Had a round of 9 holes in Ivanhoe Golf Course yesterday with my buddy pete. was good scored 52. cant complaint about that..

Pete gave a me a Taylor made putter. so i decided to use it ...and Istuffed up with first 2 holes and last holes in putting(not used to it)

1st hole putt - 4
2nd hole putt - 3
9th hole putt - 4
the rest putt 1 and 2 .....

damn it.. should've break 45 !!

anyway, i had a chat about rich dad, poor dad with Pete.

Me: Pete, you know about a book " rich dad, poor dad".
Pete: yea, lots of people talked about it, i heard its a good book.
Me: yea, really good.
long story short.. we talked little bit the detail of the book.
then Pete said:
Pete: you know what, i've done so many lots for people. normally ill ask their income, assets and liabilities.

- People who have more than 3 properties have a $5000 car , and their assets worth 1M++
- People who have a $50,000 car, trying to get their first home buyer grant.. and need to buy mortgage insurance... plus.. they have NO asset... only liabilities ......

so, imagine 10 years later... which one you wanna be ????

the main reason why I was so bored..pain...sored...dizzy is i just had my right knee re-construction surgery done 5 days ago. I basically have 2 holes and 2 cuts on my knee... Painful..

Haven't Blog for a while. Just started a new job and totally flat-out. Well, that's the way it is. This new job is touch, challenging it's hard..but it's FUN.

Last Saturday, around 3pm.... I went to a warehouse, prestige warehouse, a BMW warehouse. of course, with my wife. that wasnt the first time i visits. After a while of browsing around, David -The owner of prestige warehouse came to us, showed us what we want(he knew what we want). He showed me 2, one was black, one was silver. We tested the silver one. We like it ...and yea...We Bought it!!!

Google is keeping a close eye on a small suburban Melbourne start-up that claims to be developing a search engine that improves on the world leader.

MyLiveSearch, which plans to go live as a public beta in a few weeks, is the brainchild of self-taught software developer Rob Gabriel.

Mr Gabriel, 35, says his search engine gives better, more relevant results than the search king because it is a truly "live" search.

Google's search engine works by building a vast index of web pages, via automated "spiders" that crawl through billions of web pages a year. However this represents only a fraction of the enormous, sprawling internet and the index can never be entirely up to date.

Yahoo! search and (despite its name) Microsoft's Live search work the same way.

MyLiveSearch is fundamentally different. It works throught a small browser plug-in. The search terms are put through Google, or other indexed search databases, but those results are treated as "starting points" alongside the user's bookmarks and other popular web hubs.

From there, the live search takes over, crawling through hundreds of web pages connected of web pages connected to shoe starting points in search of more information relevant to the search.

Mr Gabriel says the results come back in seconds, and are almost always richer, more detailed and more useful than a standard, index-based search. His product can also search the so-called "invisible web" of dynamically-generated web pages that search engines have trouble indexing.

"This has the potential to change the way people search the internet," he said. "Google cant search every page every day (to build its index). The web is so dynamic and changes so often- MyLiveSearch turns your own computer into a 'super-spider' to search it in real time.

"This technology could be snapped onto any of the major search engines and improve them."
A Google business development representative has met with the MyLiveSearch team at least twice - once when the technology was at a very early stage, and again last week after Next made inquiries about Google's interest in the project.

Google did not want to comment on MyLiveSearch, except in general terms
"We're really keen to support Australia developers and IT entrepreneurs," spokesman Tob Shilkin said. "Google Maps was a small Aussie start-up. And Google itself started as two guys in a garage."

The company has a history of acquiring technology that might help a competitor. In April last year Google bought the rights to and advanced text search algorithm invented by University of NSW student Ori Allon. Mr Allon, 26, was given a job at Google's headquarters at Mountain View, California.

Mr Gabriel said the meeting last week inspired him to go to Silicon Valley next month to spruik his technology. "It started as a dream and the dream is slowly developing into a reality for greater than all my expectations," he said.

Mr Gabriel has worked on MyLiveSearch for two years, along with his younger brother, Mark, and systems engineer Mende Jurukovski - though the original idea came to him 10 years ago.
Live search is one solution. Despite Google's immense computing resources, the ranging "googlebot" cannot track update to the web in real time.

The more popular websites are "recrawled" more frequently. Outside the net mainstream, however, visit from the Googlebot are more rare. Even sites that are actively trying to promote themselves can take weeks or even months to turn up on Google's index.

Some estimate that even Google has only indexed less than a fifth of the internet.

One solutions to this problem is "live indexing", where pages are submitted to the search engine and instantly indexed.

Another solution is ad-hoc distributed web crawling. The open source Nutch project hopes that tens, hundreds or even thousands of Nutch-powered, specialised web search engines could combine into and index more comprehensive than any single proprietary site.

Link Building – the very common term in SEO, I personally believe the success of SEO campaign is dependent on the success of Link Buildings. I’ve seen lots of well-ranked website without any SEO technique done. What makes them ranked well? Because of the strong and quality back links (this is annoy me).

No question ask, the greater the number of links from high-quality, relevant website & High PR websites, greater the chances of getting ranked well in the search engine for relevant keywords.

6 months ago, I had a SEO project for a restaurant in Melbourne. A website with PR4 and 60++ quality back links. What I did was change the Title Tag, Add Meta Tag. 2 weeks later, keywords= Bar & Restaurant, Australia Restaurant Ranked 1st page Google worldwide. I didn’t have a chance to do something else. Well, more functions booking, more caterings businesses. Owner was happy. I’m happy.

When planning a link-building project, there are 3 main criteria to remember.
1. Relevance of Links
- Get links from same industry. More relevance of the sites from which the inbound links are obtained, better the results will be in off-page SEO hard work .
2. Quality of Links
- Obtain quality page or websites, sites like .gov .edu are King! Also, you will share the Google PR when you linked with higher PR sites.
3. Quantity of Links
- Of course, more links are better.

How to get one way link?
The most effective way to get one way link to your website is to provide genuine, valuable, useful and original content. Webmaster will just link to you if you have quality contents. Also, there are a lot of free article submissions, Blog looking for content provider. Submit your article to these websites will get lots of in-bound links very quickly. Same theory, provided you have quality article, webmasters will link your quality to their websites or Blog. Don’t forget to place a link on your article.

The other way of getting one way link is write testimonials. Whenever you buy something, write them testimonials with your link placed. I don't think the sellerwill ignore your testimonial. Over time, these links become significant in number.

Submit to directories is another solutions. There are thousands of Free and Paid directories online. You could spend lots of time just submitting your site to directories. Search on Google “best web directories”. You can find lots of free directories list.

Develop link exchange with relevant sites (reciprocal link). Remember Google see incoming links from relevant sites, and give them more rank compared a link from an unrelated site. If you having trouble finding relevant website that willing to exchange links, try out some link market site. I’m sure you can find some quality websites that relevant to your industry.

Forums are another great way to add one-way links. Many forums allow user to post their signature(signature = YourURL). Posting new message not only adding your in-bound link, but also bring additional traffic to your website.

Buying mass one way link -> I’m not quite sure is this work.

Medical Indemnity Insurance (MI) is mandatory, and good practice, for every doctor working in English Speaking countries.

WHO PROVIDES MI COVER?

Every country has different arrangements for this, and in some countries like the USA, you should check the credit rating of your MI company carefully, as many of them are facing solvenvy issues. In Canada, medical indemnity is covered by a general pool, similar to self insurance needed by doctors before they start practicingm and due to market requlations, these companies are far less likely to be insolvent than their US counterparts.

To take the Australian example:

The first level of cover is provided by the (public) hospitals, employers or practice, the second by insurance organisations such as MDAV

Note that the MI information in each country is very different. For accurate information on MI in other countries, please contact the relevent organisations.

WHAT IS COVERED BY A MI POLICY?

In Australia, in the public sector, the hospital's insurance will cover the cost of the doctor getting sued-the claim itself- but will not cover legal and other costs associated with defendint the claim. Therefore the insurance from organisations such as MDAV would cover the "gap".

in the case of private hospitals, the insurance should cover the whole amount of the claim plus fees, as the hospital itself doest not routinely provide insurance - although some of the larger ones may - it is best not to assume.

It is important to clarify with the insurance company what the insurance does and does not cover, and if there are any exclusions. And always, read the fine print and make sure you understand the MI policy, and that it is appropriate for your needs.

To protect you as a doctor, and ensure an accurate MI application process, it is necessary to establish what indemnity insurance is held by each employer, and where there is doubt, an extract from the certificate of currency should be requested.

HOW MUCH DOES MI COST?

In Australia, the cost of the premium depends on the mix between public and private that the doctor has: the more income earned in the private sector, the more the annual premium will cost. It also depends on the category of specialization, procedural vs. non procedural etc. For this reason, and the fact that all insurers measure risk slightly differently, the premium would be determined on a case by case basis, by the insurance company.

The need to have run off cover for three years after the position ends is standard throughout the world, some experts recommend it should be maintained for longer, for example if the doctor has been practicing as an obstetrician.

In addition to the indemnity insurance, doctors may be advised by third party experts about other means of protection of assets, such as appropriate company structures.

General information on Language Tests

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. Usually candidates are required to pass the equivalent of at the Academic Level of 7 in IELTS. OET - otherwise known as the Occupational English Test - is an Australian based language test for overseas qualified medical and health professionals whose first language is not English. Currently, it assesses English language competency as it is used in medical and health professions in Australia. This test may be useful for professionals in the following areas:

Doctors : Occupational Therapists : Radiographers : Dentists
