Ninja Theory, one of the highly acclaimed developers, is bringing Hellblade to Nintendo Switch.  If you haven’t played this amazing game yet, playing it on Nintendo Switch isn’t such a bad idea. Nintendo users are going to have a chance to get their hands on this critically acclaimed title soon enough.

Hellblade was released in early 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ever since its release, there have been rumors of a Nintendo Switch version. This is the first time we are hearing an official confirmation from the developers.

Today has been a good day for Nintendo Switch fans because the latest Nintendo Direct has given us plenty to talk about other than Hellblade. Platinum Games is bringing two new titles to Nintendo Switch.

The biggest Switch news right now is Bayonetta 3’s development update. During the Nintendo Direct, it was confirmed that Bayonetta 3 developers are working hard on the game. There hasn’t been much to talk about lately when it comes to Bayonetta 3. However, Nintendo assured fans that Platinum Games is taking care of things as speak. The development of Bayonetta is going smoothly and we should expect news soon.

Other than Bayonetta, there are two more games coming to Nintendo Switch from Platinum Games. One of the titles in Astral Chain while the other is yet to be announced. Both are new IPs and are going to be self-published by the studio.

We are all well familiar with the Bayonetta series and how it works. However, what is the Astral Chain? Well, it is a new action hack n slash game from the creators of Scalebound and Bayonetta 3.

The plot revolves around an alien invasion in a futuristic city. Your goal is to fend off the enemies and protect the human race. The art style of Astral Chain is similar to God Eater and Nier Automata is closest in terms of gameplay.

Bayonetta 3 is in development for Nintendo Switch but there have been very little news announcements from Platinum Games. The studio has been silent about the game’s release date, trailer, and gameplay details.

The latest Nintendo Direct came with some interesting tidbits about plenty of games but Nintendo took a few moments to speak about Platinum Games. According to Nintendo, fans can completely rest assured that Bayonetta 3 developer Platinum Games is working hard.

After revealing Astral Chain, an action-adventure hack and slash game for Nintendo Switch, Yoshiaki Koizumi discussed Bayonetta 3.

speaking about Platinum Games, I’m sure you’re very curious about Bayonetta 3. Rest assured the developers of Bayonetta 3 are hard at work and I hope you’re looking forward to learning more.

Nintendo Switch players should expect a new announcement in the coming months, close to E3 2019 possibly.

As for Astral Chain, The game looks somewhat similar to Bayonetta and Nier Automata. The anime art style puts it inline with games like God Eater as well.

Players of Platinum’s new IP will take on an alien race that invaded a futuristic city. You will have access to special skills and ability as well as special weapons to take on the hostile alien race.

Astral Chain is fast-paced and so players to Bayonetta 3 would feel like right at home.

Astral Chain and Bayonetta 3 aren’t the only games currently in development at Platinum Games. There is a third unannounced title being worked on at the studio.

This game is another self-published new IP from Platinum Games and is expected to be similar to its other projects. After the cancellation of  Scalebound, Platinum decided to self publish most of its projects.

Far Cry: New Dawn follows the same formula of its predecessors by combining exploration and adventure inside an open world that needs to be liberated from a band of tyrants. Hence, the latest installment will feel pretty familiar to those who have kept in touch with the long-running franchise.

However, even then, there is a clear indication that Ubisoft has tried to evolve with Far Cry: New Dawn in certain niches. The only problem is that the evolutionary phase has somehow shouldered the one thing that games like Far Cry: New Dawn desperately need — a staunch narrative.

The post-apocalyptic version of Hope County is possibly the prettiest setting to date in the franchise. The world will naturally pull you into its lush fields, thick forests, looming mountain ranges, underwater caverns, rusty bunkers, half-buried settlements, and everything else under a beautiful sky-box before you start wondering about the storyline.

Far Cry is expected to have a psychotic villain. Far Cry: New Dawn has two of them but they almost never show themselves in the starting chapters. Their only presence is in the form of threats over the radio and in letters left behind. This element swings both ways. There is just so much to see and do that you might possibly give it a pass. However, those looking forward to a new Vaas Montenegro are likely to be feel detached. No one is going to tell you the definition of insanity, at least not in the initial ten or so hours of progress.

You play an unnamed protagonist who is only recognized by his rank as a security captain to Thomas Rush, a revered hero who helps rebuild communities. This is where the walls of Prosperity open up. The settlement is your newfound home and a refuge for locals who are trying to get away from the Highwaymen, a nationwide gang of marauders led by the twin sisters Mickey and Lou. Rush is the one who stays behind to oversee operations, leaving you to scour the outdoors for anything and anyone to further expand and build Prosperity.

Getting your base up and running is core to the experience. Prosperity contains several facilities that give different benefits such as crafting weapons, vehicles, explosives, treasure maps, and such. While finding and bringing back specialists will help further improve those facilities, everything depends upon ethanol. The rare resource is what the Highwaymen are always after and the only way to obtain some for yourself is to take over their outposts. This liberation element returns in Far Cry: New Dawn but with a pretty laudable twist.

You can take over an outpost up to three times by scavenging it to produce more ethanol but giving back control to the Highwaymen in return. Every liberation increases the difficulty levels with the outpost becoming more fortified with more challenging enemies. This replay value does not overly feel like a grind because you will mostly be unable to match the higher tier enemies with lower tier weapons. There is a balance to gameplay. You just have to continue adventuring and only return once you are finally ready.

The other new feature to extend longevity is the introduction of expeditions. They are a series of incursions that take place outside of Hope County and yield rare loot for the continued improvements of Prosperity. Every expedition begins by dropping you off outside of a closed-world location. Your task is to gear up, infiltrate the compound, loot a designated package, and get out. This is easier said than done because while you can opt for stealth at the beginning, picking up the package automatically activates a GPS sensor that attracts an endless wave of enemies. The action-packed situation becomes even more brutal when you have to hold out at the extraction point until the helicopter arrives.

Expeditions are probably one of the best additions to the franchise. It is not just about the loot, which you can obtain from anywhere in Hope County — circuit boards are pretty rare though. It is about overcoming a new challenge to get a leg up on the Highwaymen, or you could treat expeditions as end-game content after you have cleared the main campaign.

Far Cry: New Dawn also adds a few quality-of-life improvements to the old systems. The number of Perks are far lesser than before, with many being palmed off to different facilities at your home base, making it easier and cleaner for you to unlock the Perks you want fairly quickly. There are also fewer companions this time around but each comes with an additional ability, and they all can be recruited easily by completing their respective side missions. Unlike Boomer, Timber actually rides with you on the passenger seat in Far Cry: New Dawn.

The weapons category, however, has in a way been overhauled. There are now four color coded tiers starting from a basic grey to a golden elite. Some weapons are exclusive to a tier, while others are found repeatedly in each but in an upgraded form. The starting tier bow, for example, is made out of a tree branch but the golden version out of carbon fiber.

The color coding extends to the enemies as well. Hence, you will be signing your death warrant when trying to face a golden elite Enforcer with a rickety grey rifle. Your bullets will not even penetrate their armor. That being said, you will not be purely limited to the weapons you can craft. There will always be plenty of weapons to pick up from fallen enemies.

Far Cry: New Dawn unsurprisingly also brings back microtransactions. You can purchase bundles of assorted crafting materials through Far Cry Credits with real-world currency. However, they are not disruptive because the overall economy is pretty generous. In fact, certain missions will actually reward you with Far Cry Credits to spend on some of the premium cosmetic options.

In the end, Far Cry: New Dawn features a finely tuned open-world that is beaming with life and death. This is as good as it gets in the franchise, provided that you are willing to give a pass to the storyline. The end-game opportunities are something to consider, particularly when going off on expeditions with the cooperative mode and being able to level up some of the final weapons as long as you have enough ethanol. Those who have been on a hiatus because of feeling burned are promised a refreshing experience.

The battle royale games, Apex Legends, from the creators of the Titanfall series has taken the world by storm. Respawn’s title has amassed millions of players already, so of course, accessibility questions have risen up. One of them being if Apex Legends would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Respawn said that while they would love to port the game there, currently there aren’t any plans to do so.

Respawn does want high amounts of accessibility for Apex Legends, that includes Nintendo Switch users. They’ve already talked about cross-play between platforms in the future so it’s not very far fetched to assume that we could be seeing a future Switch port. The game’s gonna be accessible almost anywhere, except Iran.

Apex Legends is the latest addition to the Battle royale trend. A sequence of games that PUBG and Fortnite initially caused a surge of popularity. Yes yes, I know they weren’t the first, and there’s gonna be that one gamer with a PHD going “bUt H1Z1 wAs ThE fIrSt”. Listen, the point is that people didn’t know Battle royale that much until those two came along.

Anyways, Titanfall 2 did not do well at all despite having an amazing story and campaign mode. Something that was missing from the original game. EA has also been in a downwards spiral of sorts with the shabby launch of Battlefield 5 and the controversy behind the microtransaction paywalls in Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Apex Legends came in at the perfect time, managing to recover most of EA’s stocks that they lost during the BFV launch. The publishers owe a lot to Respawn for releasing their battle royale when they did.

The game’s still relatively fresh and while Respawn doesn’t currently have plans for Apex Legends on the Nintendo Switch, time will be able to tell. Fingers are crossed.

It’s pretty common for game developers to share each other’s content. Whether that’s for promotion or just their own pure interest. It’s a bit unusual when the content is shared twice though. This was the case with Shinji Hashimoto. You may all know him as the Kingdom Hearts co-creator who’s in fact retweeted Nintendo Direct’s announcement not once, but twice.

Nintendo Direct is basically the Japanese company’s way of staying in touch with their consumers. This is done in monthly intervals with announcements related to the latest Nintendo product. This time being the Nintendo Switch.

The double retweet by Mr. Shinji implies that the announcement could be related to either Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy since he’s worked on that as well. My most plausible theory is that we could be seeing Sora being added to the roster of Super Smash Ultimate. They did recently add a plant so it’s not very far fetched.

Regarding Final Fantasy, this could be related to the confirmation of FF VII getting confirmed to be receiving a Nintendo Switch port. Perhaps a gameplay demo or even a proper preview.

Several datamine leaks speculated on potential additions to the Smash Ultimate out of which Sora wasn’t present in either. Either Nintendo is really good at keeping secrets, or Sora isn’t coming to Smash.

What else could Nintendo Direct be announcing? Perhaps an update to the Mortal Kombat 11 port onto it. A port which was delayed on the Switch in Europe not too long ago.

On the more far fetched side of things, a port of Kingdom Hearts 3 on the Nintendo Switch would be pretty appreciated. That would also sort of go with the retweets that Mr. Shinji so enthusiastically shared with his fans and followers.

Metro Exodus, the third entry in the series of Metro games developed by 4A Games, will be releasing on Friday, February 15, a week ahead of when it was eventually supposed to. However, Metro Exodus review scores are also coming out for it now, and they paint a good picture of a great game.

Metro Exodus continues the story of the Russian named Artyom, who has previously been on a quest to help humanity re-emerge from the dark caverns of the Moscow subway system. As he travels out into the newly-thawing wasteland on a gigantic Soviet-era train, Artyom will be coming across supernatural phenomena, horrific monsters, and small civilizations of humans of a variety of cultures, with various minor decisions to be made that will dictate what type of ending you get.

We don’t really know what the game will involve yet aside from what likely will be a series of encounters with monsters, bandits, and other human groups, but knowing the Metro games there’s likely much more to the story that we don’t know just yet.

So far, the Metro Exodus review scores are painting a very positive picture of the game. Most of the scores, while not perfect, at least net the game up to either 9 or 8, and even a 9.5 at its highest from AusGamers. Push Square gave the game its lowest score at a 6 out of 10, so there’s a good range of different opinions on it that likely come from various technical issues or personal tastes that reviews often feature.

Either way, the Metro Exodus review scores being so positive at least means that 4A is continuing their track record of making the games. The game will be coming out on February 15 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, but keep in mind that the PC version will only be coming out on the Epic Games Store.

There have been rumors for a number of years about a Star Fox racing game being in the making by Nintendo. Those rumors are now starting again, but is there any truth to them? Probably not, especially since anything Star Fox that’s not flying tends to turn out pretty bad.

The game would allegedly be developed by Retro Studios, and there would supposedly be a spring release and even a beta in the making after an announcement at the February 13 Nintendo Direct. Considering that the Nintendo Direct is apparently supposed to be focusing on Fire Emblem: The Three Houses, however, it’s likely that the rumor is completely baseless.

Star Fox has had a shaky history over the past few years, with a few games that were well-reviewed and a few that ended up not-so-well reviewed, such as Star Fox Adventure, which while introducing Krystal still gave us a very forgettable RPG that didn’t even really have a place in Star Fox.

So why a racing game? Even though Star Fox is all about flying, there’s at least enough possible content for one. Racing around in space in Arwings and other ships against a variety of other Star Fox characters can sound fun, so long as it’s done correctly, and there’s plenty of different planets, characters, and ships to choose from.

The original rumormongering post comes from a GameFAQs user by the name of Vergeben, who made the original prediction about the Star Fox racing game and has previously gotten information right about Smash Bros, so he at least has a reputation for being reliable.

When the rumors originally started, his claims were backed up by multiple other websites as well, meaning that there is at least some evidence that makes it somewhat believable that there’s a Star Fox racing game coming out. However, one has yet to materialize, and it’s unlikely that Nintendo will announce one today as it shows off its newest offering of Fire Emblem.

Whether Nintendo actually announces the Star Fox racing game remains to be seen, but we’ll probably learn whether or not the rumors are true when today’s Nintendo Direct starts.

If you’re a fan of wrestler Booker T, then you’re likely familiar with the various different personas that he puts on in the ring. Now, one of these personas is at the center of an Activision Call of Duty lawsuit that Booker T has leveled against the company just recently.

One of Booker T’s personas is known as “G.I. Bro”, a soldier-like persona that is one of five different gimmicks that Booker T switches between. However, due to, in Booker T’s own words, Activision copying it for the Black Ops 4 character Prophet (specifically in how he looks in a series of comics that were prequels to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.) Going by that, Black Ops 4’s depiction of Prophet (and by that logic, G.I. Bro) makes it a derivative work.

This isn’t the first time that a celebrity has sued over their alleged appearance in a video game, either. Lindsay Lohan has sued Rockstar Games multiple times over them allegedly using her appearance in Grand Theft Auto 5 (on a piece of cover and loading screen art no less), but that’s been thrown out of court.

The Activision Call of Duty lawsuit was filed in Texas and targets Activision Publishing, Activision-Blizzard, and Major League Gaming, specifically for selling Call of Duty Black Ops 4 while still profiting off of the G.I. Bro persona. Whether this will end up holding any water in court remains to be seen, but there’s no telling if the lawsuit will even end up going through or not.

Since Activision had one of its best years in a long time (which they decided to celebrate by laying off 800 employees, just in case you forgot that they’re almost as bad as Electronic Arts), they may just elect to settle out of court rather than fight a costly legal battle. But if any more information comes up about this Activision Call of Duty lawsuit, we’ll be sure to report it.

Alien Blackout is both an Android and iOS RPG where players take the role of Amanda Ripley, famous Ellen Ripley’s daughter, who is trapped in a spaceship with a few other survivors.

The mission is to go through each level in the spaceship and protect your scientists as well as yourself from the aliens that will be coming your way. You have to help the scientists complete their tasks on each level meanwhile keeping an eye out for the xenomorph.

Alien Blackout Beginners Guide

Completing these tasks will help your escape from the Weyland-Yutani space station. There will be seven levels in the game whose difficulty level will be increased by each level to a point where it will be almost impossible to complete the game.

There are some important tips for the game and if the player keeps these in mind, then playing the game would not be just as hard.

1. Interacting and Protecting your Team

Order your crew for directions by either drawing a safe path for them from one point to another where you see is a less chance of aliens attacking or you can also click them and then the location on the map you want them to visit.

While your crew will be completing tasks, you will be busy in protecting and monitoring the crew from Xenomorph. Xenomorph are attracted to crew the most when they are busy doing their task.

These aliens can appear anywhere in the spaceship while you are busy so look carefully for the signs of their arrival.

Use headphones as the sound of the game changes when aliens are near, this will help you in knowing that they are coming and you can plan something.

Do not take chance and quickly command them to hide even if you are not sure whether the aliens are coming or not.

Your crew can also sometimes warn you about their arrival so listen to your crew as well. If you hear something in the air vents, that means that the Xenomorph is coming for you, hide quickly.

Keep an eye on the Cameras and Motion Tracker Zones and if you see the Xenomorph close, command your crew to hide.

If you see a Xenomorph coming and there is still some time for the blackout then it is best that you order your crew to hide even if you cannot see the alien. Do not take Risks.

Always search for escape routes or operational doors when you see that a Xenomorph has detected your crew’s location. There is still the and you can either shut the order or command your crew to sneak through the escape route.

Keep this in mind that whenever you will command your crew, the aliens will be able to listen too so be careful and make sure to hide after your crew is safe.

2. Always Leave One Power Slot Available

The whole crew, including Amanda, will be at their lowest if the Power Slots are all empty. These slots are needed to interact with the tools in the spaceship and after every interaction – one slot is emptied.

When you see the Xenomorph approaching, you can either close the door or activate the Motion Tracker Zone.

From the five power slots always save one for this emergency. If you see that the alien has located your crew’s or your location then or if you can hear them coming then activate the door or the tracker.

3. Use Headphones

Headphones are necessary in this game as the variations in sound and the movement of aliens when they approach you or when they move through the air vents is needed to be heard carefully to order your crew and to prepare yourself to hide or sneak out.

The clues for closing the hatches will also come through audio. You have to tell whether the sound is coming from left or right and if you fail then you would have to restart the level.

4. Confuse the Alien

When you see an alien approaching your crewmember, you can buy him some few seconds to escape by messing with the alien. Close the door of the room where the alien is. It will try to find another exit.

Open the door as soon as you see him walking towards the exit hence making him walk back to the exit and then again close the door.

This does not work for a long period but can give your crew enough time to either sneak or hide away from the alien.

5. Cameras and Motion Tracker Zones

If you ever, ever hear a sound that is closely suspicious to the sound that the aliens might be good towards you crew then act quickly and activate your MTZ to find the location of that alien. Look through the camera if you cannot find it.

Keep tracking monsters and keeping an eye on them from time to time to protect your crew.

6. Making It till the End with the Whole Crew

Your game does not require making it through the levels with all the crewmembers but it is not an advantage.

In total you have four crewmembers for a game of seven levels and believe me oh you, the increasing difficulty of the levels makes it impossible to complete them.

If you lose your crewmember in any level, sure, you can still make through, but it would be much better if you restart the level and play it again until all of them make it through the levels. There is also an achievement for doing this.

I find it funny but if you let someone die, your crew will keep reminding you of it. You do not want them to haunt you alongside the aliens.

7. Timing

With all the stress of protecting your crew and completing the tasks with keeping an eye on the cameras and MTZs, there is another thing the game stresses you, time limit.

For each level, Amanda aka you will be provided with only seven minutes. You have to locate your crew to the locations and while they complete the tasks, you have to protect them, all this in only seven minutes.

If you are not able to complete it in the given time then the level will restart.

2. Bastion from Overwatch

One of Pathfinder’s poses that players can access from the customization options is called “For the Birds” that involves him getting attacked by a bird.

This is a nice little nod to Overwatch’s Bastion who has a benevolent relationship with nature and often interacts with a little bird.

3. Dog Plushie

This is a little nod to one of the developers’ dog who passed away recently. It can be found in the southwest corner of the training/tutorial map, hidden between a few small rock ledges.

4. Latsimosa Armory

Another Easter egg from a prior Respawn game. If you have played Titanfall 2, then you probably know about one of the major characters i.e. Tai Latsimosa.

He was your captain and it was through him that you gained control of your titan. There are many weapon frames around the map stamped with his personal brand Latsimosa Armory.

5. Misc. Secrets

The hidden additional content goes beyond just Easter Eggs as you can also find quite a few secrets within Apex Legends.

One example of this is the special lootbox. Keep an eye out for a small robot who is hidden in multiple areas around the map and it is usually the mark of a hidden stash within certain buildings.

This stash includes some very high tier pieces of gear once you smash it open, which is bound to give you an advantage over your enemies.

Although the game has set with 3 main categories (Rare, Legendary and Epic), there is an ultra-rare hidden set with a 1% drop rate and no category. This is the Apex Legends Heirloom set. It comes with a series of times that are locked to Wraith:

• Knife Skin
• Intro Quip
• Banner Pose

Now, due to the overly hectic and rushing nature of the gameplay since the player is constantly fighting to survive and win, there is still a quite a lot more world to explore and things to discover. Meaning Apex Legends has even more secrets waiting to be found.

Respawn’s Apex Legends is not a complicated game but there are some little-known features and Apex Legends Advanced Tactics that you can use to win more.

Apex Legends have been out for quite a while and so we have learned more about the game and here are few tips that might improve your gameplay and bring you one step closer to becoming a Champion.

Apex Legends Advanced Tactics

Each area has different tier loot, when you land at an area or enter an area, its name along with which tier of loot is available there, will be displayed at the top left corner of the screen.

However, if you are really looking for some epic loot then try the Hot Zone.

The Hot Zone is marked with a blue circle on the map during the landing phase, a blue light emitting from them in the game can also identify them. They have some of the best loot there including fully kitted Golden Weapons.

However, beware; you will not be the only one coming for the Hot Zone. Usually, 3 to 4 squads pick that spot, so be ready to face them once you land.

Alternately, you can try the supply ships found flying over the map in different spots. They are small ships but have some high tier loot.

Although there is a dispute over the ship against a few squads, the situation is not as bad compared to the Hot Zones.

However, keep in mind the loot on supply ship is also limited, so your whole squad may not be armed to the teeth when you are done looting the ship.

1. Golden Loot

Once you have survived the Hot Zone, you deserve a pat on the back, as it is not an easy task to accomplish. While looting Hot Zone, you will come across Golden Loots.

Now, there are two types of golden loots, the Golden Weapons, and the golden gear. Keep in mind, that you can also get these Golden Weapons from the drop.

The Golden weapons include all of the weapons that you usually find throughout the map, but the golden version of that weapon would be fully kitted with best attachments.

Along with these Golden Weapons, there are two exclusive Golden Weapons, the golden 50 cal sniper, Kraber and the golden shotgun mastiff. Both of these weapons are S tier weapons, and they can absolutely demolish the enemies.

The Golden Gear has the same stats as Purple Loot, except, the Golden loot comes with some perks.

Golden Helmet charge your Ultimate skills faster, Golden Armor fully recharges your shield after an execution, Golden Backpack speeds up your health and shield consumptions, and finally, the Golden KO Shields can be used to revive yourself when downed.

2. Don’t Count Yourself out When You Are Dead

Like most of the games, once the player has been downed, he can be revived by his teammates.

However, in Apex legends along with that, there is an additional feature, that allows the player to be brought back even if he has been killed in the downed state.

When a player has been completely killed off, his teammates can grab his banner from his loot box and use it on a Respawn Beacon to bring him back from the dead.

However, there is only a set amount of time to pick up the banner before it expires, so finish the combat quickly if you want your friend back in action.

You do not need to personally have a dead player’s banner to use the Respawn Beacon. If a teammate is carrying the banner, anyone can use the beacon.

When the teammate has been brought back, he will be dropped on the Beacon via a dropship. The dropship does not exactly come in quietly, so expect some company, as enemies can hear the dropship from quite a distance.

Also, keep in mind that your ally respawning will come empty-handed, so do not loot the supply bins near the Respawn Beacons, have some humility and leave something for the poor guy.

3. Zone

The map of Apex is not as huge as Fortnite or PUBG that is why there are not any vehicles to use. Therefore, making your way inside the safe zone is not a big deal.

However, in the later circles, it is best to stay inside the circle, to gain a better vantage point.

Because if you are rushing inside the circle at the last minute, you may find yourself in a very sticky situation, under fire from multiple squads who have already reserved their spot inside the circle.

Although the circle can be reached fairly fast, if you still want to make time, and then holster your weapon, this allows you to run faster. On PC weapon can be holstered by pressing 3. On consoles, press hold either Y or Triangle.

Alternately, you can use balloons to quickly fly inside the zone.

You may have noticed structures that have a balloon on top of them. They are fairly obvious to see so you cannot miss them if you view over any town.

The balloons launch you in the air where you can maneuver and get yourself inside the zone very fast, it can also be used for other purposes, like getting a jump on an unaware enemy.

4. Use Ping System

Another great feature added in Apex Legend is the pinging system. This is a great substitute to voice chat. If you do not feel comfortable talking to the strangers online, the pinging system has got you covered.

Using pings, you can mark the area where you want, you and your team to proceed next or the loot that you want your teammates to have.

You can also mark enemies with it, so instead of confusing your teammates by says, “The Enemy is there or here”, do both yourselves a favor and use the ping to precisely mark the location of enemies.

The default key for pinging on PC is the middle mouse button. I am not sure what the key is on the consoles. Use a single ping to mark loot and places to explore next and use double ping to mark enemies.

Additionally, you can ping your own weapon in inventory to request ammo for it. You can also respond to ping markers. Point at a ping, and open the ping wheel by press holding the ping key. You can reply with “agree”, “disagree”, or “I can’t”.

5. Parkour

By now, Apex legend has to be the smoothest Battle Royale experience out there. There are several mobility options added to the game.

You can run and slide by interrupting the sprinting animating with crouching, transitioning from sprint to slide, you can again press sprinting key to transition back to sprinting.

Use this to chain multiple sprints into a slide into the sprint to evade very effectively and to cover more distance.

However, keep in mind that you have to sprint a small distance before you can slide otherwise you will not have enough momentum to do so.

Another aspect of parkour is that you can wall run. If you think a wall is very high, you might be able to climb it by wall running.

To do so, approach the wall and press hold the jump key and your character will run and grab the ledge of the wall and vault over.

6. Draw Backs and Additional Benefits of Abilities

While deploying Wraith’s portals you run faster, so you can get out of places faster.

However, Wraith’s portals are a double-edged sword. While you and your teammate can use these portals, enemies can also use them.

Wraith can also clock use her cloaking ability during her ultimate. However, her cloaking ability also has some major issues.

While you can ignore any damage when cloaked, you leave a blue trail behind you, so enemies can easily track your movements.

Lifeline’s drone can heal her as well as her teammates, but keep in mind that it can also heal the enemies. When facing Lifeline, either destroy the drone first or jump in with her to receive some healing for yourself too.

Lifeline’s ultimate can drop anything except for weapons. Enemies can see the visual effects of Bloodhunter’s area scan so keep that in mind when rushing in after spotting the enemy, as he might be expecting you.

Bloodhunter’s ultimate also allows him to see all living thing in a vibrant red color. He can differentiate between Mirage and his decoys. Keep that in mind when bamboozling him.

Bloodhunter can also see through smoke, so if you use Bangalore’s smoke against him, you will be essentially shooting yourself in the foot.

Both Bangalore and Gibraltar can call in an air strike on an area. However, keep in mind that these can also harm your allies, so wait for them to finish before rushing in. The same thing is with Caustics’ gas – it can affect allies nearby.

7. Executions

The closest thing to dance from Fortnite to show your opponent who is a superior player is an Execution. Executions can be attempted on a downed player once you are close enough.

The only practical use of this is that either you do not have enough bullets to finish off the enemy or you just want to style on him.

Keep in mind that while executions look very cool, they take quite a bit of time to be performed and during that time, you are completely vulnerable. Moreover, your executions can be easily interrupted if players are shooting at you.

Therefore, do not perform these in an open area where you know the enemy has a line of sight on you, as this way, you will end up with a grey screen.

8. Extras

When you collect a new gun, all the compatible attachments will automatically transfer to your new weapon.

In Apex Legends, surviving alone is harsh so it is better to stick around your teammates and at the off chance you are away from your teammates, you can see a flash appears next to their icon when they’re shooting, indicating that they have engaged in a gunfight.

Therefore, rush over to help before your team is annihilated and you are left alone. Again, as previously mentioned it can be harsh surviving alone.

Melee attacks do only measly 30 points of damage, so they are not very good. However, one good use of melee attack is that it will knock open doors. This is not very practical but looks cool when you blast your way inside a building.

The color of the crate left behind by dead bodies indicates the rarity of the gear they are carrying. Therefore, jump onto the Purple or Golden ones.

1. The Hot Zone

At the start of the match, this area can be easily identified by a small blue circle on the map. This area is by far the best location to drop. Why is that so? It is because this area has the most top-tier and most amount of loot there is.

Therefore, if you and your squad want to go for the win, this is the location for the best loot.

The only problem is that as the name suggests the area is a hot zone and it will crawling with other players trying to get the loot before you do. So be ready for a fight!

2. The Supply Ship

The Supply Ship spawns at the start of every match and moves in a path different from that of the Dropship. You can land on the dropship if your landing skills are very precise.

This place might also be filled with a few squads but the loot here is really good such that your whole squad can be fully packed with top tier loot.

If you do not want to go to the ship directly you can wait until later part of the game when it lands on the ground and you can hop on board but there is a high chance that it will be already be looted so we do not recommend going on it later.

3. Thunderdome

This place is located in the southwest corner of the map thus also suggesting that most people do not land here often and your squad can loot this place quickly and head to the vast area of Skull Town to get even more loot but might run into a few squads there. This place has good loot so do consider it.

4. Relay

Relay that is located at the northeast side of the map can be a peaceful place to land just like Thunderdome. You can find good loot for you squad here and after looting head into the circle.

5. Airbase

Another place far from the hot areas of the map where you can find pretty decent loot. As the name suggests, it is an airbase containing airplanes and you can loot the insides of them too.

6. Water Treatment

The loot here is random meaning that it can sometimes be moderately good or sometimes of high tier.

Even though the place is far away from the other places on the map we say that you should try this place out at least once to see how you will find the place.

God Eater 3 Weapons

The descriptions below focus on the use of a weapon without considering how Burst Arts will change the utility and capabilities of each weapon.

These Arts will enhance the damage potential, range, and speed of the weapons and you can learn all about them in our separate guide linked above.

1. Short Blade

Short Blade is a versatile weapon with great utility in the air. Short Blade grants you the ability to perform Air Dash that has invisibility frames.

Rising Edge that can be performed by pressing R1 + Square is an uppercut slash that allows you to switch your momentum from ground to aerial combat. Short Blade is by far the best weapon to inflict a status ailment.

2. Long Blade

A well-rounded weapon that is the jack of all trades when it comes to damage, speed, and range. The Zero Stance that can be performed by pressing R1 + Square through which the player can cancel into multiple combo strings.

Once already in Zero Stance, pressing R1 + Square again will let the player perform the Impulse Edge attack that fires a gunblast from the God Arc but uses OP.

3. Charge Spear

A weapon that is quick to initiate to utilize in battle. Charge Glide can be performed on the ground and as well as in air by holding Square. The Backflip that can help you get out from tough spots can be performed by pressing R1 + Square.

Damage boost can be achieved after using the Charge Glide. The damage buff is reset if you get interrupted in your attack. These disturbances include receiving a hit, blocking, or being Devoured.

4. Buster Blade

The Buster Blade is a perfect weapon for defensive service and broad swings. Charge Rush can be performed by holding Square while on the ground. Parry Upper can be used to counter attacks by pressing R1 + Square.

5. Variant Scythe

This weapon is a form changer at different intervals. Round Fang can be performed by pressing R1 + Square that increases the damage at the tip of the Scythe and is a long-ranged swing.

By pressing Square again will throw more swings and regenerate OP. After Round Fang, if Triangle is pressed, it will perform Vertical Fang that is a slam attack on the ground.

Cleave Fang a finisher can be performed by pressing R1+ Square after performing Vertical Fang. This move allows the user to retract the blade back performing damage to the enemy.

The more closely the enemy, the more damage he will take. Stamina drains while using these attacks.

6. Boost Hammer

A relatively high damage weapon but is only for short range. Boost Ignition can be performed by pressing R1 + Square.

While in this mode pressing Square will activate Boost Rush this enables the user to perform infinite combos at close range if you keep pressing Square.

If you press Triangle instead of Square, you will perform Boost Drive that is a dash attack that can also cancel into itself.

After these attacks, Boost Impact can be performed if you press R1 + Square that is a finisher move. Stamina drains while using these attacks.

7. Heavy Moon

This weapon boasts three forms, unlike any other weapon. The Chakram form supports the base Square and Triangle attacks that are all quick and are slash attacks.

The Axe form allows you to perform 505/50 Slash Attacks as well as Crush split moves where the damage increases proportionally with your OP Gauge, maxing out at 150 OP.

The Moon Axe attack can be triggered with R1+Square followed by Moon Slash by pressing Triangle at no extra stamina cost.

Finally, the Saw form lets you charge the Raging Moon attack by holding Square while tapping the same button will increase the duration of the saw attack.

8. Biting Edge

Using this weapon, you are given access to two forms. The Dual Blades is the default form that allows you to perform regular slash attacks. The real utility lies in the weapon’s second form i.e. Glaive, which you can switch to by inputting R1+Square.

Although you will not be able to guard, devour or recover stamina in this form, you can perform an infinite combo that is very useful for building OP by pressing Square.

When you have landed a total of 20 hits, irrespective of whether it was in a combo or outside it, the weapon gives you a boost in damage, speed, and the range indicated by the red glow.

Lastly, inputting R1+Triangle in Glaive form performs the Aerial Bolt, a lethal finishing attack.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play Battle Royale game and is giving quite a competition to the likes of Fortnite, PUBG, and Black Ops 4. However, the PC version of Apex Legends is facing problems on Nvidia RTX GPUs.

Nvidia RTX GPU owners are reporting that Apex Legends in constantly crashing for them. While it isn’t clear why the game is crashing but reports suggest that Nvidia driver version 418.81 is the one causing the game to crash.

Also, it’s unclear if Nvidia is aware of the issues. I hope that Nvidia will fix Apex Legends crashing issue for RTX GPUs owners with a driver update.

Speaking of the game, Apex Legends has attracted over 25 million players since its launch. Not only that, the game is also the reason behind EA’s stock to rise again.

EA’s stock saw a significant drop following its recent earnings call. The reason for the drop in EA’s stock was low Battlefield V sales. According to EA, these low Battlefield 5 sales were due to its single-player campaign.

According to EA CEO, Battle Royale was extremely popular in 2018 but, DICE decided to delay the Firestorm mode and focused on the single-player campaign.

However, Respawn Entertainment is also working on a Star Wars game titles “Jedi Fallen Order”. During the earnings call, EA revealed that Jedi Fallen Order gameplay will be revealed soon. EA CEO and CFO got to play the game and both are describing it as spectacular.

With Anthem just around the corner, EA is expecting both Anthem and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order to succeed. But,  EA execs dumping millions worth of stock just a few weeks before Anthem’s launch indicates that things aren’t looking great.

EA executives dumping stocks indicates that they don’t have faith in the game to be successfull. However, I will reserve my judgement until the game is released.

Activision and Bungie parted ways recently and while that is believed to be a good thing for Destiny, we still didn’t know exactly what happened? But that has changed now that Activision itself has released a clarification on the matter. Activision and Bungie parted ways because of Destiny not meeting expectations and the publisher couldn’t add “new revenue streams” to Destiny 2.

Activision wanted more control over the franchise but Bungie didn’t allow it beyond a certain point. This created an issue and a strained relationship between the developer and publisher of Destiny series. Activision presented three main reasons that ended up Bungie taking Destiny and walking away.

Why Bungie Parted Ways With Activision?

• The lack of microtransactions, new engagement models, and revenue streams which the publisher wanted to add to Destiny 1, 2
• Destiny was not meeting revenue expectations
• Activision had its internal resources supplementing Bungie’s work, tying up one of their “scarcest resources” which is development time

Activision’s Chief Operative Officer Coddy Johnson stated during an investor’s conference call that parting ways with Bungie is a mutual decision. Both parties agreed that it is time to end the development relationship. Bungie has now full control of Destiny and can create Destiny 3 without any interference from Activision.

In a statement, Bungie confirmed that Destiny 3 will happen and currently the development team is grasping what it truly means to be independent. The studio will continue to support Destiny 2 and the franchise overall in the coming year.

Destiny 3 release date and announcement isn’t expected any time soon as Bungie is currently transitioning out of Activision.

Fallout 76 sales are drastically affected by how the game’s development and PR are handled. The situation is now at a point where Seagate Germany is dumping stock by bundling copies of the game with HDDs. Free copies are given to buyers of Seagate hard drives which begs the question, is the sales numbers are so dire, should the game go free to play?

Fallout 76 going free to play is probably the only way to attract new players. The monetization model of the game is already similar to a free to play title. Microtransactions are at the heart of everything you do in Fallout 76. Such a model is acceptable in free to play games and since the community isn’t buying into Bethesda’s attempts to revive the Fallout 76, a free to play version would help matters at this point.

Previously, Australian retailers reportedly sent physical copies of the game back to Bethesda. The news strongly indicated that the publisher may be looking into going all digital and free to play.

Although Bethesda denied such rumors and reports, they refuse to die since Fallout 76 sales failed to meet sales expectations. According to a report from Super Data, Fallout 76 sold 1.4 million copies on all three platforms during its launch month. Fallout 76 physical sales numbers are 80% down compared to Fallout 4.

Fallout 76 is the worst rated Fallout game in the series and its issues ranged from Microtransactions and severe game breaking bugs. It isn’t far fetched to think Bethesda will consider Fallout 76 free to play release in the coming months.

Easter eggs in games are an adored practice in the industry. Especially when they’re done right as well. Respawn hasn’t strayed from this tradition since we might have just discovered an Easter egg in their latest title. As we can see in this video here, Apex Legends is actually hiding the Loch Ness Monster in the game.

So the easter egg was accessed by these players when they ran around the map, shooting Loch Ness Monster dolls. These weren’t just random objects they were shooting, since there was actually hit registration and damage numerals on the dolls.

This means the developers definitely did intend for the dolls to be shot apart. What happened after was slightly more difficult to describe.

We see a giant figure slowly emerge from the water. At first it just looks like a land formation but eventually after staring at it, you realize that it’s sentient. After towering over the surface of the water, Nessy simply swims further ahead until vanishing out of view.

It’s worth noting that these players managed to crack this easter egg within a Battle royale game. That’s pretty cool. You could tell within the clip itself that they were being shot at as well as fried by the closing ring.

The full walkthrough to how this Apex Legends easter egg is accessed is yet to be revealed. Presumably, it involves roaming the map and looking for the dolls to shoot. Once you shoot all of them, Apex Legends reveals its Loch Ness Monster. There might be an order to which doll you shoot first. It’s also unsure if Nessy appears wherever the last doll is shot, or specifically only in that location.

Now if you do pay attention to the surroundings during the initial drop at the beginning of any Apex Legends match. You’ll notice a few giant hulking creatures with long legs and necks on the horizon. Just minding their own business. Perhaps the monster we see in this easter egg was one of those but submerged?

Either way, Apex Legends has definitely made its mark on the gaming population. Kudos to Respawn Entertainment for that.

Black Ops 4 didn’t have bad reception. In fact, the game was killing it at some points. One thing that the game did deviate from is the campaign mode. Black Ops 4 was completely devoid of any single player gameplay, something the franchise hasn’t done before. Call of Duty have now assured, however, that they will be bringing single-player campaign back for the next game.

Activision Blizzard’s president Rob Kostich spoke about the Call of Duty installment that the company has planned for 2019.

“An entirely new campaign, a huge and expansive multiplayer world, and some fun co-op gameplay. And then, if I look even further ahead to what Dennis mentioned, it’s worth mentioning again this fall’s launch, I think, is going to resonate very powerfully with our community. It is an amazing game.”

This game will be developed by Infinity Ward, the studio behind Infinite Warfare, another Call of Duty game. One that didn’t do nearly as well as Black Ops 4 has.

The Activision CEO Bobby Kotick also added to the statement, putting quite a lot of weight behind just how good the upcoming Call of Duty game will exactly be:

“And I’ll just say, you know, when you look over the last decade of Call of Duty content, I think that Rob is underselling what the internal enthusiasm is. I haven’t seen this much enthusiasm that I can remember almost ever. So, we’re excited about the fall release of Call of Duty content.”

I will be honest though, the enthusiasm of developer and publisher isn’t exactly reassuring anymore. Think about it, the developers of Fallout 76 were very enthusiastic about their game before release too. Moreover, annual releases in Call of Duty series haven’t brought much excitement to the fans. Even though 3 studios are dedicated to Call of Duty franchise, the results haven’t been as great as the older COD games.

Infinity Ward however, maintains confidence in its work-in-progress Call of Duty title. It’s nice to see another company sort of appreciating the importance of a proper single-player experience. Especially after how badly EA missed their mark.

For the time being, we don’t know much about the next Call of Duty title. We’re aware of how enthusiastic the company is for it though. We also have been informed that the game will be released around fall of 2019, just like any other Call of Duty game.

Will the single-player campaign be good though? Only time will tell.

There is a lot of confusion behind Metro Exodus Steam preload. The main reason behind this confusion is the fact that there seems to be little to no communication between publisher Deep Silver and creator 4A Games. According to the official Twitter account for Metro Exodus, the game will get a preload on Steam but not on Epic Games Store.

One of the fans contacted Deep Silver to know more about Steam preload and the reply he got confirmed that Steam players probably won’t be getting the preload. The reason being that Epic Games Store is taking priority since the majority of traffic is expected from the store.

However, the game’s official Twitter account tells a completely different story. According to the Twitter page, Metro Exodus preload will be available to Steam users while Epic Games Store won’t get the preload for the new Metro game.

Metro Exodus is having a rough time since its exclusive deal with Epic Games Store is announced, especially when a developer issued a threat to PC gamers. It seems there is plenty of confusion internally over how each store is being handled and accommodated. Apart from the preload confusion, there are key features missing from Epic Games Store and the lack of preload doesn’t help matters at all.

Regional pricing is just picking up while user reviews, guides, streaming, cloud saves, and more features are missing from Epic Store.

Anybody who got the PS4 is no stranger to the great games and specifically exclusives they had last year. This includes the greats like God of War, Spider-Man and so on. The emphasis on these games was quality, seeing as they were single-player cinematic masterpieces. Sony looks to be doubling down on this concept by promising fewer but better games in 2019 and for the PlayStation 5.

Sony Interactive Entertainment boss Shawn Layden spoke about how he and PlayStation plan to avoid the missteps EA and multiple others took. He added that he was willing to even delay releases if it meant a better product in the end. That’s something a lot of developers need to take note of. Looking at you, Sonic 06.

“As the exclusive developer for PlayStation, we always have to set the high-water mark, to push the technology further than anyone else.”

Sony has already talked about their plans regarding the next chapter in cinematic storytelling. This could very well be a follow-up on that exact statement. A well polished and memorable experience takes a while to craft. I mean look at the gap we had in God of War 3 and the one that swept the game awards last year.

This is especially refreshing to hear in a day and age where single-player games are shunned by the industry. The botched up launches and sales of games like Battlefield 5 and Fallout 76 should be proof alone that multiplayer isn’t a free pass to success.

We’ve still got a few upcoming single-player games to look forward to, like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice or Cyberpunk 2077. There’s even the duo of impending PlayStation games we need to see. I’m talking about Death Stranding and Last of Us 2 of course. Both these games are either going to be seen from Sony in 2019 or on the PlayStation 5. Who knows?

This is still good news nonetheless. I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say this, we prefer one high-quality game instead of a bunch of mediocre ones. No hundred copies of Fallout 76 will make-up for even one copy of Fallout New Vegas, y’know?

Regarding what Layden said about the future of PlayStation, this could also be tying into the speculation of an early PS5 launch. One that may supposedly happen due to low PS4 sales last year. We’ll get most of this news in the event that Sony has planned, seeing as they’re not coming to E3.

So you want more news about God of War 5, yes? Well, there is plenty of talk about Sony Santa Monica’s next entry into the God of War series. Prior to the release of God of War PS4, it was already confirmed that the new God of War game is first of a trilogy currently in development.

God of War is one of the crown jewels of Sony’s first-party line-up. The franchise started decades ago with PlayStation 2 and released its latest entry last year in the form of a redesigned God of War PS4.

From camera angles to story everything was changed and redesigned. Kratos stepped away from his Greek roots and stepped into the Norse Mythology. Well, he had to since all of the Gods were no longer in existence thanks to the God of War himself.

Sony’s God of War franchise is leading the single player games in the charge against live service titles. And while Sony is looking to create live service games as well, single-player story games will remain the primary focus of the company.

The next God of War game is going to be as amazing as the last entry into the series.

Sony Santa Monica is currently in the process of creating the next God of War game. The game is highly unlikely to release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. God of War 5 is definitely a next-gen game that is expected to release on PlayStation 5 and probably a PlayStation 5 Pro if Sony keeps its mid-gen console updates going.

While the title is coming to PS5, director Cory Barlog isn’t really looking forward to creating a next-gen God of War game. He stated that working on a next-gen console requires a lot of work and it’s time-consuming to overhaul the engine for a new platform.

But Sony is going to push Sony Santa Monica to release the game on PS5 which means it could take longer than some may expect to finish the game.

God of War 5 Story Details and Possible Main Villain

Kratos will continue his journey with Atreus right where he left off in God of War PS4. He will continue to explore the Norse realms to find more Gods to kill. But this time, he isn’t looking for a fight, unlike previous games. He is just trying to survive and protect his son and it is the Norse Gods who wish to pick a fight with him.

But to be fair, at this point Kratos has given them plenty of reasons to come at him. Kratos killed Thor’s two sons that stood in his way. At the end of God of War, we see Atreus get a vision of the future where Thor himself comes to his doorstep to avenge his sons.

Not to mention, Freya, the mother of Baldur is not happy with Kratos killing her beloved son. This also gives Odin, the father of Baldur, a reason to come after Kratos and Atreus.

But this isn’t the only reason Thor and Odin wish to take down Kratos and his son Atreus. Along their journey, this father and son unintentionally triggered Ragnarok. There is a theory that Atreus’ mother, a Giant, knew what will happen and foresaw the future prior to her death. She deliberately planned to send her husband and son to the highest peak in the realm, knowing well that they both will unknowingly trigger Ragnarok, the end of times for all of the 9 realms.

The main villains of the game are expected to be Thor, Odin, and Freya. Along the way, there will be more enemies but we can not know until the game actually comes out, which brings us to the question, when does it come out?

God of War 5 Release Date, Trailer, and Announcement

God of War will not be announced at E3 2019 this year but we can be pretty certain that it will be present at E3 2020 or PlayStation Experience 2020. PlayStation 5 is expected to be teased or even properly announced at PlayStation Experience 2019. Sony is skipping E3 2019 which puts a lot of hype and expectations into PSX 2019.

God of War release date is set somewhere in mid-2021 after its trailer reveal and announcement in 2020. All of this is speculation but knowing how Sony and Sony Santa Monica operate, it is pretty safe to speculate and possibly figure out the game’s release date and announcement plans.

In the aftermath of Bethesda’s rather big fiasco with Fallout 76, many post-apocalyptic raygun gothic fans are looking to Obsidian Entertainment and their own RPG, The Outer Worlds, to fill that niche that Bethesda let grow. But Obsidian doesn’t think that their game should come at the expense of mocking Bethesda.

Obsidian has a long history with Fallout, even though it wasn’t always with that studio. Formed by former developers of Black Isle Studios, who helped to develop Fallout and Fallout 2, Obsidian is responsible for developing Fallout: New Vegas, all three of which are seen as some of the best Fallout games in the franchise.

This is in contrast to Bethesda, who’s had two rather mediocre (if not outright bad) Fallout games under its belt since then, with Fallout 4 and its many controversial game decisions and Fallout 76’s issues. However, despite all of this, Obsidian still says that Bethesda deserves respect.

The first trailer for The Outer Worlds came out at the 2018 Game Awards, just after Fallout 76 had come out with a very bad launch. The trailer infamously seemed to rag on Bethesda by labeling Obsidian as “the creators of Fallout and Fallout: New Vegas”, as if to say “Come see what real Fallout developers can do!” but Obsidian says that’s not the case.

When they started working on The Outer Worlds they had no idea that Fallout 76 was even in development, and Feargus Urquhart, the studio’s CEO, has said that he’s a Fallout fan too, so the two games won’t be competing for the same dollars. Urquhart has said that while Bethesda might have taken Fallout in a different direction than fans wanted, that’s their right since they own the franchise, even if it doesn’t work out.

So, even if The Outer Worlds ends up tickling your fancy more than Fallout, Obsidian doesn’t want you trashing Bethesda, so play nice. The Outer Worlds comes out sometime this year.

A new post on the official Sekiro Twitter page has given us our first look at a new Sekiro Shadows Die Twice boss. The boss, a samurai general named Tenzen Yamauchi, is one of the multiple bosses that we’ll be fighting over the course of From Software’s new game.

Being a From Software game, Sekiro will be pitting players against a feudal-era Japan with a number of notable changes such as the presence of magic, monsters, and horrific creatures, such as a giant snake. We’ve already seen one other supposedly human boss prior to this, the Corrupted Monk, but Yamauchi will be the first apparently normal human we face. Of course, this still being a From Software game, he’s a lot bigger than you are.

All the same, according to the Twitter blurb Yamauchi demands a “keen eye”, meaning that despite his size he’s probably really fast. This, surprisingly, shouldn’t be new to fans of From Software games either, as the new Sekiro Shadows Die Twice boss isn’t even the first samurai boss we’ve seen.

Previously, in Dark Souls 2, there was a hidden boss named Ser Alonne, a wandering samurai knight that had taken residence in the castle of the Old Iron King. Despite being three times as tall as the player he was extremely fast, making him one of the more challenging battles. Players can also think of Bloodborne, which despite having a number of large bosses also made them all absurdly fast.

So, if you’ve been playing From Software games for a while now, this new Sekiro Shadows Die Twice boss might not be all that tough for you. However, From Software has also previously stated that the game will be harder than the Dark Souls games, so even veterans may still have to play carefully in this strange new setting. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be available on March 22 of this year for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
