While the Presidential hopeful Mr Cain is denying the allegations of sexual harassment I had already seen these coming in terms of my own theory of evolution. And indeed had warned the US Presidential hopefuls full 6 months before. Call it pseudoscience for now, but time is not far off when people will have to agree that it can foretell things to a great extent.

My comment on Huffingtonpost re: Intelligent Design

It is a self-designed universe.

Even the socalled Intelligence is the product of this design.

This design comprises of Newtonian action and reaction which after big bang further bifurcates into four basic actions and reactions or interactions each according to one basic force out of four of gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak force.

The action part of the interactions which manifests in quantum jumps causes phase-changing variations, the reaction part then makes selections on them in terms of Darwinian theories.

Three interactions in case of humans cause him to grow - physically, emotionally and intellectually; the forth or weak interaction causes him to decline. Hence body beginning to giving away around 60s.

Giving birth is a phase change both for the mother and the progeny for which a disconnect in consciousness is necessary, which needs to be more painful proportionate to the awareness or consciousness of the mother. Since it is maximum as human mothers hence the maximum pain hence the shortest hole to give birth.

One can go on and on.

My advice to Arnold Schwarzenegger's children

You have a great father, who has become even greater by daring to speak the truth.

As to the good and bad of what he did obviously one can only judge when one knows the whole evolutionary scheme of things of life.

Man is on the tip of the universal iceberg driven by far greater forces, which take him where they will. It is for his evolutionary advancement though. For, in the process he suffers - physically, emotionally, mentally spiritually - but also fights with them and eventually rises above them and thus moves forth on his evolutionary journey.

Note my words when you will come of his age you will not only understand his actions fully but will cry remembering him.

Have faith in him as you have in God or whatever Force you believe in.

Your father was supposed not only to play father to you, husband to your mother, Gov. to his people, blemishless person to his numerous fans but to live, evolve and complete his own destined life as an individual as well.

So be mature guys and love and support him even more to enable him to remain true to himself and carry on with his fight for life, for evolution, for indeed, fight it is.

And yes, understand and support your mother as well, she is doing what she has to do given the situation but still she is no less a mother or a person.

In fact they both are equally great what is happening to them now is just in the evolutionary scheme of things of such people.

Greater people are, greater forces test them.

It is like if you are in tenth grade you are given a test of tenth grade standards and if you are in for some highest grade you are given the test of that highest grade.

PS: From what I have written above some people take the erroneous impression that I am advocating his condoning. I am not. He will get punishment - physical, emotional, mental, spiritual - suffer for it, but that is the only way for advancement on the evolutionary path. Recall your childhood, you could not learn walking without first falling and suffering. Then you fall and suffer emotionally and eventually find your emotional bearings, same goes for intellectual and finally spiritual bearings or walking. Let punishment take its course but still the wise will simultaneously understand him, love him, stand by him. In fact as I may explain in one of my next posts it is all a four basic interactions thing (evolution in terms of four basic interactions, for more read my most popular post on top left) and some men cannot escape such an eventuality at this age.

Sorry to say but as you will grow up you will know more and more and more. You will no longer remain the son of a certain father belonging to a certain family belonging to a certain country but a human being who can understand things by rising above all of these. Then you will realize that none can be faulted. You will realize that Osama was not all that just a killer. Why would any one be for that matter? He had his own reasons to do whatever he did. You are still a child, reminding me of my own son who one day wondered why I drank bitter alcohol (as against anything sweet). I told him the realities of life are very different from what you see now and that life forces some to drink even poison. So carry on, learn more, don't be judgemental so soon in your life. If at all, wish that all fathers will live long to support their sons, no one looses one's father midway through but don't single put Osama. You could well have been him at his place.

US: Fear the good times, the bad times will take care of themselves

In no way my post be seen as anti-America or born out of jealousy of America's success in killing Osama Bin Laden in a daring raid at faraway Pakistan.

It is just that I cannot be swayed by momentary currents to begin looking in tangential directions while the main flow of events is going in a particular downhill direction as I have explained in terms of my four basic forces theory of evolution in the post which has by now become the most popular post of my blog (see top left).

Rather even in actual life the cut is made like in the stock market. A sudden jump upwards and then a deep cut downwards which then goes on and on.

I saw and am seeing it daily in case of India where I am living.

About a year or so ago Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was at the peak of his reputation worldwide.

Beginning with Bush seeing him "Jesus-like" (remember Bush's remark when Manmohan Singh visited America in his time?), everybody praised him to the skies the peak being when about a year or so ago he topped world's ten wisest leaders (http://news.oneindia.in/2010/08/19/manmohan-singh-is-world-s-best-leader-newsweek.html ).

That proved the time for the cut.

And as if by a prophetic vision I simultaneously saw it coming.

Open it and see for yourself what a fan I am of him before August-September of 2010 (his admiration of being the top world leader came around middle of August) and how I began to sense his drift post this period with my first post "Et tu Manmohan" of September 6, 2010.

Post this he went down and down as my later posts will show. Though because of his personal integrity I never went against him the whole hog.

Cut to America. The post-Osama euphoria can be a warning signal too.

Though I do not see the danger if any coming from outside, it will be from within.

But what is the benefit of such a post you may ask.

The benefit is this. If you know before hand that there is a bend on the road or a steep fall you are prepared, you slow down, you check your brakes, you do not look in other directions except the one in which you are moving.

Applied in practice it may be a time for it to withdraw from other countries, to look within and set the things right in its own borders and within its own people and politics.

It may not be a time to go out, to grow, but to balance and rebalance, physically emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually.

Of course the greater forces will force whenever and wherever they will, as they seem to be forcing it to be an instrument to dislodge Libyan dictator Gaddafi, but the main wish should be to avoid getting entangled outside of American borders.

And rather than gloat over Osama killing thank God that you were able to do it and that is all. Avoid further challenging statements.

PS: There are two types of possibilities of dangers from within: 1. If American leadership acts wise enough to avoid any ego-fights or ego-based-fights with any community or country as perhaps President Bush did in the case of Saddam Hussein then the danger may only be limited to the difficulty in keeping any secrets (Wikileaks was only part of this grand play as I wrote immediately after at some other site) plus loss of money from financial mismanagements of one kind or the other despite all carefulness. In the ultimate analysis these things will do more good than harm to America, may be spiritually if not apparently materially.
2. But if America is unable to mellow down a little and shed ego-based actions, actions which in general political parlance are often also called in national interest, specially if such actions clearly draw upon the national interests of any other country or community then dangers from within could take more dangerous forms involving even weapons.

I also feel that despite killing Osama bin Laden Barack Obama is the man for the job. He is the man of destiny.

India's best of times and worst of times?

I wonder if Manmohan Singh's time as Prime Minister of India will not be remembered in history as the best of times and the worst of times.

Best of times because when the world seemed to be sinking into recession in 2008-9, he saved India to a large extent by his economic acumanship.

Worst of times because, as the coming out of daily skeletons of corruption in every sphere of Indian life show, corruption in India reached "Mindboggling" (Supreme Court's word while looking at figures involved in more and more cases daily) proportions during this same period.

Mindboggling corruption in itself would not make these the worst of times for India. It is what, in my vision, is bound to follow:

Mindboggling corruption only allowed the creation of conditions in society which, to tell it in a very common saying "make hay while the sun shines", made normal people to think that the sun of making easy money in India is shining and thus tempted nature's of many people who normally would not be corrupt to "make hay" in it.

Top army officers for one are its glaring example. Right from independence Indian Army had been generally free from corruption. Its officers and lower ranks felt proud to rather sacrifice their lives than look at money beyond a point. Many Generals and Lt-Generals got entangled into the quagmire of corruption only recently and that too because they felt looking foolish not to make even the running hay while the sun was shining so brightly.

Of course there were other reasons such as wallowing in money by civil and police personnel besides politicians. But I have clubbed them all under the phrase "allowed the creation of conditions in society" above. Splash of money on cricket players, in IPL extravaganzas also comes under the same clubbing.

Same is the case with top business brass. Like Army Generals many top business houses like Tatas to cite only one example, were still untouched by corruption and unethical means to grow their businesses. But in these times of shining sun they too looked foolish if they would stick too much to their past standards. With the result that now there may hardly be any who is not touched by corruption directly or indirectly.

Same goes for some of the politicians. Previous to sun-shining phase there would be at least some politicians who limited collecting money only to their election needs. But now you will hardly find many of this kind.

Now the worst part of all this, and which will in my opinion really make these the worst of times in the times to come is that for one, fed up by all round corruption, highest Judiciary of the land has become very proactive, to the extent that it has almost made it a personal issue to punish all those who have indulged in corruption.

And for an other, people are so fed up with corruption that they are getting ready to do a do or die battle with it. So much so that even Anna Hazare and his associates were surprised at people's participation in their recent leg of India Against Corruption agitation and at the extent of their anger against corruption. This has the potential to make the thinking of even the country subordinate to the thinking about corruption if any political leader is still left wise enough to do so in some way.

Given both the above situations there may come a time soon when all the top Generals and all the top business men and many of the top politicians may find themselves in jail one after the other.

With what result? Indian Army's morale will be at its lowest and frustratingly rebellious. Indian businessmen's morale will be at its lowest and frustratingly rebellious. Specially of those who will feel that they have actually been coaxed/fooled to hang themselves with the long rope first allowed to be continuously hung before them. And most of the politicians will feel too ashamed to come out before people.

And third and the most important point is that there is no leader of stature and vision at the top. Who would still have the guts to think of the country first even at the cost of corruption and would still save, despite judicial activism, those who got entangled only because the sun was shining.

He would rise to the occasion and ask Judiciary to wait for a while, for India comes first and corruption later, while at the same time doing enough for eradicating corruption so that people will think hundred times before doing anything of the sort at least in future.

He would take Anna Hazare and his team rather along with him to do so.

And taking help from Judiciary and Anna Hazaare movement he will use this opportunity to get rid of the inherently corrupt politicians, that is, politicians who joined politics just as a business rather than service of the country. A real leader will not find it very difficult to identify those.

No such leader is visible on the horizon. So that slowly Judiciary, Anna Hazaare-like movements and leaderless politics will take its toil on India and it will come to a situation of implosion. It will be the beginning of the coming of its own dark periods.

Once things begin to go wrong they will go the whole hog. Seeing the army's morale down many unscrupulous international elements can think of taking advantage. It will create further turmoil.

Is it Gadhafi's turn now? (From my other blog)

It seems to bigtamasha it is Gadhafi's turn now.

My father used to tell me a story some 45 years ago.

Once S. Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab, was going from Chandigarh to Delhi on a car with a couple of his close political confidants. A hare suddenly came rushing on the road a few meters ahead. Once in the center of the road it stood undecided as to which way to go. It once looked backwards once ahead but by then was run over by the car.

On seeing this Partap Singh Kairon asked his co-traveler, "Do you know why this hare got killed?"

The co-traveler said this or that, the usual responses but Sardar Kairon was not satisfied. Then he said, "it got killed because it became undecided."

The moral of the story my father wanted me to know since he was very much impressed by Kairon's wisdom was that once one gets undecided as to his line of action it is time for his getting bumped off.

I already sense from some other indications explained under the general heading that it is an evolutionary thing and more prominently written about in my other blog (this blog), that Gadhafi's days are numbered now.

Today I came across this article which not only seems to confirm my above sense but further adds to it.

For one, it shows that Gadhafi's has become undecided now - whether to fight on the side of the west with Al Qaeda or on the side of Al Qaeda with the west.

And for an other, and which is equally important point so far as the main theme of this post is concerned is that I think America will show Gadhafi also as an Al Qaeda main helper before he is finally done away with. And I thought perhaps the showing of this article was the beginning of this exercise by America.

Gadhafi says he could join Al Qaeda's 'holy war'

Milan (Italy), March 15 (DPA) Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi Tuesday ruled out negotiations with anti-government rebels, whom he described as 'terrorists linked to Osama bin Laden', but warned that if the West were to attack his country, he would ally his forces with Al Qaeda in a 'holy war'.

Gaddafi made the remarks in an interview with Milan-based daily Il Giornale from his headquarters in the Libyan capital Tripoli.

Asked whether he feared ending up like former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who was toppled by a US-led invasion and then hanged for war crimes, Gaddafi said: 'No, our war is against Al Qaeda.'

However, 'if they (the West) behave with us as they did in Iraq, then Libya will leave the international alliance against terrorism'.

'We will then ally ourselves with Al Qaeda and declare a holy war,' Gaddafi said.

Best of time worst of times for America!

Good that America has killed Osama Bin laden who for them had become synonymous with terrorism.

But....I will say the events are in times not in individuals. And the times of late have not been good for the world, for America.

I have been saying this right since what has now become the most popular post on my blog (on top left) that some sort of nuclear disturbance if not catastrophe is inching towards America.

Also keep in mind that Gadhafi's son too has been killed and though it was almost predicted by me (read relevant posts post the most popular post ) it could also convert into some sort of nuclear distrubance for US before Gadhafi finally gives in.

I wonder if current Tornadoes are not signalling for America the beginning of a new fractal cycle in terms of my four basic interactions theory mentioned in the above popular post, for, they are not really much different from earthquakes and tsunamis.

If in earhquakes and tsunamis the earth and water are showing signs of inherent uneasiness it is the air now.

Then comes fire...

And laslty the sky which covers everything.

The jubiliation at the death of Osama Bin Laden today reminds me of Krishana's words in the Bhagvad Gita: 'Dont be over-excited in victory nor over-rejected in defeat, for, at the end of the day I am the dispenser of both, not you."

India's Satya Sai Baba has died

Satya Sai Baba is gone.

Reminds me of Dr Abraham Kovoor (1898-1978),the writer of "Begone Godmen!" and father of what later came to be known as Indian rationalist Society.

A couple of paragraphs about him in Wiki read:

"Kovoor traveled in India several times during 1960s and 1970s, addressing hundreds of meetings. His brilliant oratory, enlivened with a scientific approach and critical thinking, worked like magic in Indian villages and towns. During four Miracle Exposure lecture tours in India, all organized by the Indian Rationalist Association, Kovoor challenged and exposed ‘miracles’ performed by godmen. During his last journey to India in 1976 Kovoor visited Sai Baba's ashram and challenged him to face a test. The baba refused."

"One of the main targets during his miracle exposure campaign was Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh state, India. Sathya Sai Baba is perhaps the most prominent god-man in India today, and was during Kovoor's time. Sai Baba claims to this day to materialize vibuthi or holy ash. Kovoor believed that the Baba performed this through sleight of hand.

Many Indians throng to the ashrams of holy men who claim to perform such miracles. To expose Sai Baba and others, Dr Kovoor would produce holy ash seemingly from nowhere and distributed it amongst the audience. Obama follows Bhagavad Gita's theme of "Action in Inaction."

A dizzying succession of major world events is bombarding a president who insists on rising above his own time, emotions and political message.

With Japan’s nuclear crisis teetering on the verge of catastrophe, with Libya and Bahrain in violent turmoil, and with financial markets crashing in response, President Barack Obama has been adamantly sticking to his own political and policy ploybook.

That has meant monkeying past the red-siren headlines in the true style of Gandhi's famous three monkeys to hammer away at the jobs-and-education message that will be the centerpiece of his 2012 campaign, the kind of discipline that is a hallmark of his new senior adviser, David Plotting.

And it also meant refusing to scrap a five-day trip to Latin America on Friday that will take him to sun-dappled Rio de Janeiro, among other places, rather than staying home and exposing himself to noise radiation because of increasingly vocal international news regarding Japan's looming nuclear catastrophe threatening...

“The president is taking this trip because he is committed to growing the economy in the sky [and] rebalancing our national security posture in terms of Gandhi's legendary three monkeys, i.e., "don't see, don't hear don't speak,” White House press secretary Jay Corny shot back on Tuesday when an incredulous reporter asked if he would consider delaying the five-day swing through Brazil, Chile and El Salvador.

“He remains confident he can fully execute his job when he is on the road running from Japan's radiation threat.”

But Obama’s critics have a different take. They say he’s exhibiting a failure of leadership on a whole range of matters, symbolic and substantive, ranging from his lukewarm support for a Libyan no-fly zone to his willingness to let others, especially Republicans, take the lead on entitlement reform.

A compendium of clips sent to reporters by the Republican National Committee on Tuesday was headlined: “Hiding from Reality: Obama’s noticeable lack of leadership illustrates a president looking after himself above all others.”

Some questions about Obama’s leadership are the results of his somewhat "detachment-in-attachment"style advocated in Bhagvad Gita.

On Friday Obama made Japan a centerpiece of his news conference, and he has dispatched a massive deployment of U.S. military and nuclear safety personnel to the region. “I believe I heard him use the phrase today — heartbroken by what he sees unfolding in Japan and the effect on the Japanese people,” Corny said at his briefing Tuesday, "but then he panicked at his own emotions."

But to some, even this response has seemed muted.

“It’s a gap between the kind of personal reaction that I myself received from my American friends and the somewhat ceremonial, rhetorical statements that Mr. Obama makes… I was taken aback. I have yet to feel any personal feeling coming from Mr. Obama himself,” said Yoshi Komuri, editor-at-large of Sankei Shimbun, one of Japan’s leading newspapers.

“It seems a bit remote, too official, that’s my personal opinion.” Obviously Yoshi Komuri has not heard of Gita's way of 'action through non-action,' which Obama currently seems to be following.

Andrew Gordon, director of Harvard’s Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies, said Obama’s handling of the Japan crisis so far was appropriate, but it would be wise now for him to make a greater overture to one of his country’s most important allies and trading partners. "It is an opportunity to ensure milking Japan in the years to come," he added off the record.

“Even compared to what people were thinking Friday or Saturday, by Tuesday this is a considerably graver event, so for Obama to do something - in public and visibly - probably wouldn’t be a bad idea, whether that’s Obama going to visit the Japanese Embassy or inviting the ambassador to the White House …to sort of lay a trap for some future commitment,” he continued.

The White House dismisses criticism that the president hasn’t been sufficiently engaged, pointing out that Obama has been immersed in back-to-back meetings with first lady Michelle all week on the emerging crises, culminating on Tuesday afternoon in a rather unusually long seista. And they argue that the president’s take-it-in stride approach reflects his calm temperament, the demands of a modern, multi-tasking presidency coupled with his youthful vitality and his refusal to lurch from comfort to crisis.

They also say that breaking routine could, in itself, constitute a breach in leadership by proving he’s too willing to let circumstance derail his immediate objectives.

More important than the optics, Obama has also refused to make any major policy shifts in response to events over the last several weeks. "In either case the fruits of action are not in our hands but in Lord's," he is often seen quoting Gita.

Despite criticism from conservatives pressing for aggressive action by the United States, hawks, he’s waited for NATO and United Nations to approve a no-fly zone for Libya, a plan that seems less likely than ever given the rout of pro-democracy rebels this week. He knows, again thanks to Gita, nonaction sometimes resolves itself into best action. Who knows which way the wind will finally blow?

Nor has he heeded demands by some fellow Democrats, including Reps. Henry Waxeloquent (D-Calif.) and Ed Murky (D-Mass.), that he embrace a moratorium on the construction of new domestic nuclear plants as a result of the Japanese disaster.

“I think it’s very important to make sure that we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the nuclear facilities that we have,” Obama said in an interview with a local TV station in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. "And one way to ensure that is to continue to outrun all the countries of the world on this count rather than embrace moratorium, " he added.

Though he refused to shelve expansion of the plants, which are a key part of his energy strategy, he pledging to inscribe "running nuclear plants could be injurious to health," on each nuclear plant.

“I’ve already instructed our nuclear regulatory agency to make sure that we take lessons learned from what’s happened in Japan and that we are constantly upgrading how we approach our nuclear safety in our country,” he said.

It is learnt that following this the nuclear regulatory agency has already set up a team of scientists to simulate earthquakes on the lines of famous Hadron-collider at Cern to gauge their impact on the nuclear plants.

Corny told reporters that Obama essentially views events in Japan as a crisis afflicting a foreign country, passing along the views of Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials that even under a worst-case scenario, the Fukishima nuclear plant poses next to no health risks to U.S. citizens on the mainland or in Hawaii. He is also not averse to Nuclear Regulatory Commission's eventual goal of seeing US citizens inheriting the whole earth.

Given recent events, it’s hard to believe that it was barely two months ago that David Axelrod, Plotting’s predecessor, told POLITICO on his way out of the White House that he finally saw a “clear field” for Obama to focus on the sole issue he believed would decide the 2012 election – jobs.

Recent events no doubt have cleared many fields to operate upon:

A rolling series of bloodless revolutions and bloody civil wars have spread through Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain and Libya; a rebellion by Tea Party Republicans who threaten to scuttle his plans for a big bipartisan budget deal; and then the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear debacle in Japan,a one-of-a-kind chamber of horrors that melds a humanitarian tragedy with a terrifying atomic threat.

In the days ahead, Corny promised, Obama will monitor “all major issues, all the time” wherever he is, most likely from the sky.

Greek philosopher Diogenes (who some said was the guru of Alexander the great) detested man's dependence on money and began to live in a tube...

Agreed he had no family but people can take a lesson from him and reduce their expenditure a bit.

What goes up comes down and vice versa.

You enjoy only that happiness which comes in contrast to sadness, only that has gone and can likewise come back too at any time in future.

Alternatively stick to the real happiness below which houses both above explained relative happiness and sadness.

If the youth of today no longer have "it" in them (refer to my post of April 14, url at the end) the baby boomers of today have lost 'it' in them.

I cannot but help being like Darwin, or Karl Marx, or anybody else for that matter who has only one all-encompassing theory of anything, here of evolution, and who then has no choice but to see every observation or problem through the matrix of that theory. More so since the understanding of that observation or problem then looks so obvious to him.

Today (April 18, 2011) while idly browsing through magazines I came upon an article "Dead Suit Walking: If this isn't the Great Depression, It is the Great Humbling. Can manhood survive the lost decade?" by Rick Marin and Tony Dokoupil in newsweek.com. And almost immediately understood its whole purport in the light of my theory of evolution through four basic interactions of which I have already written in many posts.

I have already explained the recent happenings in the world in terms of this theory in what has now become the most popular post of this blog (on top left).

In this post I will explain the above observation of the writers in the same way. Which will show that while the observation of the writers is correct its explanation is not, or not fully correct. Following which I will give my own explanation.

My theory of evolution in terms of four basic interactions of physics - gravitational, electromagnetic, strong and weak interactions, simplified for human situations as physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual interactions - states that every system including individual humans as well as global culture as a whole passes through four basic phases in their smallest spacetime accretions/fractal cycles to eventually in their whole lives/life-time cycles thanks to four basic interactions and it constitutes their whole evolution. (Darwinism applies only to the reaction part of the interactions which comprise of Newtonian actions and reactions.)

The four phases in case of human beings are childhood, youth, middle age and old age.

And the four phases for the global cultural cycle which began with AD era are, dark to middle ages, the age of romanticism, the age of reason, and the one in which we are presently entering, the age of intelligence/intuition/wisdom.

I have also divided these four phases for both the above categories into the phases of "to grow", "to love/hate", "to know/do" and "to just be" in terms of the same four basic interactions by just expanding them a bit.

Now, while on the one hand the global culture as a whole is under transition from the third phase of "to know and to do" to the fourth of "to just be," on the other, baby boomers in their individual lives are also under transition from this third phase."

Double whammy for knowers and doers - the BMW men of the article under question, who wore grey flannel suits and ran the world in the past!

On the far greater level of species as a whole, the species homo sapiens themselves were the 'product' of the third phase.

It is this phase which forced them to straighten up from animals thanks to the interplay of four basic forces and in the process gave them a load-bearing, rod-like vertical spine, along with their initial instinct to "stand up to things" which will eventually become "it" in them. (See chart at right from my book Self-Designed Universe.)

It is this phase, fundamentally of confining strong nuclear interactions, which gave them self-consciousness and as a consequence the feeling of separate identity, of separate "I", of ego. And it is this EGO which, supported from below by the above-explained fundamental instinct of "standing up to things" which eventually became full "it" in them.

It is really this EGO which is in focus when people use "it" in phrases like "have it in them or "lost it in them." It is the basis of all human special characteristics and progress.

What now the BMW men are really losing is this ego and thanks to the passing phase or age of reason or "to know and to do" on two levels - the global cultural level and the individual level - and not something else.

It is this ego to which are tethered all his belongings and proportionately as the ego is leaving him these belonging too are leaving him.

It is not his decisions or mistakes it is the evolution stupid!

Now coming to the youth of today.

While there is no doubt that individually they are in the ascending second or third phases, the phases to love/hate and to know and to do, the problem for them is that they are in the greater descending phase or the phase of "to just be." No wonder while the first party or the BMW men have "lost it in them" the youth finds it difficult to "have it in them" in the first place.

Easy-going couch potatoes you said, yes!

The saving grace is that while on the one hand we are going downhill in terms of our going from the third phase to the fourth, or even down the fourth, on the other hand a new small global cultural cycle with its four phases in nascent stage is also trying to take birth. The present earthquakes and political upheavels in part are also the labor pains of this new fractal cycle.

From candles to guns to nuclear arsenals will be the progressive lot of these populations of the next cycle. Which will in the process also give them their lot howsoever small of the "it" or egos with due passage of time.

Ominous times for India too - 2

In what has now become the most popular post of this blog (at top left) I had interpreted the recent happenings in the world in terms of my four basic forces/interactions theory of evolution as per my book Self-Designed Universe.

I had divided the happenings into Earthquakes/tsunamis/volcanoes, Political/emotional/impulsive upheavels and Nuclear/intellectual/communicative disturbances/dysfunctions, EPN in short, in terms of the three of the four basic interactions i.e., gravitational, electromagnetic and strong nuclear interactions. And had said that what is happening in terms of these in individual countries now is only a fractal of what will happen later on the world scale (India had yet not started on this course then).

Since then it (EPN) is going on in the same way, in waves or fractals, big or small, in one country or many yet advancing as a whole.

Earthquakes have become almost a daily phenomenon, and no one country is sure if the next bell is not tolling for it....

Political upheavels have resurfaced with added vigor after a brief lull following the exit of Hosni Mubarak of Egypt. It seems to me that this time these will take Gadhafi as well as I have already written in a couple of posts. Of course many others will also fall in due course of time but I have not followed the history of all with equal interest.

Though Dictators and Presidents of various countries will go on trying to cling to power for me the writing is on the wall and the only question is of time, specially for those who have been ruling for the last about 30 years.

Before this ends I see fighting erupting between some European and these Arab/Middle East countries. France from the European side may be in the center of these fightings while US may remain a bit aloof for a while.

As regards nuclear/intellectual/communicative dysfunctions I have tried to depict the scenario in my previous couple of posts, namely, "I think therefore I am not" and "World on its wits end?" among others.

The nuclear disaster in Fukushima has become a world-scale phenomenon in itself. Neither its extent has been understood nor potential of damage even to this day. Only yesterday two robots sent to explore buildings inside the crippled reactor have reported that radiation levels inside are too high for human crews to go for repairs.

Nor has the story ended with Fukushima or Japan.

Each country is introspecting and inspecting their nuclear baggage/installations which only betrays their hidden fears. Who knows what is the real position of each one of them which like that of Fukushima may have been kept hidden from the world till today?

Moreover, each country is busy in solving its own financial/ideological/intellectual nightmares of one kind or the other. Many are unable to control food inflation, many are worried of Tahir Square coming to their own door-steps. Then, freedom is anarchy first semblance of order and responsibility far later in the future.

Of late India too has come into EPN's destructive fold.*

As I have explained in my previous post "Omninous times for India too," it began with an earthquake and India Against Corruption movement's foremost leader Anna Hazare going on fast-unto-death simultaneously on April 5. Since then I have written some more posts which give hints of India's advancement on this very course (See posts 1-6 below).

As for earthquakes, one Lankan scientist has already written that according to his research a series of earthquakes can hit Asia including Delhi in the coming days (see post "Earthquakes galore..."). All we can do in this regard is just cross our fingers and wait and of course be prepared.

What I know more and can write more about is what shape the India Against Corruption (IAC) movement is likely to take in the coming days and months. And the frightening part is that for one, it will drown even its initiators in its wake if they go against people's expectations they themselves have aroused and, for an other, it will increasingly look like India's own Tahir Square because slowly politicians will stoop to implicate its leaders in false cases and respond to the resulting people's anger with guns even more than lathis. Candle-holding era will soon become thing of the past.

Admittedly the rulers in India are not dictators but going by people's anger and writings they are even worse than them. They are far more cleaver, cunning and soul-killing than dictators in the garb of democracy and proportionately create more old anger and frustration in people. The worst is that they think they can fool people all the time but people know everything only cannot do anything till there is time to finally explode unmindful of the results.

And the time for this explosion has come now. Like universe's singularity of infinite density from which then the universe explodes into existence with big bang, people's cold anger has also reached infinite density and it is time for big bang of freedom.

Some people may think one Anna Hazare or Kajrewal are the creators and leaders of this movement but I know they have only been picked by nature for furthering its evolutionary scheme of things in terms of four basic interactions at present crucial times in India's history. No wonder both and in fact many others are saying that people's response to their agitation has surprised even them. As I see it there will be many more surprises for them in future.

Read any social network site like twitter and facebook and you will find people bursting at the seems with anger and frustration against so-called democratic rulers while simultaneously pleading with Anna Hazare etc to not to leave the movement in the lurch.

Dictators rule straight and fight straight while democratic 'dictators' do these things stealthily and more cunningly. And accordingly while people's fight with dictators will still be simple/straight, that is, they will fight face-to-face and win or die on the streets, in case of the latter, people too may begin to fight stealthily eventually leading to more ominous ways of war.

Regarding nuclear dysfunction of Fukushima kind in India we can say more only when it has first begun its nuclear function. As of now India's nuclear energy projects seem more likely to be put into cold storages.

As regards the involvement of India in nuclear war I have already written a few words in my previous post. Anything can happen on this count including all out nuclear war with China and Pakistan on one side and India helped by Russia and America on the other.

Though it is also quite possible that this area is saved of nuclear disaster altogether with only earthquakes etc doing the most damage with political upheavels standing second.

Intellectually too India has already begun to be guided by not-so-intellectual Anna Hazare in a way. May be and I think it is rather true, the times are in favor of getting guided by what I call native wisdom rather than cold reason or intellect.

In this post I have given the background and general picture. In subsequent posts I will deal with specifics. Which will trigger/cause future events to advance in a certain way.

US: Budget Beat

Recently I happened to look at what is going on on the budget front in America...

Both the Republicans and Democrats are confused because both are unable to see beyond their respective boxes. Both are basically capitalist parties out to exploit one of their tools, the working class or poor yet in such a way that the latter will not know, or will rather think they are out to help him.

Both are confounded by recessionary forces overtaking America. All both wish vis-a-vis the working class is to sustain them enough to override the recession and then go their old ways.

Here is a dialogue I had with a few on newsweek .com in this regard....

It gives a glimpse of an out of the box view of the situation and a guide to a new how and why of a solution may be for a few decades.

It may be pointing to the times of 'save yourself first think of capitalism later.' But so what, "what cannot be cured must be endured" as the old saying goes.

Hope reader here enjoys and even gets something to guide his/her future lives.

Then you would say that 'Rich people' are to the whole country as Mind is to Body. Doesn't anybody get taught metaphor, similae, logic....anymore?

Yes you are right, I meant the whole country. In Ayn Rand's novel 'Fountainhead' its second hero Gail Wyanand, is very poor and then goes to find out what makes people rich. He goes to rich people's colonies and finds that they read books while poor people don't. What it means is that rich people use mind and so I equate them with mind as against poor who use their bodies. And I repeat I take the whole country as one Body, take it metaphor but it is the reality too.

If you are Obama, all you have to read is "Rules for radicals." With your extra time you can read "The Communist Manifesto." Then, during a slow period, you can read the Bill Ayers book and see what he wrote for you.

The youth of today no longer "have it in them"

Below is my comment on economist.com in response to their article: Sucking up too many of America's brightest minds (by Schumpeter).

Of course my observation is in terms of my four basic interactions theory of evolution/change according to which the present global culture is now going beyond ego/thought/science or collectively "the age of reason."

I have already written about it at many places, even then if someone wants to have an idea he/she can at least read one of my previous posts "I think, therefore, I am not."

I don't think the reason of less talent coming to start up new businesses is the bloated financial service market. I think it is because the youth of today do not 'have it in them' as they say and opt for the easy way out....

The businessmen of old times were really tough people. They operated in the real, harsh world. They set up their businesses with their bones and blood so to say.

Then came those who could milk their businesses through what has come to be known as stock markets.

They traded in their stocks and made money. These traders of the previous times too had at least the mental toughness in them (as against physical/brainy toughness of real businessmen) to do so.

Now I think the new generation neither has physical toughness nor mental toughness. If the traders of previous generations may be said to "milk the 'cow'" of the real businesses through stock markets the youth of today in the name of trading or so-called financial services are only trying to "milk the milk."

All they can do is set up a website and begin dreaming of millions of people coming to visit their sites with the sole aim of earning through advertisements and nothing else.

They neither know anything about real businesses, nor real trading or even financial services, they just know playing on the net. Which they can either do at home or in offices provided for almost the same purposes by some like companies.

In one of my next posts I will explain the reasons and how they have no choice.

Or that it is an evolutionary thing.

Seems this time Gadhafi will be 'taken'

And France and UK are already itching for the same.

Times too are favorable, for, all Arab/Middle East political upheavels seem to have begun their second wave.

The world at its wits end?

No, I am not talking of Japan - neither of its almost daily earthquakes nor of its nuclear disaster at Fukushima jumping to the level of 7 - the dreaded Chernobyl level.

In terms of my four basic interactions theory of evolution (see post at top left) I had seen it coming almost from the very start. I had also written a couple of posts in this regarding warning that the neclear disaster at Japan may be much worse than being told, that either Japan may not be knowing the whole truth or not telling the world because of some reasons of her own (see post http://ruminations.selfdesigneduniverse.com/2011/03/my-comment-at-onlinewsjcom.html and a couple of before and after it.)

What I have in mind now is again the wider picture in which the whole world is involved rather than Japan alone....

Of course Japan's nuclear disaster alone has become catastrophic enough to put the world at its wits end. The world media is rightly asking "now what will become of Japan," "where will all this end," of course confounded besides the increasing level of nuclear disaster by the almost daily earthquakes. But it is only because their vision is limited to what has already happened.

I am seeing the future picture. I am seeing what can happen in future and all over the world.

And what I see will really put the world at its wits end if not already is.

It seems to me the earthquakes and tsunamis in the coming bigger fractal cycle will become a pan-Asia affair. And in addition to these this time some Asian countries including perhaps India and China too may face political upheavels as well. In which specially their youth and lower classes including peasantry may be in the forefront. A distinct possibility of some epidemic which will more likely affect children can also not be ruled out.

The African/Arab/Middle East countries which in the recent past went through political upheavels may in addition see fighting not only among themselves but more importantly with some European countries as well. The fighting with later may really transform into crusade-like situation with more passage of time.

Besides some more dictators including Libyan dictator Gadhafi may also have to go this time. Gadhafi may be forced to go from within rather than from without, of course simultaneously as the pressure of rebels and allies increases on him.

America, on the other hand, may not be very active in the above fighting or outside its own country. It may increasingly try to confine itself to its own affairs though not completely successfully. But it may face some problems from within its own borders. Which can take any form. There could be earthquake/tsunamis, there could be political upheavels and there could be some nuclear problem as well.

I must add that what I am envisioning is purely in terms of my own four basic forces or interactiosns theory of evolution/change and has nothing to do with any prophecies which people have made regarding the year 2012 in terms of the so-called Mayan Calender. I have neither seen nor read the Mayan Calender or any other Calender or prophecy for that matter. I have not read Nostradamus prophecies as well. Moreover, I do not limit what I am saying to the year 2012 only. It is a phase and it can take from a few years to few decades.

And lastly, if anybody can understand it, for me it is well within universe's grand evolutionary scheme of things and so in no way frightening. Rather its understanding makes me at peace with it.

This is what I call fixing through knowing or understanding.

In what has now become my most popular post shown on top left I talked about my four basic forces or interactions theory of evolution/change and how it applies to the recent happenings.

In this post I will show how it applies to our individual lives.

And how in terms of this we are going beyond thought on the global culture scale as someone on huffingtonpost wrote recently.

Or even how we are going beyond "walls, all walls" as Arriana Huffington of The Huffington Post wrote.

Back to individual life or rather to the beginning of individual life:

In terms of my four basic interactions theory of evolution/change its action part first forces you from within to try to get up right from your babyhood while its reaction part (this is why it is called interaction, here we are talking of gravitational interaction) makes you fall down. But then finally you are able to get up, to remain standing in your center of gravity, and ultimately handle the affairs of gravity efficiently.

This center of gravity is then your 'self'' of the times. An other way of saying it would be, "I stand therefore I am' (remember, stand up and be counted, this refers to this fact.)

Then comes your youth. Similarly you are forced to fall into emotional affairs or the affairs of loves, wars,...
hates, moment. And similarly you are enabled to finally remain in your center of second of the interactions i.e., the electromagnetic interactions or in my simplified version, in the center of your emotional body.

This center of the second of the four basic forces or interactions is your 'self' of this phase. Here "you emote therefore you are."

Similarly then you are enabled to stand in the center of the third force i.e., the strong or nuclear force or in the center of your causal body which gives you ego/reason cumulatively in your middle or adult phase. Here you are "I think therefore I am." It is your 'self' of the times.

Since in the overall picture of species, Homo Sapiens are the 'product' of these third interactions 'he' is usually identified with thinking process, or as a thinking animal or mammal.

Anyway, similarly you are enabled finally to remain in your center of weak interactions, the cause of your experiences of so-called spirituality, compassion, empathy in my simplified version, which then is your 'self' of the moment.

Here you may be said to "empathize, therefore you are."

Somewhere else I have rephrased these four phases of self as the phases of 'to grow," "to love (or hate)," "to know," and finally "to be."

In terms of physical or actual centers in your body, also called chakras by Hindu Yogic philosophers, these coincide with your navel, physical heart, head and spiritual heart said to be two digits to the right of your physical heart, (where christians make center of cross etc) respectively.

This completes one cycle of evolution and is going on at all levels right from the universe down to global culture as a whole and below in the same way. We are part of some bigger cycle and give birth to many smaller cycles and so on on both sides. (The chart on the right from my book shows four phases of many small to big systems/spirals according to four basic interactions - enlarge to see.)

Finally at the level of the universe we reach our Self at big crunch though only to begin again from what is called big bang. What is beyond this cycle or what houses this universal evolution is also Self but we cannot talk much of That. Only those who have had a direct experience of the Self beyond the third phase (perhaps called opening of the sahasrara chakra by Hindus) can have an idea of it.

Now on the global cultural scale we are transitioning from our third or strong interactions phase, the phase of reason/science/thinking, to fourth or weak interactions phase, the phase of intuition/native-wisdom/even experiential wisdom/empathy (on the one hand we are going from third to fourth phase hence all these new age philosophies, on the other from deep down a new cycle is also beginnig which is causing the recent EPN - earthquakes, political and nuclear problems.). Hence our feeling of "I think therefore I am not" or of going beyond all walls, which at the most basic level are really the walls of confining strong interactions.

Putting Karl Marx on his head

It is time to put Karl Marx's maxim, "The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it" on its head, more so as neither he nor anybody later could really change it.

The new maxim, my own, will be: "The change will happen on its own in a particular way forcing us to subserve it even though we will carry on the allusion that we are brining it about.

Understand the particular way and relax. This is fixing through knowing.

This is like knowing that it is night time and better to leave the worries for an other day.

Come back to your own selves/means, whether you are an individual, a community or a country.

Who will rule Russia after the elections - Putin or Medvedev or None?

There are times in history when inner and unknown forces dictate terms more than the outer and known or analyzable. The world is in such times now.

It is clear from all recent happenings right from earthquakes in many parts of the world to political upheavels in African/Arab/Middle East countries to almost unmanageable nuclear catastrophe in Japan.

It is clear from the way US and allies attacked Libya almost in "attack first and think later" way....

I have explained the why of it all in what has now become the most popular post (on top left) of this blog.

Anyway, it will be these inner forces which will choose who will rule Russia in the near future, who will serve their scheme better.

He may be an impulsive person more than thinking though the overwhelming forces will use both with equal ease.

World famous Biologist J. Bronowski, of the book The Ascent of Man fame once wrote, "it seems ideas discover man rather than the other way about." Though he only speculated it is really true specially during such times and will prove so in Russia's case.

And this earthquake has come even before that.

I am not surprised. As I have explained in the post even political upheavels in middle east are getting recharged.

Again, all I can say is that all these are part of a bigger picture about which I wrote a month back at my blog and which has by now become the most read post (see on top left).

Frightening to look at number 11

As I am seeing the news of Japanese earth quake today April 11, 2011 on TV, the channel is just showing side by side the first catastrophic earthquake of Japan on March 11, 2011.

This at once reminds me of 9/11 and 26/11, the days of Mumbai terrorist attack in India and World Trade Center in US respectively.

I don't know much about numbers nor believe in numerology still the number 11 has begun to look ominous at least here on TV.

If I were the President of America

If I were the President of America, then in terms of my four basic interactions theory of evolution/change I would follow the below noted general policies for the next couple of decades or so.

1. Live and let others live (or even die). Minimum interference in other countries' affairs in other words. Let natural forces balance things in their own way/time/pace most probably from within. Interfere only if America's own security is immediately threatened or you feel forced in some other way).

2. Use minimum natural resources. Most important is reducing travelling and it can be easily done.

3. Spend less (learn to live within means).

4. Waste less. Just be a little conscious of wastage.

5. Be self-reliant as far as possible.

6. Live close to nature/nature's ways.

7. Reduce use of hard drugs/medications.

8. Proportionately turn to nature cures through water, air, fasts, relaxation, meditation etc.

9. Become stoics while doing your work to the maximum.

10.Accept what cannot be changed, change what cannot be accepted. Find the balance.

Quakes galore in Asia between April 14-20?

In continuation of previous EPN (Earthquake/tsunamis, Political upheavels and Nuclear disasters) story:

As I had explained before (beginning with what has now become my most popular post on top left) the recent happenings of EPN, which began with earthquake in Japan and political upheavels in Africa/Arab/Middle East countries, represent a fractal cycle which is later to be added on to by more such fractal cycles finally leading to the bigger cycle on the world scale.

With that and many later related posts in mind I am almost forced to agree with what a Sri Lankan Geologist Athula Senaratne has predicted as reported in a local TV channel, Star News and later found at allvoices.com as follows:

Geologist Predicts Quake On India-China Border On Apr 14-16

More earthquakes are possible to hit parts of Asia, counting Japan and the Chinese border with India, according to a Sri Lankan geologist.

"We can forecast another earthquake happening in Japan between April 16 and 20.

One in China closer to border with India between April 14 and 16 and one in Indonesia's Java, Sumatra regions between April 10 and 17 ," Athula Senaratne of the Peardeniya Univeristy's Geological Research Department thought.

Peradeniya University located in the central district of Kandy in Sri Lanka has the only earth science department in the island.

Senaratne said their research was based on the data of earthquakes above six in the Richter scale over the last 100 years.

He said earthquakes can have an effect on parts of Turkey, Iran and Greece as well.

He said his team had correctly predicted the March earthquake in Japan and the one early this month."

I though think that the present cycle already began with 5.7 earthquake in India on April 5.

As to the political upheavels part I have already written about India in this regard under the post "Ominous times for India too". And I think the political upheavels in the Arab and Middle East countries too have once again started with renewed vigor.

As to the nuclear disaster what can be said? It will not take much time if it has to happen and join the cycle. Better it does not happen though there are all kinds of possibilities all over the world. Not to say that the same in Japan has yet not really ended.

PS (April 11, 2011) An earthquake of 7.1 intensity on Richter has hit Japan today...April 14 is yet three days away. Delhi have to be on maximum alert.
