Peter Lopez, the husband of “Dukes of Hazzard” star Catherine Bach, has died.
A source told Access the death may have been the result of the lawyer committing suicide earlier today at the couple’s home in Encino, Calif.
A publicist for Bach issued the following statement to Access Hollywood: “The Lopez Family has suffered a tragic personal loss. Catherine and the girls ask for your prayers.”
Lopez worked at the legal firm of Kleinberg, Lopez, Lange, Cuddy & Klein LLP.
He represented singers including Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble.
Lopez was also a music attorney for the late Michael Jackson.

Back in the summer of 2008, Salt was a script about a CIA agent who’s accused of being a Russian sleeper spy- a male Russian sleeper spy. At the time, Tom Cruise was attached to play lead.
But as the script evolved into more of an on-the-run espionage thriller, Cruise began to feel that the character was a little too close to his “Mission Impossible” alter ego, Ethan Hunt. When Cruise bailed, Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal remembered a series of conversations she’d had with Jolie about creating a female James Bond-style franchise for her at the studio. And voila, the movie’s hero, Edwin Salt, was rechristened
Evelyn Salt. “We tried to change the name to Edwina,” says Jolie, “but it didn’t quite have the same ring to it.”

Jolie says she wasn’t nervous about the role’s gender reassignment. After all, there’s a long history of Hollywood heroes swapping sexes, including the character of Ripley in “Alien.” “I was simply looking for the best action script that was going around,” says the 34-year-old star. With Jolie on board, director Phillip Noyce, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, and writer Kurt Wimmer flew off to Chez Brangelina in the south of France to retool the screenplay. But the process was a bit trickier than just changing the hero’s name and adding high heels. “In the original script, there was a huge sequence where Edwin Salt saves his wife, who’s in danger,” says Noyce. “And what we found was when Evelyn Salt saved her husband in the new script, it seemed to castrate his character a little. How can he be so lucky? Lil Wayne’s sentencing has been delayed yet again for the third time! As we previously reported, the rapper was supposed to be in prison last month but it was delayed because he had to undergo dental surgery. The next court date was supposed to be on March 2 but a sudden fire at the New York Criminal Court building caused the sentencing to be pushed back…again! Now, the court sentencing will take place on Monday the 8th of March. The famous rapper will be spending a year in prison but might end up spending 8 months only due to good behavior, so behave yourself Lil Wayne! Usually if a person was found guilty of gun possession they would be put on probation but that is not applicable in New York where only law-enforcement officials and those affiliated with authorities can carry weapons. So, is Lil Wayne qualified in any of those categories? Obviously he’s not. He is just a rapper protecting himself. Been lucky enough to get a reprieve, Lil Wayne made a surprise appearance at the Madison Square Garden where he went on the stage with Young Jeezy. The fans were so happy to see him because it would probably be the last time until next year, that’s if nothing happens on Monday! If another postponement happens, I’ll be convinced some force doesn’t want him to go to jail! What do you guys think of this story?

Man Arrested For Threatening Elton John

A Georgia man has been arrested for threatening to kill Elton John following the singer's statement suggesting that Jesus Christ was a "compassionate, super-intelligent gay man."

Neal Horsley, 65, posted a video on YouTube that shows him standing in front of John's Atlanta apartment building holding a sign that reads "Elton John Must Die." Horsley is a known anti-abortion activist and was reportedly running for Governor under a political party he formed called the Creator's Rights Party.

Horsley was captured by authorities in the Atlanta suburb of Carrollton, Georgia, and is currently being held on $40,000 bail.

"We're here today to remind Elton John that he has to die," Horsley said in the video. "What Elton John has done is desecrated the image of the Lord Jesus Christ, blasphemed the Lord Jesus Christ."

Meanwhile, Elton John is currently preparing for his upcoming spring tour, set to kick off later this month in South Africa. The "Rocket Man" will return stateside for a string of dates starting on April 6 at the AmeriBank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Tiger Woods reportedly endured an uneventful week where all his troubles began: His Florida home.
The world's greatest golfer has returned to his family's Florida estate, spending the last eight nights there with wife Elin Nordegren and their two children, TMZ.com reported Saturday.

The pricey Isleworth home is where Woods wrecked his Cadillac SUV in the early morning hours after Thanksgiving, leading to stunning revelations about his incessant womanizing.
He was subsequently linked to a bevy of women, leading Woods to leave the pro golfing circuit and check into a sex rehabilitation facility.

But things were much calmer last week when Woods, trying to save his marriage, returned as a live-in father and husband less than a month after his internationally televised Feb. 18 apology for infidelity.
According to TMZ, his wife of five years appeared rejuvenated by the reunion.
