Here we are for another Whimiscal Designs Challenge. For this challenge Nanne has created an amazing sketch. This is my take on the sketch and I cant wait to see what everyone else comes up with for this Sketch Challenge. Way to go Nanne...

I created this card I added one of my flowers and a cute little butterfly along with Steph awesome sentiment stamp "wishing you a beautiful day" from the "Whimsical Fun" set.

Hi everyone I am taking a huge leap here and decided to try and be on the G45 team. I am so excited and I hope I at least make it to the "final round", but even if I dont make it. I still will be a diehard G45 crafting diva. I have six projects for the call. Please post comments and let me know what you guys think. I can take constructive criticism haha. Well ladies without further a do:

DT Call Project 1 - Valentine Heart Box

ruffle trim I made from material, hand crafted paper flowers,
added bling, feathers

Paper flowers I made - I colored the stamens with alcohol ink to match colors better

DT Call Project 2: Altered Shadow Box

Inside view of the box: I added a wood flourish, metal clock travelogue G45 collection

My newest things is "altered spoons" I alcohol inked, used rub and buff added some embellies I had

and wala. I love it. I also altered a wood dominoe piece I had by adding a transparency image.

My next new thing "Altered Perfume Bottles" so watch out I am now digging for bottles too...

I added a metal chain, paper flowers and made a 3d G45 butterfly.

It has hooks where the tags hang from and the box is also another hidden goodie!!

Open it up and it holds all your charms!!!!

I created a mixed media tag. I painted some pressboard with "Gesso" which allows paints to blend and take to the paper better, then I used some glimmer mist and paints to create the color effect and look of the tag. Added some embellishments and wala!!

Also I created this awesome candy dispenser which is a cut file from SVG Attic but you get two things in one because it can also be used as an "toothpick dispenser." Works perfectly!!! You have got to check out their files some amazing stuff ladies!!!

DAY TWO - CRAFTERS CHOICE
For day two I really stepped outside my norm and took a whirl with mixed media art and came up with this Metal Tape art book. Which has a secret compartment on the inside. I painted, embossed, added a dressform (my first) and created a little mini notebook for the inside. I used G45 papers the Botanical Collection and these papers are absolutely GORGEOUS ladies and I mean GORGEOUS. I hope you enjoy it.

The purpose of this hop is to help you use up some of your scraps. I'm sure you've got your fair share - I know I do! I love to find things that can be recycled and used for crafts. I took some of those mailers and used my cricut to cut some cute diecuts for a mini book. Since the cardboard is a little thinner than I like I adhered them together to make them more sturdier and it gives it the cardboard look on both sides PERFECT!!
