On occasion, reflect on what you have accomplished as well as your open milestones and ensure you are still heading in the right direction. Repositioning along the way to success is perfectly normal and to be expected. You may have been struggling with something specific. Rather than continue battling this issue, reflect on what has not been working, and reposition yourself so you do not have to keep battling the same things repeatedly.

Have you tried, and possibly failed, to build an opt-in list? Maybe you have started to build a list, but things are going the way you expected. Not all is lost, you still have a chance to breathe some life into your list, and get it working for you instead of against you.

Although you may not be new to internet marketing, I want to back-track a little and go over some of the points to help you get your list growing. Your list needs to help, not hinder the growth of your online business. This isn’t a session of pointing fingers. It’s simply a time to make sure you have the information necessary to succeed.

The relationship between you and your subscribers must be one of trust. If there is no trust, you will not likely get that person to sign up. If they do they may not stay. Here are a few strategies to build and maintain trust:

#1 They must be able to opt-out. Make sure each customer signing up for your newsletter or information knows they have a quick and easy option to unsubscribe when they like. A simple statement at the bottom of your opt-in box or email is fine. This is actually required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

#2 Offer interesting and valuable content. To build their trust in you, start providing your readers with valuable and interesting articles, blog and forum posts based on your niche topic. While this may be a lot of work, the benefit of them trusting what you have to say is well worth the time. You will soon be considered an expert in your field, which can easily bring more prospects to your business.

#3 Stick to the 80/20 rule. People expect a certain amount of marketing when they receive an email, however, if your email is too heavy on the marketing end, your unsubscribe rate is going to quickly increase. Always make sure you offer at least 80% valuable content and around 20% promotional content. Additionally, make sure your marketing content is relevant.

#4 Get them involved. One great way to breathe life into your opt-in list is to get your readers involved. Take a poll or survey, and post the results, ask questions and provide feedback. Create a community with your prospects and customers, it’s a great way to build a business.

#5 Finally, make sure to balance your communications. There’s a fine line between emailing too often and contacting your opt-in list too infrequently. Find the balance. Study your click through and open rates. Test to see what frequency works best for your audience. While most people who sign up will expect contact from you regularly, they aren’t likely to remain happy if you email them several times a day. When creating your opt-in box, try to specify how often you intend to contact them, with room for extra mailings for the occasional special report or bonus.

Your list is the lifeline to your business. If you have nobody to communicate with, who will buy your products? Keeping them happy, waiting in excitement for the next mailing is the key to a happy list. Treat them well, let them trust you, and your list will not only start breathing again, but will have more life in it than ever before.

————————————————————————————————————————-

Building a business is a fantastic and challenging experience. You can wake up exhilarated to begin your day and go to bed feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. The key to success is to maintain a positive, yes you can do it, mindset.

Easier said than done, right? Here are 5 keys to help you create and sustain a positive mindset so you attain the success you desire.

1. Surround yourself with successful and positive people. The influence people have over our own personal energy is amazing. Moods and attitudes are so easily spread – think about how much of a difference a simple smile from a stranger can make for your day and then magnify it 1000 times to demonstrate the power of positive and successful friends, family and associates. When you have people around you who inspire you, believe in you and want you to succeed, there’s no room for doubts and even when they creep up, they’re quickly swept away.

2. Create a mantra or an affirmation. Repeating positive affirmations has been shown to get people through tough times and to actually help them truly believe what they’re saying.

For example, “I am building a powerful and profitable business.” Many of the most esteemed business professionals have used the same affirmation strategy to attain their success. To find the right affirmations for you, consider writing a quick list of your doubts, insecurities and complaints. These can then be quickly turned into affirmations.

For example, if you write that you’re always feeling disorganized then your affirmation would be, “I am organized and in control.” Repeat your affirmations several times a day and feel the power of positive thinking.

3. Capture negative thoughts. We all have negative thoughts from time to time, however, negative thoughts and emotions can derail us and prevent us from achieving all we desire. Of course catching those negative thoughts takes practice and persistence. When you find yourself thinking negative thoughts or having negative emotions, find a trigger to turn them around. The affirmations mentioned above are a great way to turn the negative into the positive. You can also find quick pick me ups like a favorite song, a walk outside in the fresh air, or some exercise to help improve your mood.

4. Set goals/intentions and then be willing to let it go. The law of attraction says that we attract what we focus on the most. However, desperation, needing your business to be a success, sends mixed messages and a lot of negativity into the universe. Set your goals and intentions and then let them go. A certain amount of faith in yourself and in the power of attraction is necessary. Give it a try.

5. Be grateful. Gratitude is perhaps the single most powerful and positive tool for success. When you’re grateful for all of the wonderful things and people in your life the challenges you face seem significantly less important and are more easily dealt with.

Consider keeping a gratitude journal and make a practice of entering into it daily. That way, when you’re facing challenges a quick peek at all the amazing things in your life will make you feel as if you can tackle anything. Additionally, an attitude of gratitude helps you maintain a positive perspective and to face challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles.

Success is within your reach and with the right attitude you can accomplish anything you set your sights on. Embrace these five powerful mind success strategies and you’ll build a better business and live a happier, more satisfying life.

The internet is currently the leading money making forum in the world. You need to keep an internet business right down as far as overheads are concerned which will boost your eventual profits. You are potentially aiming at millions of customers regardless of what service you offer or what product you wish to sell. You could even start your internet business right now as most of the tools and resources required are free, but as I said at the beginning, we are trying to generate a SUCCESSFUL internet business where time means money.

Yes, all you really need to get your internet business up and running is time and the resources to spend your time wisely to achieve optimum results sooner rather than later. I think you can probably understand the logic in those basic business principles and I will now go on to present you an internet business that virtually anybody could set up and promote successfully, even if you haven’t used a computer before and from the confort of your very own home.

Now this might not be the best internet business out there, but I know for a fact that many people are earning good regular income, even if their work input is reduced. So what is this winning internet business that virtually anyboby can start up? The answer is Digital Photography

- An industry in changing times.

All you need is a digital camera, an internet connection and a computer and you are half way to starting your own internet business. The other half is the complete inside knowledge on how to make money through digital photography which is where Dan Feildman will help you. Dan has long been established on the internet as a “Digital Photography Guru” and now wishes to share his skills and knowledge with anybody who is looking to start up a digital photography internet business. Times are changing in the Digital Photography sector due to the very internet itself that allows digital images to be shared by everyone, regardless of where they may be. You don’t need to go to an expensive local professional photographer anymore as digital images become available on the internet for a lot less. You can still make money locally as explained in Dan’s free report, but the internet is the key to making your regular income with digital photography.

As you make your way toward success, you will be challenged with big obstacles as well as small obstacles. Pick your battles wisely. While you need to resolve the small issues, do not dwell on them and lose precious time and energy when you should be focusing on the bigger picture. In other words, do not allow the menial things to clutter your mind and monopolize your time.

Whether you’re work at home business is as a custom scrapbook artist or other type of scrapbook business, having surplus income to run your business may not always happen, especially when you’re just starting out. And in today’s economy, it’s not a bad idea to learn how to be frugal in your business.

Though the goal in any business is to make money, it makes good business sense to spend money wisely even when you have extra income. Below are some tips you can use whether your budget is up or down.

• Get on a business budget: Just as your household finances need to be budgeted, so do your business finances. You must know how much is coming in and how much money is required keep your business afloat. Budgeting your business finances will help you stay in control and see areas you may be able to cut back on.
• Find ways to cut down on expenses: Turning off electronic devices when not in use will help cut the electric bill. Plan routes and cut mileage where you can. Cut down on eating out or other entertainment.
• Only purchase office supplies when necessary: Don’t buy new pens just because they’re cute or a new computer just because it has the latest and greatest.
• Recycle computer paper: When you print on just one side, instead of throwing it away when you’re done, make a stack to reuse in the printer on the other side. You can also cut the paper into quarters which makes for nice messages or note paper.
• Outsourcing-even though it doesn’t make sense: You may think you can’t afford to hire someone to help you, but they can do some of the mundane tasks that don’t directly make money, while you bring in the money-making work.
• Purchase supplies and other items you need to run your business only when they are on sale. Reconsider the necessity of that new scrapbook tool you’ve had your eye on.
• Recycle ink jet cartridges: Not only will you save money when you purchase recycled ink jet cartridges; you can make money by sending them to a place that recycles them.

Running a business on a low budget doesn’t have to be difficult or cause stress. By thinking frugally, using some good common sense and the tips above, you’ll be able to keep your business up and running and growing for future success. Being frugal in your business is wise now and for when you’re making tons of money! The above ideas are just to get you thinking. It is possible to cut expenses and still grow your business. You just have to be creative and patient!

“You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one, each day brings a miracle of its own. It’s just a matter of paying attention to this miracle. ” ~Paulo Coelho
