and Sunday 8am-5pm.  A delicious meal each day - dinner on Friday and Saturday nights and lunch on Sunday. You'll also be getting dessert, M&Ms, beverages, a giveaway, some challenges, a raffle, and humongous FUN.  Plus we will have in-store demos scheduled each day to show you our favorite techniques and products.

If you spend two days, the cost will be $50. If we have room, we'll open up spots for one-day registrations sometime in late April. For now it's two (must be consecutive days) or three-days only. Talk to your friends and figure out your schedule, 'cause we want to see you at the Clubhouse for the National Scrapbooking Day celebration!

Thought I'd share some photos of my scrap room yesterday.  Well, actually, this is some of the stuff I first brought upstairs.  Yes, water got in my photo storage cases... sigh.

And here you see things floating... like power cords and space heaters.  Actually, it doesn't look too bad from this angle, but trust me, it was.

I have neighbors who've lived here 17 years + without any water in their basements.  We were all in for a shock.  The good news is, everyone is okay!  Soggy, tired, but okay.  Hope all you out in RI and SE CT are safe.  Tracie

Just a quick note to let you know we've scheduled another Cards for the Troops session this Saturday, April 3 from 10am-noon at the Clubhouse.  Dotty and I will be there with a couple of pre-designed cards that we can whip together and send overseas.  We'll plan to make Birthday and Mother's Day cards.  Remember, we supply the materials and design.  You provide the loving labor.  Together we make cards that the soldiers can choose from (think Hallmark store in a box!), write a message in and send home to people they love. 

If you can't make it to the store on Saturday morning but would like to drop off cards you've made at home, please do!  All themes are welcome!
