Fantasea BigEye Wide Angle Lens

The Fantasea BigEye lens is specifically designed to fit the Fuji F100 and F200 housings.  It can be removed and replaced underwater during the dive, so you can change your photo composition to suit the environment.

“It has come to our attention that, although it negates the warranty, some people are changing the hose on Apeks regulators to the Miflex hose. There could be difficulty when fitting a standard Miflex hose to any Apeks regulator.

Due to the design of the Miflex swivel hose, there is very little room for a standard 11/16” spanner to be used to tighten the hose connection, therefore if fitting this hose you must adhere to the following:

The torque setting for the hose connection is 5Nm as stated in your regulator CD owners manual. If there is no torque wrench available, the heat exchanger nut must be held whilst tightening the hose nut to the second stage, this can only be achieved with the use of a slim fit spanner.

Due to the design of all Apeks swivel hose connections, standard spanners can be used with all Apeks hoses.

Please note, this will not affect the Flight regulator which has a non tool connection.

Please note unforeseen difficulties can arise when fitting Non Apeks equipment to our products, which is why it is only recommended you assemble Apeks manufactured parts. If a lightweight flexible hose is required we would strongly recommend that the Apeks Lightweight hose be used. The part number for the lightweight regulator hose is AP0198 and the lightweight octopus hose is AP0199″

The affected low pressure hoses contain a flow restricting insert, coloured either black, blue or green, which can become dislodged, causing an obstruction of the air flow.

Both Mares and SiTech are recommending that you do not dive with a hose subject to this recall, or with a drysuit or other equipment that has been connected to such a hose.

The following Mares products, sold from 2006 thru to 2009 are included in the recall: Polarfit, Dryfit and Icefit Drysuits.

Low pressure hoses for the above Mares products should be returned to an authorised Mares Distributor to get the insert removed at no charge.  Any non Mares SiTech products should be returned to an approved SiTech distributor.

The Scubapro A700 is available with either a MK17 or MK25 first stage, in both Din and AClamp.

Suunto HelO2 Trimix Dive Computer

The Suunto HelO2 supports 8 gases from 0% to 92% helium and 8%-99% oxygen.  These gases can be primary or secondary gases.  A primary gas will be used by the computer when calculating deco information, and a switch will be prompted when you reach the gases MOD.  A secondary gas can be switched to at any point on the dive, but the computer will not use it in any deco calculations until you switch to it.  Secondary gases could include drop cylinders on a boat or your buddies gases.

As with all Suunto computers, the Suunto HelO2 allows you to select personal safety leves of P0, P1, and P2 for ultra conservatism.  But unlike other computers, you can also make the Suunto HelO2 more aggressive by selecting levels of P-1 or P-2.

The Suunto HelO2 is available with or without a transmitter, which provides remaining gas pressure only.  Supplied with the new Suunto Multi Gas Dive Planner and PC interface, you can upload and download dive plans and details.

While we do have some Aladin Primes at an amazing price, we are sorry to say it’s not the amazing price first listed!  The correct price should have been £169, which I’m sure you will agree is still a good price!
