First and foremost I want to apologize to anyone that purchased the story and it wasn't up to their standards of entertainment. My only excuse is that I'm really new and love what I'm doing so much that I excitedly pushed for self-publishing without eyes other than mine doing the editing. Huge no-no I know but I'm rectifying this mistake. I can't say that it doesn't sting to have someone tell you that you "suck" because it does a lot more than it should.

I've gotten some reviews on ARe that haven't been the most stellar :'(. But I've looked past the "hateration" to what was really being asked of the story which will only help me be a better author in the long run.

With that being said this part of the post is coming from a place of resilience. That means I am a little bitter (hehe) but I plan to make it a positive! So I've been work diligently on my new novel (crossing fingers that it'll be finished and edited *professionally* by next month this time). So to all my haters I have a pledge for you:

My pledge is that I will never let that happen again. Contrary to what's been published I do care about my work and how it reflects my style of writing. From now on I plan on bringing only the utmost polished work that I can muster so as to face any negative backlash with a higher head. Thank you for making me a better writer!

To all the people that loved the story and looked past the glaring mistakes to the story (if you could find it...lol). You guys rock the cock and thanks for the support! It's for you that I write and I want more interaction with you awesome people! I want to see what you liked what you didn't like and that will also help me in the future ensure that you continue to enjoy.

On that note I'd like to share I'm a best seller on ARe! It's in the 9th spot (don't know if it will stay there or for how long). All I know it either the story was so bad it piqued interest or it's not as bad as the reviews on the site say (LOL). Either way it only fuels me to charge on!

My next story is the first in another series I'm starting. I have an unabridged, super rough version on Literotica.com . So please give that a check and get to know more about me as a writer. The story is called "Beautician and the Beast" and as it stands it has an 80k word count.

I'm drastically revamping this story with tons of stuff taken out and new material put in to make a completely new story. What you'll be reading is basically a skeleton I'm sharing this version, as I said earlier, for readers to get to know me as a writer. I'm pretty much an open book and truly want to be the best author I can. Whether bad or good in response I want the growth (or lack there of) with the work to be documented from the beginning to the final product.

Character Breakdown: Maizah Winston

Warning: This is just to have more insight to my characters as I see them in my head from physical form to personality characteristics. If that tarnishes what you have worked up already in your head then please read with caution and open minds

Remember those American Girl paper dolls?

Those cut out representations of people that you could use other cut outs for their clothes and accessories? I'm obsessed with them! So much so that I'd write a little story for every new doll I'd get. I'd connect a new personality to every outfit making multiple stories for just one doll.

Of course, since then I've grown, I don't think the ol' American Girl's I read then can keep up with the steamy recesses of my dirty mind. But I've learned to adapt my way of rousing inspirations with outlets like Tumblr, magazines, etc...

Like then, I use pictures that catch my eye to create a world for my stories. Sometimes I may already have something in mind. Sometimes I may be inspired but the them of the photo or what the person represents....

By the end I try to have a character or situation with so much back story that it's haunting...

To Pop off the first post of character dolls, Maizah Winston from Pleasures of Id.

Name: Maizah Pamela James (Winston)

Birthday: 09-09-1985 (Virgo)

Characteristics: Shy, diligent, intelligent, and modest BUT ALSO A worrier, and overcritical of herself.

Occupation: creative research for a cosmetics company (I actually did put this little tidbit in the story but felt it didn't add anything...but now you know:D).

Physical embodiment: A deep Mahogany hued Toccara Jones. I chose Ms. Jones because I've found her pretty in all her forms. I also liked that the weight she lost never made her look sickly. She stayed curvy and cute, just how I imagine Maizy. She was and still is a healthy girl and her photos exude tons of grace and sensuality. This is the duality that I needed for Maizy; a clear line between the two that acts like magnets facing each other in the beginning. They push against each other constantly. In the end, by using an exercise so totally opposite (magnet pun) from her regular demeanor she's able to put her poise and sultriness together to see the voluptuous and elegant woman that Mallory sees.

Style: I think of Maizy's style as vibrantly colored yet clean and chic. She gets "more daring in her attire" as the story progresses but it's basically still the same.

Well me and what I like to do...

I write cheeky tales of sex, love, and the conflicts of the two. For a long time my writing was just a labor of love but now I'm ready for more.

Synopsis:

Ugly duckling, Maizah "Maizy" Winston, struggled most of her life with her weight, depression, and a neglectful abusive family. With a determined heart, support from newfound friends, and an unconventional exercise routine she has the confidence to get the lusty gaze from guys that never wanted a thing to do with her before.

Luckily for Mixed Martial Artist mega-personality, Mallory 'Neanderthal' James, she only has eyes for him. He's always been sure of himself with everything to back it up. The only one to knock him off his feet though was shy and quiet Maizy. Yet after their first date it’s obvious it’s going to take more than his direct personality to break through her defenses. With the help of mutual cohorts he’s able to ensure and keep a watchful eye on her achievements as well as fend off his competitors. Waiting for the proper time to make his move for her heart once more.

Now it’s a question of if Maizy will see his interferences as manipulations or what they were intended. To help her see herself like he’s seen her from day one. Beautiful.
