For example, in tonight’s hilarious premiere Leslie accidentally makes a party foul by marrying two male penguins at the Pawnee Zoo. Now because Leslie is not a normal human being and because her town is made of crazy misfits she finds herself in hot water after the “penguin incident.” She unknowingly becomes the local gay idol and “queen of the gays” after partying it up at the only Pawnee gay bar. She is then accosted by several members of the town on the local morning show. The next logical thing to do is drive the penguins to Iowa where apparently gay penguin marriage is legal.

The real cliffhangers of the episode are:

1. Will Leslie be forced to resign? (I find this highly unlikely as it would ruin the entire premise of the show.)

2. Will Ann go on a date with Mark? (I think yes.) And will there relationship become a meaningful, long-lasting one? (Hmm. Probably. But I think her ex will try to win her back.)

3. Can Leslie return to “The Bulge,” the best/only gay bar in Pawnee? (PLEASE!)

I just have to say that I personally think April is one of the funniest characters on the show. She doesn’t have many lines but each line she gives is hysterical and the looks she gives to everyone in the office truly add humor to the show. I’m just saying.
