We ventured into the forest for Jen & Dom’s Expecting film photography session. You may remember these to lovelies from their wedding in MAURITIUS that we shot back in 2010. Since then we have become special friends with these two. Dom is the one I am always recommending because he works is magic to make this website the best it can be. Congrats guys! What a pleasure to photograph such a special time in your lives.

All images where shot with a medium format film camera and processed in California.

Glenmore House {Wedding}

Victoria & Mark chose Glenmore House in Surrey for their wedding. We where so lucky with the weather and the sun shone beautifully for us during the creative couple portraits. I can’t wait to hear all about the couple’s honeymoon as they went off to Orlando, Florida to Disney World! Now that is a first. We loved our time in Miami, Florida last year so we where just a tad bit jealous!

An all film maternity shoot in the forest is something I have been wanting to photograph for some time now. I follow the work of a number of all film photographers and this was my first pure film shoot for a portrait session. I did not take my digital camera with for backup / distraction and only concentrated on shooting with my beloved Contax 645 (medium format) film camera. I am beyond happy with the results. Thanks to Vicky & Jan for trusting me to shoot with that crazy film stuff !

I have wanted to try this hiding under the blanket shot ever since seeing it a couple of years back on Elizabeth Messina’s blog called KISS THE GROOM. I have ordered her book THE LUMINOUS PORTRAIT and I cannot wait for it to arrive!

These beautifully embellished Matthew Williamson Bridal gowns stood out to me at the Designer Wedding Show this year, so much so that I also used some of them in a styled bridal fashion shoot at The Connaught in London and I cannot wait to show you those images… but for now, these will have to do!

These beautiful, sparkly vintage inspired wedding shoes caught my eye at The Designer Wedding show. I have shot Emmy Shoes in some of my bridal fashion shoots but it was lovely to see the wide variety available on her stand. Custom made and ready to wear shoes are available in Emmy’s collection.

I am in love with Alice Templery’s designs and shot a few images of the stand at the Designer Wedding Show. I love everything about this stand too with the Union Jack trunk and beautiful white on white feel. The dresses are beautifully cut and the detailing is exquisite!

Very excited to share this rustic wooden wedding shoot that I did for You & Your Wedding Magazine. I worked with Peta Hunt who did the fashion styling and Sarah & Helen from Helen Carter Wedding who did the decor and still life styling on the day. Their attention to detail is second to none and I cannot recommend them enough!

Pastel Wedding Decor

Pastel shades are all over the catwalk this year and so the choice by Temple Gregory {Luxury wedding planners in London} to host their re-brand party at The Savoy in the pastel blue Lancaster Ballroom was perfectly on trend. The inspiration was taken from the decor of the room itself and a beautiful pastel pretty cake and dessert table was created by Crumbs! Couture and flowers by Emma Lappin and Euphoric Flowers.
