the sun entered our flat perfectly as i walked into my room. my roommate was also perfectly tucked in her bed... so, i had to pull out my camera to remember this everyday beauty that i take it for granted.

i could say so many wonderful things about Lindsey, my roommate. she has a motherly heart that pours out so much care and love for people around her. i have been battling with flu for about a week now and Lindsey and my flatmmates, Kira and Paula, have been battling it with me. they have taken such sweet care of me... no wonder my flue doesn't want to leave me ;-)

if you are healthy... be sure to love life so much for me!

recently, i've been fallin' in love for James Bay.

his voice is so lovable.

ok, ttyl.

Bondi Fun-di

2015-07-25T23:02:00.004-05:00

After living in the midwest for 5 years and never been able to live in a city for 23 years of my life... I'm definitely loving this city / beach life in Sydney. Yesterday I brought my gun (camera) and went out for a walk by the beach. From the outside you can see me being all cool n stuff but if you could only see what my little soul is doing in the inside... you will laugh. Apparently, some say that this Bondi beach (pictured above) is not the most attractive beach out here. But to this country girl... this is too good to be true!

Well, classes are starting tmr. Maybe I will show you around my church and where I study sometime.

I'll come back to you later.

Talk to you soon.

Hello Oz

2015-07-25T20:40:00.000-05:00

Well, it's been 3 weeks that I've been living in Australia.
I got two bus lines down... kinda. One day in the name of Jesus- I will commute to places without looking like a lost tourist. I finished a book called Tramp for the Lord by Corrie Ten Boom recently (thanks to my friend Jesse for gifting me this book before I left America!) and this book is amazing. Also her book called The Hiding Place is incredible.
I love a consistent Christ follower like Corrie. I don't want to ruin the book for you but you will be blown away by her story. Actually, really God in her story will BLOW your mind.

Well, it's started to warm up here. I think I deserve some sun after experiencing two winters in a row (haha).

Well, hope you are doing well.

In one week

2015-06-25T15:22:00.002-05:00

( This is Danielle's room and it's absolutely beautiful!)

In one week from today I'll be on a plane to Australia.

I'm freaking out a little bit.

Beginning of this year God asked me to be bold and dream big dreams and not settle on comfortable things... and when I did He really opened up a big door for me and that was for me to attend Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia. I asked God to please be my captain for this journey because I ain't got no directions for this!!!

One evening I prayed to God to show me what I need to read in the Bible and He landed my eyes on these two verses:

Matthew 17:20 "... if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO YOU."

Luke 18 (entire chapter is a must read!):27 "...what is IMPOSSIBLE with men is possible with God."

God can do impossible things through us and make the impossibles possible.

I'm just believing that and gonna go for it. Ya know?!

Saturday Morning

2015-01-10T23:17:00.002-06:00

Saturdays are super. I don't know why but I get super motivated on Saturdays. I checked off 4 out of 6 things that I wanted to do today. One of those two things that I didn't do was to learn my midi controller. Recently, I purchased a midi controller that has 49 keys and different cool buttons around it. But- I don't know why my fingers aren't as excited as my heart. I'm just waiting for my fingers to get excited... I guess.

I have been listening to Ed's song "thinking out loud" on repeat. It's ridiculous how many times I've listen to it. Also, I bought Years and Years' and River Valley Church's newest album. Those two albums are incredible.

Currently, I don't know why but I'm listening to every versions of the song "love fool" while eating bacon donut at... 11pm. Whoever is following me on Spotify probably thinks that I left my computer ... nope. I'm still here.

I don't think I really need to explain who they are. It was a fun shoot with Elsie and Emma from A Beautiful Mess. Their creativity and hard working spirits blow my mind. I think a lot of us can agree that their blog is a huge inspiration to many of us!

Excited to see how A Beautiful Mess will color the world this year!

It was lovely meeting you ladies.

Créme Co.

2015-01-06T22:27:00.000-06:00

One Monday afternoon, Danielle and I shared our hearts about wanting to financially support non-profit organizations and individuals, and
Créme Co. was created 2 weeks after.
It was really simple and quick like that. When our hearts joined together, creativity came along the way. We would have nights where we would be making jewelries for 10 hours straight and eat up entire bag of chips and salsa and multiple cups of coffee. We have a lot of fun fo- show.

We are thankful to have started something that we both love and to support people who mean a lot in our lives.

So far- we have received so many love and support from people. We are hoping and praying that one day Créme Co. can ABUNDANTLY financially support many organizations and individuals who are giving hope and light to people around the world.

That is our prayer and our heart.

Best is yet to come, Créme Co.
