�	Translate business requirements into product specifications, and work closely with an engineering team to translate these into technical specifications. 
�	Oversee platform projects through the product development lifecycle from inception through production handling all coordination between cross-functional teams. Products include
o	Identity management with user data profiles, single sign-on and federated login
o	Asset management with video metadata, web service APIs, and scalable data stores
o	Content/User Targeting with recommendation algorithms, large-scale data processing and machine learning
o	Site Management with web-based tools to publish, configure and operate Synacor front-end products
�	Work with engineering team during the product design and development phases to ensure requirements are being met and key design input is being incorporated. 
�	Identify and plan the key requirements for the software product that will deliver capability across multiple devices from the traditional browser-based web portal to smart phones.
�	Proactively identify process improvements and work to achieve consensus and drive implementation

What you�ll need to bring to the table:
�	A minimum of 2-5 years development experience in software or website development; proven experience developing large-scale database-driven applications.
�	Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience.
�	In-depth knowledge and experience programming in a LAMP environment using PHP (preferred), and/or, Perl or other languages.
�	Strong experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript client-side scripting (including libraries such as JQuery and/or EXT_JS or Sencha)

We are seeking a Product Manager, Email who will be responsible for defining the product direction for our email and communications suite. They will understand the current and prospective customer needs for our messaging products and then translate the needs into a product strategy and vision working along with the executive team. Their products will be used by millions of consumers, and will need to combine innovative features while optimizing the balance between user experience and revenue generation. The Product Manager will work closely with the Engineering teams to compile product requirements, manage the product roadmap, and manage the delivery and launch of Synacor&amp;apos;s messaging products. Duties and Responsibilities:
� Perform on-going competitive analysis, feature definition and prioritization, and other analytical tasks for our messaging products.

� Define product roadmap and product requirements based on input from management, competitive and market analysis, and customers
� Based on product roadmap, write requirements and user stories to be used in and agile development process
� Understanding the end to end technical operations of the product line to do ROI &amp;amp; NPV analysis on operations and development
� Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure the right level of testing is being performed for each release and the measurements are in place.
� Closely work with engineering and operations to make sure approved features get launched

What you&amp;apos;ll need to bring to the table:
� Experience working for a company that hosts email with a large number of mailboxes
� 3-5 years product development/software experience with email. 
� Ability to lead a cross-functional team and to make a plan and then execute it
� Experience in managing aggressive and dynamic projects, with competing resources and priorities.
� Good judgment in key issue identification and resolution spanning multiple departments throughout the product development lifecycle
� Strong sense of accountability and ownership for end to end product lifecycle with demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
� Proven quantitative, analytical and technical skills

We are seeking an Engineer that has experience with LINUX and PHP, JSP, ASP, or other language used for building web based applications. With a moderate level of guidance and direction from management, this Developer will perform Front End / GUI Development, enhancement and maintenance of existing software modules, custom programming for clients and various data manipulation tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
� Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge web-based applications on our portal and premium service platforms. 
� Develop and maintain applications using standard development tools.
� Providing technical consultation and expertise to Product Managers and other Synacor staff members.
� Writing technical and non-technical specifications and the documentation of procedures.
