I have completed my mini contact card site adding all of networks, emails, instant messengers and display my recent tweets.

Tell me what you think of the design, I would love to read your thoughts. I’m sure there is still some room for tweaking but for a first go at designing a site that will also fit the iPhone perfectly. By the way, I don’t own an iPhone just yet so I don’t know what it looks like but if any of you have an iPhone and visit the my vcard site, I would love to have a picture of what it looks like or even a small video displaying your selves scrolling the site and clicking on the tabs. That would be a bonus.

Just a quick change of theme.

I needed to change the theme for the blog as K2 was not wanting to work with me any more. I could only have 4 posts showing, any more and it will explode across the screen and it did not look nice so I came across a brilliant clean modern theme and added my background design. Looks good no?

Well you comments don’t really matter on this post but I thought I just let you know what I have done.

I thought I share some new information on my WordPress theme Stripes and a sneak peek at the theme settings page.

What is included in the Theme?

The theme includes a few things built in for any easy setup for the user and many other WordPress themes include these as a default extra feature. You have Twitter, displaying your last tweet in the sidebar and a counter on how many others are following you. You have Flickr displaying your photos in the sidebar and you also have a Feedburner box at the top of the sidebar that allows your users to subscribe there emails and also a counter on those already subscribed to your blog / site.

What plugins are automatically supported and built in?

The following plugins that are automatically supported and built in are:

Most Commented
Breadcrumbs
Live Preview – Still working on!
Flickr
Feedburner
Twitter
Subscribe to Comments

What version of WordPress do I need?

You should really use the latest version out there but it will work from WordPress version 2.8.5 and up. If the theme does stop working when a new release of WordPress is available I will do my best to get it working again for future versions not that this will happen for a long time other wise it is because a plugin you have enabled does not work with my theme or you have activated or have a plugin activated that is not needed because it is already built in the theme so you will need to remove it or disable it.

Is the theme widget enabled?

Yes!

What widgets are built in?

There are only two widgets at this time. Flickr is built in the sidebar which you can enable from the theme settings page so it does not need adding manual when selecting your widgets. The other is a text box which you can use to put a small description about the site or yourself or anything you wish to enter. This also can be enabled from the theme settings page.

Do I need to do any configuring?

There are optional configurations available. You may use the theme settings page to adjust the theme to your liking and setup any additional features that you require i.e Feedburner and Twitter. You can enable or hide certain parts of theme if you wish using the theme settings page.

When is the theme released?

A release date for the theme will be posted soon.

You may have noticed these past few days that my blog is been offline now and then. This is because I am testing my WordPress theme called ‘Stripes’, but I might change the name to something else, I’m still not sure what to call it. The name ‘Stripes’ just came to me because the background image of the theme is 2 shades of blue vertically aligned with each other repeatedly. The theme will support custom ‘CSS’ in the future. At the moment I am finishing of the structure and the basic functions of the theme. It will be in testing mode soon. Updated screenshots will be posted also soon in the next post.

WP E-Commerce RightNow v0.1

This is my first complete WordPress plugin. It’s a Dashboard widget that displays your e-commerce sales for the Current Month. It requires WP E-Commerce plugin to work.

It’s still being tested out and I’m already making improvements for v0.2. You can download it here on my blog or you can download it here at WordPress.org

There at least WordPress can tell you if it works for your WordPress version.

Firefox Toolbar Disabled… and now Updated.

Since the release of the new FireFox browser version 3.5.2, my toolbar for Seb’s Studio is disabled. So I will be releasing an update within the next few hours that will allow the toolbar to work constantly for the next possible 10 years that Mozilla develop FireFox. More details on this soon.

Update

OK the FireFox toolbar will now work on all future versions of FireFox.

Original Specifications: Min Version: 1.5 and Max Version: 3.0.*

New Specifications: Min Version: 1.5 and Max Version: 8.*.*

So go and download the updated toolbar now.
