Pet Tips from a Celebrity Psychic

Just minutes into my phone interview with "Tinseltown's hottest uncannily accurate psychic" and the face of psychicgirl.com, the Los Angeles metropolitan area experienced one of the biggest earthquakes it's had for quite some time - and my subject was right where the action was.

But I suppose it's only fitting that such a surreal event interrupted my conversation with someone so extraordinary. After all, Justine Kenzer isn't just your everyday fashionista with a loveable personality – she's a renowned psychic with the unique ability to "intuitively [read] and [heal] individuals in and out of Hollywood's entertainment industry."

Miss Cleo, move over. This chic’s been published in just about every publication from Glamour to People and has read several A-list celebrities from your favorite shows, including former members of the Friends cast and those lovely ladies of Desperate Housewives. Most recently, she’s appeared on CBS's new hit reality show, Greatest American Dog, and had the pleasure of working with the show's oh-so-cuddly canines to help their owners learn a little bit more about their other half.

According to Justine, a former cat owner, reading for animals is not all that different than reading for people. She claims that she has the ability to look at the energy on anything, see an answer to a question and provide healing. And Justine was able to do just that on the show with both owners and dogs gathered around a table.

While the episode is set to air in September, you don't have to wait until then to begin fostering a more positive relationship with your pet. Using these simple communication tips straight from Justine, you and your pooch can be
on your way to bow-wow bliss.

*Visuals work better. Finally cashing in that vacation time on a fabulous trip to Tahiti? Instead of leaving your pet to wonder how long you’re going to be vacationing with a lousy last minute good-bye, Justine suggests that you take the time to show your pet with pictures how many times the sun and the moon will appear during your getaway. This way your pet can get a better sense of when to expect to see you again.

*Help Your Pet See What You See. Have a pet that is misbehaving? Instead of yelling at the pet for being naughty, Justine suggests that you put the visual of their misconduct in your mind and project that image into the animal’s mind to help them see what they did wrong.

*A Little Noise Goes a Long Way. Justine suggests that if you are leaving your pet in an empty house for the day, leave the television on as the visuals and sounds are comforting for an otherwise lonely pet.

*Give Your Animal the Same Water That You’re Drinking. If you wouldn’t want to put it in your body, Justine says that you probably shouldn’t be feeding it to your pet. Providing your pet with clean water can make a huge difference in the heath of your pet.

Project Runway: Season 5 Premiere

After months of anxiously awaiting the return of our favorite fashion design reality show, Project Runway Season 5 finally premiered last night! This season is going to fierce and only those who can "make it work" will be in the final three who get to show their collections at Olympus Fashion Week. Make sure you check out the designers bios--and learn about their fashion inspirations, education, and careers. This week's winner, Kelli, was the one who made the cut; we said auf wiedersehen to Jerry who's rainy day fun was stormed by the judges.

Each week, the designs will be up for bid, so you can actually own your favorite piece from the challenge.
