This was a great read! It got me hooked from the very start. I couldn’t help but wonder why Amanda left and why Sebastian didn’t go after her. I found out why it’s because they are both so stubborn! The story of old flames and hidden passion came alive in this book. I felt like I was Amanda and I did feel very angry when Sebastian tied me….I mean Amanda up!!! 

This book is well worth reading! There are more Stormy Weather series books and I will read them and review them! So Stay tuned folks

Desperation. It can be a scary and powerful thing. It can drive you to do things you’d never imagine you could…or would. In the case of my book The Cajun’s Captive, desperation drives the hero’s actions.

You see, Sebastian Deveraux is a Cajun werewolf. Proud. Handsome. Used to getting what he wants, when he wants it. And what he wants is a mate. It’s what he’s always wanted. As the Alpha of his pack, it’s his job to find a mate and keep his pack stable. To be a leader. And he must lead by example.

Not too long ago he met a woman he thought was his mate. Enter southern belle Amanda St. James. Amanda’s very much in love with Sebastian, but his intensity scares her. And the brotherly rivalry between the Deveraux men drives her away.

When Amanda returns to Louisiana, Sebastian sees it as his chance to have what he desires most. And he’s willing to do anything to accomplish his goal. His pain without her is so great he actually ties her up, carries her off and marries her on the spot. Romantic? I think so.

You see, these two love each other. It’s that kind of love we all day dream about. It’s the kind of love that will eat you alive if you don’t nurture it and every second you’re apart is agony. It’s also the kind of love that makes you crazy. And desperate.

Sebastian isn’t abusive. He’s in love. And he’s desperate to win the woman who completes him. He ties her up so that for once they can have an honest-to-goodness conversation. So they can hash out their problems and come to a solution. The ties that bind her are made of love.

And most importantly, Amanda loves him back. Their relationship, as unconventional as it may be, is consensual. It’s loving. Nurturing. Respectful. She isn’t powerless and he doesn’t try to make her his sex slave. You might say, they love each other desperately. *g*

Desperation can make you do crazy things, things others may not completely understand. Or perhaps, they’re really not that crazy after all.
