Minnesota has produced it's own brand of hiphop - somewhere between the east coast hustle and west coast's party - here without the coasts Minnesota's mc's party with their hearts on their sleeves. Or perhaps rather the heart's on their sleeves tend to party. Another unique aspect of music is the rise of the rapper with a post-secondary education.

It's been a rough and tumble road - and without the support of their fans PB and the Jam might never have made it to any of their shows. From designated drivers - to double-booked lessons and shows - being an aloof musician isn't easy. And that is why PB and the Jam would like to give back to all those who have given them so much. Introducing theJamily - corny? Perhaps, though also encompassing of what PB is all about - good people coming together to get funky!

From digital event posting, putting up flyers, passing out handbills, taking pictures, recording video or audio, painting while they play - to just gettin' down on the dancefloor - PB sees you and appreciates all you've given them!!! That said - join the mailing (it's on the left over there)! 'Like' them on FaceFunk. Follow them on Twitter. Become a fan on ReverbNation too perhaps. And finally, keep yourself posted - with the upcoming release of their debut album Lipofunktion - they're sure going to need all y'all's help to let the good people of our fair world know what the funk is up!!!

PB and the Jam Announce CD Release Show

At Bunkers on May 5th!!! After funkin' up the local and regional scene for little more than a year - PB and the Jam have finally gotten into a studio. Eight tracks with more than 50 minutes of music has been laid down and now simply awaits the mixing, mastering and duplication process.
