Happy Monday everyone.  Did you have a nice weekend?  Mine was busy with friends, food and fun.  This week’s note to self is a quote I saw last week about failure.  Is there something that you’ve been afraid to do?  Worried about the “what if’s”, what people will think or that you would fail?  Well sometimes the things that are the scariest are the most worthwhile.  Feel your fear and do it anyways.

This font is created by Trial by Cupcakes which I am familiar with through etsy.  This lovely shop is filled with pretty calligraphy so its no surprise to see fonts inspired from those calligraphy styles.  Of course this font is perfect for any celebrations and its one of those fonts that like so many before this one that will be seen everywhere.

Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Today’s Note to Self, is all about taking chances.  Embrace that new opportunity.  That new partnership or creative endeavor because those chances may not only change your life but be part of your destiny.

It’s from the  ZAC  Zac Posen Collection and it’s gorgeous!  While I love fashion I haven’t blogged too much about it here.  I will confess that when I was a in elementary school, I wanted to be a fashion designer but a not so great experience in my  home economics class  in 8th grade changed my course a bit.  Well, this season, I just checked out the collections from fashion week and stored my favorite designs in my inspiration file or on my pinterest board,  but when I saw this coat I just fell in love.  I also discovered a few other things from the collection, that I also loved as well…

I have to say that I became smitten with the ZAC Zac Posen collection during Fall’s Fashion Week.  I like the mix of lady-like style, old hollywood flair and a bit of edge that the collections possess and well… then there’s that jacket.

I have to confess, there really isn’t a font from the Sudtipos foundry that I don’t love, but this one is classic, elegant, perfect for invitations, printed on envelopes, cards and so much more.  Another bonus… it’s on sale and has moved to the top of my font wish list.

Happy Monday everyone.  How was your weekend?  I hope it was lovely.  Mine weekend was quick and active.  For this week’s Note to Self it’s all about the idea that you get what you give.  Sometimes the things we want to see in our life we have to give it out  in order to get it back. Why not give a little more this week. Even the smallest of actions can have a big impact.

Happy Monday and Presidents Day everyone.  How was your weekend?  It snowed here in Charlotte.  Since I’m from Denver seeing snow isn’t new for me.  What I always love is after it snows how pretty and serene it is and that everything seems to slows down for a minute so you can enjoy nature.  This week’s note to self is all about doing what you want to do and not psyching yourself out through fear, doubt or being worried of others opinions.  I’ve been at this point recently with some new products I’m working on and was allowing doubt and fear to cloud my thoughts, so how about this week we test that crazy idea and see if its got legs besides if you never try you really will never know and that crazy idea could be the one that leads you to reach your dreams.   Here’s to taking first steps this week.
