The season premiere of The Bang Bang Theory is September 22, and some details have emerged about the first episode.

According to Comedy Centric, Penny and Leonard will finally go out on their first date, but it doesn’t go very smoothly. However, Penny learns to use Shelton as her confidant, even though he doesn’t want to be.

Will Penny and Leonard end up together? It sure seems unlikely, but you never know.

Sara Gilbert will be a regular in Season 2

According to the the-big-bang-theory.com, Sara Gilbert (”Leslie”) will be joining the cast in a regular role.

In season one, she was his co-worker and she was briefly his girlfriend. Expect to see a lot more of her this season.

BBT is coming back on September 22

According to this blog, the show will be returning to the same slot as last year — Monday nights at 8/7c. The first episode will air on September 22nd.

Season finale tonight – will Leonard and Penny get together?

Tonight’s season finale (”The Tangerine Factor”) sounds like it’ll be a good one. According to BuddyTV, Penny breaks up with her boyfriend and Leonard gets up the nerve to ask her out.

To prepare for the date, Leonard goes on a “practice date” with the guys. That should be fun to watch. Tune into CBS tonight at 8:00 ET/PT to see what happens!

Big Bang DVD coming soon?

There has been no official announcement, but Amazon is taking pre-orders for Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory.

No word on when it will be released, but they’re currently listing it for $18.99.
