Now that my DS is 15 months old I am finally feeling like I have the time to do more scrapping and blogging. A few weeks ago I spent the whole weekend at a Close to My Heart scrap retreat and got 7 layouts done! I will post pictures soon. Bridgette has Nolan who is 4, but she is super excited to have a little girl! She is going a bit crazy over pink, so I thought she would like all the pink and the hearts! I can't wait to give this to her at her shower this month!<br /><br />First I painted the frame white - this frame took 3 coats!!! Next, I used the Cricut to cut out hearts of different shapes and sizes out of pink scraps I had lying around. I then used Modge Podge to adhere the hearts and buttons. I used the Cricut again to cut a stencil for the name. After painting the name, I tied three different ribbons around the side of the picture opening.<br /><br />I really enjoy making gifts for people I care about! What about you?
