Matty is finally gone

Matt is a perfect example of what is wrong with “reality” television. In reality, Matt would have been gone much much earlier in the show. Nobody likes him including Chef Ramsey, no matter what he says. The only reason they kept him around was for ratings. He’s the guy you love to hate. He ruined something during every dinner service and had no friends on the show. Well, at least he’s gone now. He was really getting on my nerves.

Jenn picking Corey for the Las Vegas trip was a little weird. Was that strategy or did she simply hate her the least?

I think Petrozza should win at this point. Ramsey is always treating him like the leader and he seems the most level-headed. I’d much rather have him running a restaurant than any of those other drama queens. I’m afraid Bobby can’t win. He’s much too much like Rock, if you know what I mean. Shows like this prefer to keep their winners as diverse as possible. Sorry Bobby.

After kind of a strange week (food that tastes salty from a sweaty cook?), Louross was sent home. I think Reality Exploits said it best:

I was sad to see Louross go home. I think he did have some problems with assertiveness, but he seemed very talented.

Why I watch Hell’s Kitchen

My husband and I have very few shows that we can agree on. He likes American Chopper and Flip This House. I like the scifi channel and So You Think You Can Dance. Somehow, we both like Hell’s Kitchen. I like to watch the challenges where they have to guess what food they’re eating while blindfolded. I think my husband just likes to watch Gordon Ramsey bite people’s heads off. Anyway, the challenges are my favorite part. Unfortunately, as we were watching our DVR’d episode of HK the DVR skipped right passed the part where they have leftover ingredients that they have to use all of as a team, and went straight into dinner service. We had some storms Monday night and it made me miss my favorite part. We still got to see the red team kill the blue team during dinner though.

Just FYI. I am not an expert on Hell’s Kitchen. I don’t read fan sites and I am not a professional blogger. What you are going to get is my opinions. Whether I liked the show or not, which characters I enjoy, and maybe if somebody’s hair bugs me. Just wanted to warn you.
