Bobby Mcferiin&#39;s simple message surely made many people happy by telling them not to worry.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also beneficial for your wellness. Being happy actually protects you from the tensions of life. Stress is linked to many of the top killers such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Among the best things ever said is - &#39;The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change&#39;, and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always discover solace in knowing that it too will change.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Social networks or relationships are all-important to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of bitterness. Belonging to a spiritual group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditations foster inner peace.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Manage your time. Time is invaluable and too crucial to waste. Time management can be considered  as a list of rules that requires scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the core fundamentals of time management that should be understood to develop an effective personal time management skill. These essential skills can be fine tuned more to include the more fine-grained points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the outcomes you desire.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Laugh and laugh warmly each day.  Heard a funny joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they say -&#39;Laughter is the best medicine&#39;.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to others around you. They will more than likely reciprocate your actions. Make an effort to not keep pent up anger or frustrations, this is not good for your health. Rather find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a sensation of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they afford us a sense of value. Work on affairs that you feel are worthy of your time.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and discover something new everyday.  Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more serendipity in the future.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Are these the same things you&#39;ve thought of many times previously? They may be related to business, career, relationship or personal life.  Do you find yourself getting so far and then being stopped? Many things may stop you but number one is &#39;you&#39;.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Although you can choose to analyze what this is, think about it and try to understand why, this isn&#39;t usually effective and generally keeps you stuck. What is clear is that something is preventing you from having what you want. It may be a single block or it may be a number of things all rolled into one. There are numerous types of blocks such as lack of clarity, direction or confidence. Others may be your beliefs, your lack of resources and action or even fear of success.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; These blocks not only stop us from doing or having what we want, they can also consume an even larger amount of time and energy. Perhaps you think about them quite a bit and worry why you have them. The tendency is to think the block stopping you is too large and would require superhuman effort from you to overcome it. When we feel it&#39;s too big to handle, we tend not to do anything about it. So the block stays there and you feel frustrated you&#39;re not moving ahead as fast as you want.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Perhaps you want to write a book and you may feel blocked about writing, even putting pen to paper. Perhaps you want to stand in front of people and speak or do presentations and this block may represent a lack of confidence. Perhaps you want promotion in your job and your block is your lack of managerial or leadership skills. Whatever it is, there is an easy way to go beyond it.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; We tend to be so obsessed with waiting till we know the perfect course of action that we never move beyond this point. We believe if we think about it sufficiently we&#39;ll be sure we know what we need to do. The difficulty with this approach is that we use a lot of time and energy thinking, and still don&#39;t get to the point of decision.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; All the thinking in the world doesn&#39;t replace the knowledge you gain from actually doing something. Only then will you know whether something works and is right for you. Instead of thinking about the block, what causes it and why you haven&#39;t overcome it, allow yourself to have some fun as you play with and experiment with ideas and who you need to be.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Imagine what it would be like to keep moving forward instead of getting so far and stopping. Let your particular obstacle be something you&#39;re going to play with. Choose to experiment each week with a new idea, a different approach, even an outrageous one. The key is to keep taking action and playing rather than be bogged down and achieving nothing. Blocks usually stop people dead in their tracks and you have to keep moving and not allow it to stop you.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Imagine a pile of children&#39;s building blocks and take one piece at a time to play with. One day it may be a middle brick you play with which causes half the pile to fall down. You never know which piece will really make the difference.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Instead of looking at all these things and trying to think your way through them, you need to keep playing. Focus only on the part that is unfolding now; don&#39;t rush ahead in your mind and try to work out what may be needed or what obstacle may come up next. Be in the moment. As we rush ahead in our mind, more obstacles may come up and again this may stop you. If you grab the audience&#39;s attention from the beginning they will be more likely to listen to the rest of your speech.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &quot;What is the best thing I can say at the beginning to make the audience listen to me?&quot;  is good question to ask yourself if you want to have a grate opening in your speech.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; A good speech opening may include these 3 elements:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 1) Topic introduction - In the same way a book has a contents so can your speech.  Here you tell the audience what you are going to tell them.  This gives your speech structure and grabs the audience&#39;s attention.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 2) Startle your audience with a question - &quot;Who wants to know how to make $100,000 in 90 days&quot;  When the audience hears a question like that they will wan to know the answer.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 3) An historical quote - &quot;Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country&quot; - John F Kennedy.  If you grab the audiences emotions you can grab their attention.  When the audience hears something that once made them feel emotional hearing it again will be bring them back to that emotion.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; A speech opening is a lot like a newspaper headline. For much too long we have been taught that money leads us into temptation and sin. Money will take over your life and ultimately enslave you. You must avoid becoming wealthy. It is sinful to desire a better life than the life you have now. Money will bring you to a horrible and eternal death. Money will become your master and lead you into eternal damnation.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This mindset is the exact opposite of the truth found in God&#39;s Holy Word. It is in opposition to the success principles promised to us in God&#39;s Word. It just does not seem to be logical that God would create this wonderful world and fill it with all of its wealth and beauty as a means to lead men astray or to tempt and corrupt them. The truth is that He created all of the wealth in the world FOR His magnificent and favorite creation - mankind. This understanding is essential to the success principles that you need to learn.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You can look around you and see that slavery to money is a real issue. However, the true cause of this slavery does not come from having an abundance of money. It comes from the &#39;lack&#39; of money. It is a fact, and I&#39;m sure that you have noticed, that the majority of people who do not have money are heavily in debt, work grueling and long hours for a little amount of money that does not cover the bills. Those who do not have money  are constantly worried about how they are going to get the money for this or that bill. Unfortunately this situation puts people into a position where they are willing to do almost anything to get the money they need to survive. The true slaves to money are those who have to constantly rake and scrape enough of it to get by in this world.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; We can say that money is a mirror and that one of the major attributes of money is that it simply reflects the real character of a persons. When you study success principles (Solomon&#39;s are, in my opinion the best) you need to consider the truth about financial slavery. If you are greedy, money simply reveals your greed. If you are dishonest, money amplifies this character trait. If you are prone to a poor mindset, you can&#39;t control money. If you are foolish (the Biblical meaning of &#39;without God&#39;), you&#39;re soon parted from it. Solomon tells us in Proverbs 21:20 (The Amplified Bible) &quot;There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and wastes it.&quot;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you look you will see that there are thousands of poor Christians who religiously go to Church every time that the doors are opened. Have you noticed how many born again believers are sick, poor, discouraged, plagued with debt and worry. It amazes me to see Christians falling for the old teaching that they must be poor to be humble. This image of a believer was established after the death of the last disciple who walked with Jesus Christ while He walked on earth. This was a teaching geared at keeping the populace poor and under the control of the church hierarchy.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; There are many who are surely slaves to money (to not having it). They are always seeking just enough to get by. I hear Christians praying for a financial blessing. Imagine God looking from Heaven, shaking His head and saying, &quot;Read your Holy Bible! I created all that exists in this physical world for you. I have given you directions in My Holy Scripture for you to prosper.&quot; All of God&#39;s success principles are there.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; It is time for believers to start believing! That money leads to evil is a cop-out. The &#39;DESIRE&#39; for money is the root of evil. When the desire for money exceeds and precedes the desire for the presence of God, evil intentions come to pass. It is time to break the bondage of financial slavery. You need to remove the curse of poverty from your life. You can do this and not succumb to the temptations of this lust-filled world. If you will simply change that poverty mindset, you can attain every success that God the Father wants for you.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you can read and think and you are teachable, you can remove the chains of poverty. Do you want to break the bonds of financial slavery? Do you want to live a successful and stress free lifestyle? It&#39;s a proven fact that there will always be trials and tribulations. Your finances do not have to be one of them.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; In the New Testament Jesus told us that men would hate us because of Him. He taught us that we would suffer trials and tribulations. Trials and tribulations are the tests by which our metal is tested. These &#39;tests&#39; are nothing more than character builders. You have been told in the Bible that Christ, on the Cross, defeated Satan. Why do you insist on letting evil defeat you? Why do you insist on letting a world that has been given to you, over which you have been given dominion, keep you down. You can dominate your world through the indwelling Holy Spirit of the One True Living God.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You are a child of the King of King, the Lord of Lords. You are an heir and co-heir with Jesus Christ of the Kingdom of Heaven. Why do you live like a pauper under the slavery of money?&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You have the ability to break free. Would you like to live free? Would you like to provide more than you can imagine for your family ? Study the manual that gives you every solution to every problem that you face in life. I made the comment that some people don&#39;t realize the result they desire because they are more concern with changing effects rather than the causes.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Let me explain this further with this example. It is a common belief, shared by many, that personal resources are very limited, money being the most common one. If someone is feeling a financial pinch, the first thing they want to do is limit spending.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; At the moment, they don&#39;t realize that their idea of lack becomes the focal point for all of their energy. Now please don&#39;t misunderstand me. Prudence is important and it certainly makes good sense to reevaluate your budget when faced with financial challenge. However, this too often just becomes the way that people live, through a sense of lack. They begin to accept this as just the way things are.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; A closer analysis with uncover some facts that should be known. The practice of  &quot;cutting back&quot;  is one that focuses on lack. That is, what they do not possess, what they are lacking in life. All of their focus and energy is keeping that state of lack at the forefront and energized.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Secondly,  &quot;cutting back&quot;  will not increase income. Only by making more money will your income increase. The natural question asked by these individuals is, how?  How can I make more money when my income is fixed by how much I make a hour, a week, or a month?&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This is actually the whole point of learning about the law of attraction. This is the perfect opportunity to put the lessons into practice because at this point you will be motivated to experience a change. However, since most people can&#39;t figure out how that change might come about, they discount the law of attraction.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; But that is not your true fate, to be frustrated with the limitation of life. The law of attraction was designed so that you could push back your limitations and rise above your present conditions to conceive new ideas. This law is designed for you to experience new opportunities in your life, by allowing yourself to be a part of the creative process.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; By using the law of attraction, they would begin to create the thought image of life with increased financial resources. They would use their imagination to create the thought image of how life would be without the financial limitation.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; As you imagine your new life you naturally begin to create clearer and clearer pictures of that life. As that happens, you naturally add more and more emotion about your thought image. This is the key. Now through the law of attraction you find yourself attracted to the things that you need and attracting to you, the things that you need to manifest your thought image.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now those thoughts begin to find harmony with similar thoughts and soon the individual finds themselves attracted to certain opportunities and opportunities for additional financial gain attracted to them.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Notice how your entire focus has now switched from just the results to the real cause of the results you experience. That is your thoughts! This section contains information about what to expect.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Many people can detoxify their body from alcohol quite safely at home. However, if you are concerned or frightened about what is happening or even if you have had a bad experience in the past, you should contact your physician or local community alcohol team. Do not try to be a martyr and punish yourself with bad withdrawals.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The first three days will probably be the worst. You can expect to feel anxious, irritable and restless and may have flu-like symptoms. Do not give up; in a week to ten days you will feel much better.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Alcohol has a high sugar content and it is helpful to replace this for the first few days. Drinking fruit juice is the best way to do this.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Alcohol disturbs your natural sleep patterns; if you can&#39;t sleep or wake after just a few hours, don&#39;t worry - this is quite normal and will right itself after a few weeks. Try learning some relaxation exercises.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; As time goes by, you should find a renewed interest in old habits. It is important to allow yourself to enjoy them. You might find you want to watch TV, do as much as you like and try to get some exercise. Also, give yourself some small objectives that you know you can achieve. If your goal is to also quit smoking this is not the time for it  - do something about it at a later date - one thing at a time.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; You may want to explain to people close to you what you are feeling. Don&#39;t be upset if they appear to lack faith in you - they need time to adjust just like you.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Stopping drinking will not solve all the problems that caused you to drink in the first place. Do not fall in to the trap of trying to tackle them all right away. After a while you will be in a better position to put your problems in to the proper perspective and can then begin to talk to someone like a counselor.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Please beware of setting yourself up to drink again. Stay away from the places and people who enabled you to drink. Centering Technique refers to the process whereby, your body gets prepared to receive the benefits of Chakra Meditation. The actual step involves taking 3-5 deep breaths. And visualization involves the assumption of feeling of relaxation of every body part from toe to head by tightening and relaxing each body part starting from toe, and moving in the northwards direction, till the head. The final act is the visualization of the act of centering a pot on a pottery wheel.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; 3. Relaxation Technique refers to the process whereby, the body feels relaxed by an act of visualization that suits an individual the best. Every individual is free to adopt his or her own relaxation method.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Here is a simple method of performing Chakra Meditation:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; a) Sit or lie down in a position that is most comfortable for your body.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; b) Close your eyes and loosen your clothing. The idea is to be in a natural state without any kind of artificial compulsion on the body and mind.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; c) Breathe in a relaxed manner, which should be neither too fast nor too slow. The idea is to give up the control on your breath, and let it flow naturally, but healthily.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; d) Start feeling every part of your body from toe to the head in that direction. While your eyes are closed, feel the earth you are lying or sitting on, or the bed you are lying or sitting on, feel the aura around you, feel the clothes you are wearing. Feel everything you&#39;d have had your eyes been open. Visualize life in darkness!&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; e) All the negative thoughts and emotions should not be avoided. Let them be! With time and regular practice, these thoughts will disappear automatically. Rather, when no such negative emotion disturbs you, that is the time when you should consider that you have perfected the art of Chakra Meditation.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; f) Feel every subtle inner detail and let your awareness travel freely from one body part to the other.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; This exercise can be done at any time of the day and for any duration of time. Being happy in reality protects you from the tensions of life. Stress is linked to many of the top killers such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Among the best things ever said is - &amp;#39;The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change&amp;#39;, and in our life we have the power to make the necessary changes if we want to. Even if we find ourselves in an unbearable situation we can always discover solace in knowing that it too will change.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Social networks or relationships are all-important to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid skirmishes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of bitterness. If arguments seem unavoidable still try and make an effort to comprehend the situation and you might just get past it.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Happiness is in reality found in everyone, increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and also healthier.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; To be happy is relatively easy, just make a decision to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people, most of the time chose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their mind-set was going to be. The choice is easy really, choose to be happy.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; There are several ways by which you can do this.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Showing gratitude is an excellent attitude.  We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mail, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can&amp;#39;t begin their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a wise thing to do.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; A spiritual association is also recommended. Belonging to a spiritual group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditations foster inner peace.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Manage your time. Time is priceless and too crucial to waste. Time management can be viewed  as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, producing lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the essential fundamentals of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These essential skills can be fine tuned more to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Laugh and laugh warmly each day.  Heard a funny joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they say -&amp;#39;Laughter is the best medicine&amp;#39;.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Verbalize your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to others around you. They will more than likely reciprocate your actions. Make an effort to not keep represses anger or frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that won&amp;#39;t cause more distress or pain to anyone.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Working hard makes for tremendous personal gratification. It gives a sensation of being competent in finishing our tasks. Achievements are essential for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on affairs that you feel are worthy of your time.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and discover something new everyday.  Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more serendipity in the future.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Many people from various walks of life are saying that we ourselves have the power to create anything we want in our lives.  There are even some physicists that claim that we, like some sort of mini-gods, have the power to create at our fingertips.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now hold on, all you devout Christians, and don&amp;#39;t get nervous. No-one is saying here that we are God, with that capital G. Just that we have some god-like characteristics. And one of them is the power to create. Now this is not a foreign concept to Christianity. If you remember your bible, it says that we are created &amp;quot;in the image and likeness of God.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; As one thinks of this, one has to wonder if we are finally now hitting on some of the meaning of this quote, which has been much debated for over two thousand years.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; The movie The Secret is saying it. Eckart Tolle is saying it. Even Oprah Winfrey is even saying it. With so many strong voices, who can deny- we do have the power to create our lives and our worlds. At least to some extent. And it seems that &amp;#39;how to manifest anything you want&amp;#39; is largely about BEING the type of person who sends out the right energy to get it.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; So we&amp;#39;ll move away from religion and just assume this one, sort of common-sense concept. Namely, our mood, our outlook, our hidden agendas, our backgrounds, and just our way of being color our world and what happens to us.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; So then if we believe this, we have to ask ourselves where did our way of being, our outlook, our thought process come from? How come, for instance, we are the way we are, and not some other way we could be? Did it all just happen by accident? Was it fate?  Was it just my gene&amp;#39;s? In short, exactly how do our very identities get created?&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Well hold on to your hats folks, because the newest word on the streets is that  WE OURSELVES created our identities. That&amp;#39;s right, each one of us created our very own ways of being. And if this is true, logic would follow that we should be able to uncreate ourselves too. And then recreate our selves some other way as we prefer.  And this in fact is what many people on the planet are doing. And they&amp;#39;re doing it with great success- attracting whatever they want by changing their very way of being. He has on black jeans and a sexy black shirt. You are attracted to his chic sensuality. You are about to walk over to him when he turns his head and glares at you with a look of disdain. The look is clear. It says, &amp;#39;Stay away, I&amp;#39;m not interested.&amp;#39;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; If you are like most people you will slink away to the buffet- ego deflated. You may begin to wonder if it is the dress you wore, or the cologne he smelled from across the room. Perhaps you will consider throwing that stuff away. Perhaps you will think, I&amp;#39;m just not my most attractive today. Then you will avoid men for the evening, and when it is over, follow your lonely course home.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now suppose you are on the other side and you are the male. Here&amp;#39;s what may be happening for you. You have just taken a sip of your cocktail, and it is sour as a green lemon. You purse your lips to try to keep from spitting it out. You are noticing nothing but the bad taste in your mouth- and you are thinking of how to get rid of it without drawing attention.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; His look of disdain was actually a reaction to his drink. He never even saw you until later, when he meandered over to the buffet and saw this vision in white. She was lovely, but she had an aloof look on her face. It was an above-it-all look. Still she was very appealing, in an odd sort of way. But he decided he was not up for the certain rejection, and walked away.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Now if we look, both of these people in this story are 100% sure that they know &amp;#39;reality.&amp;#39; They are sure that they know the very thoughts in each others heads. And that is the difference between perception and reality. And because of their beliefs, which they take as real, these two potential soul mates never even meet.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; And I would venture to say that this is how most of us do life. We go on our merry way, doing and not doing, based on what we think. And what we think is hugely colored by our judgments and assessment, beliefs and past. But we don&amp;#39;t think it is colored. We think we are seeing the world how it really is.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Can you imagine how many opportunities we miss that we don&amp;#39;t even know about?&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; In this and future articles we will look at the difference between perception and reality. We will look to see how setting aside limiting beliefs and assumptions can give us miracles in our lives- miracles in romance, career, finances, life-fulfillment, and every other are of life.
