Our idyllic complex is set amongst the lush rainforest and majestic mountains of the Southern Alps. The scenery here is exceptional with views over the wild Makarora river into some of this country's most beautiful and untouched valleys. We are 1 hour from Wanaka and 1 hour from Haast on
state highway 6. We are well equipped with a Shop, Caf� and Bar! The ideal place to spend the Summer and save!

We are looking for candidates who will compliment our current team in our Kitchen, Bar, Caf�, Housekeeping and Shop for our 2010/2011 season.

The successful candidates will have past experience in the area they are applying for, have a cheerful personality & enjoy being part of and working with a team. Punctuality and the ability to adjust to a remote setting is a must.You need to be proficient in English and have a N.Z work visa with minimum stay of 4mths. Positions will become available from October onwards.

Makarora Tourist Centre requires a number of roles to be filled in a very busy tourist environment. Constant customer focus requires pleasant and outgoing staff to make the holiday experience enjoyable for our customers. Our customers experience is top priority for us here at Makarora Centre. We have a great team, in an awesome location, in the most scenic part of NZ's southern Alps.

We have seasonal vacancies starting from November and finishing in March. The roles will be for kitchen and waiting staff, bar staff, reception and cleaning staff. Accommodation can be included. Will only consider experienced candidates. Customer focused, willing to work hard during peak times. Enjoys working in a team environment. Must be available to work for entire summer season (October to March).

Location is Makarora Tourist Centre in the Haast Pass. We are located next to Mount Aspiring National Park in the heart of the Southern Alps on State Highway 6, 45 mins out of Wanaka and an hour to Haast on the west coast.

We are a very busy cafe In Haast on the West Coast of New Zealand. Very close to the Glaciers and 2 hours from Wanaka.

We are looking for someone to cook in our kitchen, basic meal are served ie Fish and Chips, Chicken and Chips and making of Cabinet food. Idealy this job would suit a couple as we are also looking for a Barrista. Experience would be great butwe can give all the training needed for the right person.
