A Benediction of the Brain

A Benediction of the Brain

A Mind’s Eye Look at Thought

I lie down, close my eyes and see the horizons of my mind’s eye as I gaze through closed eyelids into my brain.

I see and feel the flow of thoughts penetrating my very sole and spirit.

I listen to the hisses in my ears until they ring with silence.

This is the place of my mind’s eye where the deep intellect of thought resides.

It is the place I go where I can reach out and communicate with anyone.

I rest and I sleep and learn from my brain. I am conscious and aware, I am alive, breathing and well.

I feel how my brain works and know what it controls and I watch what it reflects so I can see.

I take what it conjures up and attempt to collect its; beliefs, causations, ideas, knowledge and wisdom.

I try not to lose the collection and wait for it to start over again when I do.

I find myself with memories and travel through life and time, love and sorrow.

I always look for the illusive path to shine and transform into a clear direction.

I am sad when I awake but happy with the benediction of what I receive.

I am energized and focused yet; exhausted, forgetful, human and feeble.

I become leery and afraid to share with humanity for terror lurks behind closed minds.

So again I try and I look for you in myself and realize that this is the here and now.

I wipe away my tears of the mockery of disbelief in faith and kindness.

I search for; coincidence, marvel at the awesome and hunt for unknown treasures of mankind.

I am I and though I try to be another I cannot fool myself and I get what I see in the mirror of my ways.

Keep trying, find peace, be aware of others and be rewarded with life in your new norm.

My Life in Autumn
by Dan Nippert

The title, My Life in Autumn, is just another way to say, "The Autumn" of my life.

Today is the Two Thousand and Fourteenth year of Autumn. Personally, I only know about sixty four of those; leaf dying, rude and deliberate seasons and I know all about those. I really do not care about the other One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty.

So, speaking about the Sixty Four I do know about I would greatly love to say, "LEAVES" and a great multitude of them. Each leaf is; hanging or falling, wet or dry, smelly, messy, red, green, brown, yellow and orange-red or such colors. I just see them plain but highly, visible and bothersome. I fact I find leaves highly annoying!

You know on second thought, I fear without them, Autumn and leaves that are; they might not miss me, and my displeasure with them. I imagine they would not think much of what this outspoken old sapling has displayed and just keep right along on without me.

You know it just might be nice to see another one or two, ten or twelve, well truthfully, about, twenty or more Autumns. Yes it would! I now believe Autumn; you should display more of your leaves and beauties and colors and such other things!

So.... long live Autumn and may your leaves fall wherever they may fall!

This past year is now behind me...

You know?

This wasn't exactly the best year for me! Oh, POOR Dan! Sooo... how about, I'm over it and its time to move on.

Though it was a very busy year and I can say I have a new outlook and I have a "New Normal" that took; time, support (thanks family), patience, learning, attitude and effort, etc. like most things anyone does... Butt a BIG DEAL for me!

Time for a fresh approach so, anyone out there that wants to connect may easily do so by sending me an invitation on "LinkedIn" - Dan Nippert - mention this Blog and know you won't win or get anything! (I do not FaceBxxx) Butt, I can also be reached at dannippert@live.com.

I am (REALLY) open to ideas and suggestions! (If you are new to LinkedIn let me know and I'll give you a hand!)

I plan to pick up where I left off and take a new fresh approach to: this blog, Nippert heritage, Mayflower lineage, book corroboration and or collaboration, you know, HELP! Also, other surnames mentioned in this blog.

I do seek free advice and Help from; A) The Mayflower Society [where they stand to mutually benefit from a potential 28,000 new Mayflower descendants, B) MyHeritage that left me "hanging or forgot about me" (they just might need a reminder) or C) Ancestry who thinks it’s best to tell stories about CELEBRITIES and not the unwealthy (as in a lot of money), unacclaimed (as in not noticed) regular old simple guy like me that could give you folks a good lead on a simple idea for a new show, I Know Who I think I AM, I Could Just USE A HAND! OH WELL! By the way I Am cereal (as in serious)

HINT: Search this blog and find the picture of the Mayflower Sxxxxxx letter...

Oh, and a thought for the day...

The Goldfish The Goldfish Pond
by Dan Nippert

The goldfish pond is a place we can go and cast our reflections, marvel about life and try to understand its complexion.

We search the depths of our minds while letting our hands open and watch their little spirits drop into the fathoms of the waters consuming our thoughts and suspending the reality of it all.

Our stillness is solitude of awareness, energy and gathering of life's moments and the ecosystem of the pond.

It was a good day for the goldfish to die! Goodbye old friends and enjoy your new universe and have no cataclysmic despair of your demise.

The sun's golden rays glimmers the waters and through the years I will know where you are and I am happy.

Well Hello... again

2014-01-31T13:37:00.001-06:00

SORRY!

Guess what happened since my last post?

Finished with your three guesses?

I had a slight mishap... and found myself in the ICU for a week and the hospital for 6 (as in) Six more weeks. The fact is, even now, I am in out patient therapy and I am not sure when I will be back in the saddle... so thanks for bearing with me and hang in there. Sorry about the interview Joy I had no luck reaching you and gave up after several attempts. And I certainly hope that you, that seems to have forgot me really hasn't... I am ready as you are.

To anonymous, I say this... The blog is very hard to keep up from a hospital bed butt, even harder when your "right handed" arm doesn't work! Please contact me without the mystery and I will answer all of your questions.

Bye for now all... the arm and hand has had it for awhile.

The Next Month or so....

2013-10-22T10:11:00.002-05:00

Today marks the first day for me to; get back in the saddle, make a post, think about posting more posts, catch up, learn to Blog all over again AND open the lines to share some thoughts!

This little old Blog has over 10,000 hits and I'm happy to see and hear from many of you! I'm glad this reference and information has been of some help.

In fact I will be updating a few new connections soon...

Many thanks again to MyHeritage for hanging in there with me! Much appreciated!

Well, nothing like short and sweet for starters...

Be sure to tune in and watch this gradual Blog bring a projected 28,000 "new" never before identified, Mayflower Descendants’ into the forefront.

Move over Mayflower Society or lend me a hand it's up to you!

Dan and I'm at seedsgenealogy@live.com

Hello and Welcome

2012-09-13T15:26:00.001-05:00

Well, shall we all try to communicate once more? All you have todo is; join this blog or email seedsgenealogy@live.com or dannippert@live.com Simple Right?

I am working on a poetry project which will hopefully also contain short stories, a book, a history lesson and Geneaology of course. Let me know if you are interested you will be acknowledged as an interested party and a bit of history perhaps.

I was sorry to learn of the passing of Louise Nippert of Cincinnati she and her husband Louis were truly wonderful people. They were friends as well as relatives. There doors were always open and they were delightful hosts. Louis (passed away in '92) Louise was 100 years old when she died this past July! We all shared a number of stories, laughs, pictures and letters, not to say anything about our family tree of course.

Nip

Hope to Post again soon!

I'll bet I wasn't even missed?

2012-05-22T11:50:00.000-05:00

For the last three months I have been; finalizing technical concerns, source investigating, traveling, researching, looking for "lost ancestors" and doing a complete about face on this whole blog concept and looking at major revisions! I seem to be lacking the two way communication I had hoped to get. SO... stay tuned.

Still here

2012-02-20T17:42:00.002-06:00

I'm still here I simply haven't heard from anyone for a while. I am thinking I will compile a combined surname list and begin to branch out from the first generation to make it much easier to connect. I have had over 18 thousand matches and that has kept up busy. So keep silent or drop me a line at seedgenealogy@live.com I posted a tree on MyHeritage and it will be open to anyone interested in going back to the Mayflower and beyond. Also you will find me on Linkedin and maybe I'll find you.
