Searching for a Honda Civic

Honda Civic

I have been trying to find the right Honda Civic for my daughter. Checking the normal places Craigslist, eBay, local classifieds, etc has not been very successful so far. How about using the Government Auctions Search Engine? Lets try a search for 'Honda Civic', 47 results not too bad!

I actually scrolled down through the list until I found one from Ohio that sounded pretty good from govdeals.com

After clicking on the link I was able to find the details I was looking for. Most of these auctions are from local government offices, there is typically a number you can call to ask any questions about the vehicle or to schedule a visit to look at the vehicle in person. And as you would expect they are all sold As-Is, so you should take that into consideration when choosing your maximum bid!

Finding Apple iPods

I know it would seem strange to find iPods from the Government Auction Search Engine, but the thing is there are many sites included in this search engine.
Lets give it a try and see what we can find, below is a small screen shot of a search for 'iPod Touch':

A couple of clicks later and you should be able to find some good results, for example this is a lot of 9 'Salvage' iPod touches. So what does Salvage mean? In this case these are units that are going to need extensive work to bring them back to a usable state. If you need parts to repair other iPods or if you know how to repair iPods yourself this could be a good opportunity.

I have looked for years to find a Jeep Wrangler. Seems like no matter where I check CraigsList, eBay, Government Auction sites, or classified they are always priced higher then I would expect.

I found this today on govliquidation.com. The sale is already over, but I thought it was interesting to see the prices on some large lots of laptop computers. One lot had 900 laptops for $42,000 and the other had 750 for $62,000.
